I've been wondering that one myself. You'd think it wouldn't be the obvious (Victor or Lissa), but I guess it would all depend on how she was de-throned.

What do people think of Tasha Ozera becoming the next Queen?

No I don't think Tasha would be a good leader. Tasha has already built up too much tension amongst the moroi. Most royals wouldn't go along with it nor allow that to even happen. And well the royals are the ones who decide. (Sorry but that's politics.) Now I know it's the obvious one but Lissa truly does have the makings of a great leader everyone both royal and non royal, and dhampirs alike, but like and respect her. Lissa has the same ideals as Tasha but Lissa could actually carry them out in a proper way that would make everyone happy with a bit of comprimise. Tasha is just to radical in her approach and wouldn't have the same following that Lissa could. Even Tasha would have to realize that Lissa is a far better candidate. Tasha did her part by using her radical behavior to put new thoughts and ideas and solutions out on the table creating the controversy and publicity. Now Lissa is the one fine tuning the details.

If Tasha was de throned do you think she would handle it dignified or seek out victors cause?

From what I make of her character, she won't go quietly or with out a fight.

I really don't think Lissa would make a good Queen. I think she'd be able to handle making decisions, but her Spirit charisma makes her too likeable/agreeable, and I fear that people might agree with her against their better judgement. She's also not entirely mentally stable. Sure she's good at working her way through the political side of things, but if something touched her too deeply I think she'd crumble. (or maybe not now that Rose has left her, perhaps she'll harden up)

As for Tasha, I never considered her. I don't think she seeks power, but uses it if it comes to her. Like when she was attacked by her strigoi relatives; she was handed an oportunity to learn to defend herself and took it up with skill and determination. I think if she was voted into it/became queen she'd take it in her stride and succeed greatly. However, I doubt she'll be considered instantly because everyone fears the Ozeras and she's such a scandal. I like the thought though.

It's a shame really....I like Tasha . Better than Lisa . But I dont think the moroi will choose her as their leader because of what happened

yeah I like her to other than when she was trying to lure dimitri away. But I just don't see her ruling. It's funny though ho we all have our own versions of the characters un related to real people. With Tasha how ever the entire time I was reading the books I kept picturing that girl Zooey Deschanel when ever I thought of Tasha. I really like zooey so I think thats why I liked Tasha so much.

I'm re-reading the Court section of Shadow Kiss at the moment, and not for the first time in the last few days I've found myself liking the evil master-mind of a story. (Ironically my fave evil master-minds all have names starting with "V" : Victor, Voldemort and Valentine...must be something fantasy authors like) Anyway, Victor's pretty cool though, and the way he just casually refers to Rose and Dimitri's relationship as though he were commenting on the weather makes me like him more (for some strange reason)

I like him . He is one of my fave character from VA series I hope he breaks out of prision in BP

I like Victor Dashkov too, what he did to Lissa just because he was suffer with his ill.

What he did to Lisa wasn't kool at all . But I like him because he is evil in a very elegant way!

He definitely has a sort of classy evil thing going for him. You can tell they're really good evil people when they don't care that they're being evil...if that made sense.
