Theories as to who killed the Queen?

Its kinda too bad Richelle killed off Pricilla Voda. If she wasn't dead, I'd definitely think that it was her that killed the queen. I still have a feeling that Ambrose's aunt was involved. She never did like Rose, because she didn't believe in the cards, and if Ambrose was "involved" with the queen, like everyone suspects, then she might have been mad about that if she found out. I wonder who Ambrose's parents are??

I don't think his aunt would have done it, OK, Rose wasn't a believer in religion and the cards but she didn't like what she shown or told + Rhonda told her a good and close friend would betray her and she's neither so it doesn't fit.

If she did say that a good and close friend would betray her (Which rings a bell, I just don't remember exactly) then my money's on Tasha.

She's a real possible traitor but it also doesn't fit with her asking for Rose to be her guardian. I'm not so sure with who's done it really.

If Tatiana is the killer, I'm thinking she was already planning something when she requested Rose as her guardian.

We don't even know his last name! To us, he's just "Ambrose". Unless I missed something, which is entirely possible.

No, you're right, we have no idea what his last name is so we have no idea who he really is.

It'd be nice to get some background for him in LS.

So, I thought of something, and I'm not sure if anyone had thought of this before. I've got a motive for Tasha killing the queen. I think she did it because she's mad that Dimka chose Rose over her, and now that Dimka's back, if she can get rid of Rose, then maybe she can get Dimka. I think the whole thing with her asking Rose to be her guardian was because Dimka wasn't back yet, and so she needed a guardian, or maybe she was just asking to throw Rose off her trail, or maybe Richelle did it to throw us off Tasha's trail. That bit I'm still not sure about.

Sorry, but someone else has come up with that idea lol. It's a clever idea, but I'm still not convinced.

Alright, that's a good prediction. Much better than some other I've heard (e.g. adrian did it under compulsion)

Like I said, I wasn't sure if anyone else had suggested it, and I didn't want to go all the way back to figure it out. I think it's a good idea, though. Kudos to the person who thought of it first.

I thought of that, too, and I still think that's the most likely possibility. The only problem is that we don't know how did she get past all that guardians, which is the main reason why a lot of people think that Tasha is not the killer.

That's a problem, but she knew how to fight physically, so it wouldn't be that difficult. Also, she appears to be all good and stuff, therefore noone suspects her, so it's possible that she's gonna be the killer (you know, hidden character, get back to rose for dimitri etc)

Yes, she has motives and everything, but... If she fought the guardians to get to Tatiana, then people would know it was her who killed her. That's why the easiest way to get past them would be by using compulsion, but she's a fire user, so her compulsion is probably quite weak... I don't know.

Ya, her compulsion would be pretty weak, but even Mia was able to use enough to get past guardians. Were the guardians still alive? If not, then nobody would know it was her. I'm gonna re-read it. I'm forgetting too many important details for my liking.

Actually i was thinking about that and it makes since what if she made someone with strong compulsion do it for her? I mean its just a thought but a thoughts worth a million words.

But we only know 4 people, correct me if I'm wrong, that can use compulsion so much better than anyone else in the books. The spirit users. If she wanted to get there undetected then she would most probably need a spirit user to do the work, but who could it be?

I don't think there's anyone who could have helped her, at least not one of the spirit users that we know of. Maybe Victor, but I don't know how likely is that.

That's pretty unlikely.. Seriously, no one thought how Rose would get past all the guardians?

What happened to all those guardians anyway? I don't remember if anything was mentioned. They don't remember anything, or they were killed, or injured, or didn't notice anything suspicious...?

This is all strange and doesn't add up. RM is really playing with our minds here! I do not like one bit of this, but I love a good mystery and we'll either fail at figuring this out, or succeed brilliantly and will be over the moon when we read it and knowing we got bits of it right.
