"Last Sacrifice" *Spoilers*

Does anyone else think, they were all out of Character? Especially at the end when Dimitri told her all her dreams came true, i mean, wtf? Dimitri doesn't act like that and Lissa is immedietly starting to act like a Queen. GRR! And how easily victor died...come ON!

I think it went pretty smoothly how did u want it to end?

Dimitri and Lissa have been through some major changes in their lives. One was turned back from strigoi and the other became queen even though that wasn't even her goal. I'd say it would be unrealistic if such major events in their lives didn't change them.

My biggest problem was with Rose. LS actually made her my least favorite character because of how inconsiderate she was to Adrian. She cheated on him yet refused to tell him until she got him to do her a favor. Then when she dumps Adrian she twists the knife deeper by insulting him and basically saying he needs to grow up. The latter part is rather ironic since Rose has done of slew of things in all six books that make her come across as immature and self-centered. I was willing to overlook the selfishness she displayed in the previous books by getting Eddie into so much trouble and risking Lissa going to jail for treason because she was in mourning over Dimitri at the time, but now there is really no excuse for what she did to Adrian or Sydney. The former is now heartbroken and the latter is in deep trouble with both Abe and the Alchemists because of the way Rose chose to go about trying to find Lissa's half-sibling. I was a Rose/Dimitri fan but after LS I'm 100% Team Adrian. I hope Adrian will be a main character in the spin-off so he and Sydney can become a couple.

yeah I know some of thr mistakes rose did were wrong and she shouldn't have cheated on Adrain. Everybody makes mistakes and rose went through he'll getting back Dimitri risking her life and her friends choose to help her so it's not roses fault they knew what they were getting themseles into. And Adrain kinda forced rose into a realtionship with the contract knowing if she got an opportunity to be with Dimitri she would take it. And rose was the one that knew what she was doing when she slept With Dimitri. Buy I do hope Adrain gets a happy ending though becuase that would just suck.

The thing is most of the time Rose doesn't even fill her friends in on her entire plan so they really don't know what they're getting themselves into. Eddie had no idea he signing up for comitting treason in SB. Rose kept that important fact from him because she knew he would say no if he knew the truth. Sydney is also someone that never signs on for any of Rose's plans. She gets dragged into it because of Abe and because Rose will go ahead and do whatever she wants regardless of what Sydney thinks.

Yes, Adrian should have known better than to start a relationship with Rose when she was clearly not over Dimitri, but that doesn't make Rose any less guilty for using Adrian.

Even if they didn't know the finer details, they all had to have realized that anything regarding Rose would be extreme/dangerous. Eddie said he went along with Rose's plans because they're friends. Don't forget, he's not above doing reckless things either, unless you consider that stunt he pulled in Spokane with Mason a family vacation. He knows exactly what he's getting into. Also, Rose warned him beforehand that what they were doing in SB would be illegal and just plain bad. He never said he wouldn't have helped her if he'd known. Eddie is responsible for what he chooses to do and who he chooses to help.

Rose can't control what Abe does with Sydney. Whatever their business arrangement is, it doesn't concern Rose. If Abe has Sydney do something for him, Rose can't be held responsible for where it takes her. Besides, Sydney could always just pack up and leave even though it might risk what she has at stake with Abe, but she continues to help Rose by the end of the book because she's actually curious/concerned about what happens to her.

It sucks that Rose cheated on Adrian, but that's life. Rose chose to be with the person that she knew she not only had fun with, but who understood her and made her happy. That person wasn't Adrian. Now he has to suck it up and deal with it.

Dang I was gonna add some stuff but you pretty much covered it dimkaluv. And that's true about Eddie he knew exActly what he was getting to in spirit bound and took the consquences for it. And it's not like rose doesn't feel bad for what she did towards the end of LS she asked Dimitri. Do I risk or ruin peoples lives? And yeah some people didn't get the happy ending but that's what the spin off is for they'll be more oppurtunities. But rose DID deserve to be with Dimitri after everything she went through.

I like that you said there's more opportunities for the characters' whose stories were left uncertain because that's how I feel about it too. We'll be seeing them again soon. For now though, I'm glad to know that Rose got her happy ending.

exactly, if everyone got a happy ending there would be no reason for a spin off. And the point was to finish roses"s story and tell someone elses.

I'm not really pissed of with Rose. Although I didn't expect Rose and Dimitri to go all the way when Rose hadn't called it off with Adrian.

I didn't expect to find out about Sydney's deal with Abe. afterall the spin off is centred around her.
