| I would assume they had heard about it, news travels fast. You'd think he would have called them. I dont think ya'll remember, but his Gma knew what Rose was trying to do, so wouldnt it serve to think she'd know. I think he and Rose should go back there. I know we are done with Rose's story, but I'd like to think they other characters are still going to see and interact with her and Dimitri.
I guess i dont feel that sorry for adrian like the rest of you, I dont blame Rose either. Dimitri tried to resist, and they were both in such need of each other. She said it couldnt happen again after, and wanted to tell him in person. Im surprised Adrian deduced everything so fast, which makes me think he knew this was gonna happen. It wouldnt have been fair for he and Rose to be together, when she never really got her heart back from Dimitri.
Anyways, i posted this on the second page, but I think they should go to visit his family, and we should get to see how that goes down, and with Mark and all of them. Im not sure how that'll happen with Sydney narrarating, and stories following Jill, Adrian, and Eddie (unless Eddie is lissa's guardian also, she can pick him and she should). i was right about everyoen at least, accept for Chrstian i thought would be also. | |

| I don't blame Rose either. Imagine that you're on a run not knowing if you're gonna be alive tommorrow and suddenly the love of your life tells you he loves you too... I would go for it! I thought Rose handled it pretty good afterwards since she totally confessed and took the blame, appologized for it and didn't even try to exuse herself. That's what I like about her... she's such strong character that makes you believe she can do anything. I'm really glad she got her happy ending and I'm sure we'll hear more about her in the spin off  and Dimka! <3 | |

| i dont really blame her either because i wouldnt be able to resist dimitri either so i dont blame her but i just think she should of waited till she told adrian that she wanted dimitri but i guess love cant wait so i dont hold it agianest her and i do hope that we here more about her and dimitriin BL and lissa and chrsitian and it would be cool if eddie was lissa guardian too. | |

| i think that the book left a lot of questions and not many answers
i really hope theres some interaction with rose and dimitri you cant just write them out
i guess lissa will be in cuz jill is the whole sibling thing
the book didnt really say what happened to adrian once rose confronted him he wasnt really metioned

| I didn't read LS until March 28-April 1st (took my time to savor) as it hurt to much to finish the series. - Spoiler:
Okay I might have a slightly different view on the series as many other fans, and I'm a tad more blunt, but I loved the books. Laughed and cried right through LS too. RM has such an amazing writing ability you really feel like you are there in her world... when you finish it's a little like dying.. knowing that world is going to go on without you. I get a little attached to things. *grin* To simplify.. reality is so boring when you put her books down.
• I was curious as to why she didn't make mention of Dimitri's family as others of you said. Guardians being as they are I would have thought someone would have told them Dimitri had turned Strigoi long before Rose went to Russia.. and in turn that he had turned back to dhampir. The poor family already had a memorial for him, tell them he's alive already, it's important!!!
• I love Tasha and always hoped that Dimitri would end up with her. I'm really disappointed with her character storyline.. judging her from early on doesn't match up with her behavior in LS. It seemed like a cop-out to me. I love you RM, but it does. She was turned into a scapegoat. It should have been Adrians mother. I can't see Tasha (the real one *wink*) acting like that at her maturity. She is too intelligent, kind and level headed. She's not secretive, back-stabbing or childish. Fooey. She's not a killer, someone who put her own life on the line for Christian not so many years prior. I'm hoping she's cleared of the queens murder in Bloodlines (it was said she didn't purposely shoot at Lissa in addition, only acting out of sheer panic) and ends up with Dimitri. *sticks out digital tongue* Bring back the 'real' Tasha, please!! *grin*
• Rose was her typically infuriating self throughout, you have to love her. You wanted to solve her problems for her as reading 'her way' was just digging herself in deeper messes. lol ugh. I was really hoping she would mature in this book… nope. It's okay, she deserves to be young even with all her bonus life lessons to date. I had been hoping one of the new characters promised in this book would have been someone knew for Rose, someone more fitting herself. She's too immature for Dimitri. *sigh* Didn't happen. Had a feeling it wouldn't it was another reason it took me so long to read LS.
• Adrian. Poor lovely Adrian. I hope he finds he soul mate in Sydney (she did mention in LS that he was cute) or at least in Bloodlines. He always deserved someone more fitting himself. Someone strong who loves him for who he is to give him strength. I'm glad he's not with Rose she hurt him so many times. Boy did he let her have it in the end. (Sorry but, yay!) You can't say she didn't deserve every word. He was really pretty kind.
• Lissa as Queen was a shock. Until Ariana fell out of the running I always thought it would be her or be one of the better hopefuls. Lissa is great for the job, but I feel for her, she's so young. Talk about having to grow up immediately. So glad she's back with Christian! Finally. All the guardians were routing for her, that brought a tear to my eye too. The dragon poster in their room… awe. B-)
• I really like Roses parents. They are so great and so funny!
• Sonya and long lost love. *Squee* So happy for them, I really like their story together. Wonder if Robert will pop up in Bloodlines too?
• Dimitri. Why Rose?? *sniffle* Is it always looks with men (no I do get it, her larger than life personality. Courage, ability to solve things, and many more wonderful traits, etc.)? She's too young though, doesn't meet his frame of mind. The biggest thing that brought me to tears over this is babies. Someone as absolutely perfect as Dimitri (even perfect in the face of his imperfections) is that he can't have children with Rose. He of all guardian Dhampirs Dimitri should have dozens of the little ones. What an enormous loss….
I love these books. It takes something you truly love to hold to such high expectations and something that brings you to nitpick it so finely. Even if the series didn't turn out the way I wanted (it was never my baby) I still adore it.

| Dimitri and Tasha really? I'm gonna be nice bEcuase it's your opinion. I mean I don't not lik Tasha never LovEd hEr she never proved she deserved Dimka. And him and rose have a connction thEy just understand each other. But I don't think it was fair how Tasha"s story ended. (btw ur the first person I've seen that's dimka and Tasha fan). | |

| Rose needs to be ditched from the next book.  A lot of people said you can’t blame her but Rose too me is immature and off a leash.  She never thinks before she does and she puts herself, her friends and others around her at risk all the time because of her untamed attitude towards life and her actions. I love Adrian so I might be biased here but I think he is a misunderstood guy with a great heart. Him and Sydney would make a great couple. An Odd one but a great one. She would probably give him a run for his money in many departments.  Him and Jill won’t. I can see her rolling over for him and allowing him to do what he wants when he wants too. She won't challenge him and that's what he needs in his life. Rose should pop up in the first chapter and that’s really it. Dimitri shouldn’t be there at all and Lissa has to make an appearance because she is basically Jill’s sister and the thing that ties her to the rest of the crew. | |

I didn't feel this way about Rose until I read Last Sacrifice. Up until that book she was my favorite character, but I really hated what she did to Adrian. Me too. Funny thing is I didn't become a big Adrian fan until Last Sacrifice. The way he was mistreated in the last book turned me into an Adrian lover. What can I say, I always like the underdogs. Odd couples are always the best. Their differences and the "taboo-ness" of an alchemist/vampire relationship will make for a great story between these too. I'm only 200 pages into The Golden Lily but I'm already a hardcore Sydney/Adrian shipper. | |
