Theories as to who killed the Queen?

I think it's more likely the person who doesn't want the truth to be known. If not, they would have probably contacted Lissa as soon as they had the records, right? So I think it's someone who simply wanted these records to disappear. The reason can be because they don't want Lissa to have her voting rights or it can because of something else. Someone mentioned a theory of Adrian being Lissa's half-brother. If that's the case, Daniella might have stolen the records because she doesn't want anyone to find out who's Adrian's father. I mean, she has a husband who thinks Adrian is his son. Just an example - I'm trying to say that Lissa's voting right isn't necessarily the only motive to steal the records.

I've just finished reading the book again and some parts are quite ironic because I understood the meaning more. I then came across where Ambrose turned up after Rose was dragged out of the hearing. It came to me that he could be the thief in order to give the file to Tatiana. Just a thought.

Possible. I'm just wondering where did the file end up, if that's the case.
I was rereading the book today, too, and I came across the information that Lissa indeed wouldn't be able to become a queen unless she had a voting right which, we know now, requires her to have a sibling. So who's going to take Tatiana's place until Rose finds Lissa's sibling?

If Priscilla Voda hadn't been killed then I think it would've been her but now, I have no idea who could rule an entire race of Moroi and dhampirs. I don't think RM will focus on that bit until it's a very important time/moment for it. This book is going to be full of surprises and shocks!!!

Good thinking but in the letter to rose it was thrown in my face that tatiana stole the records. But the creative optimistic and wt ever person could be the half sibling. I seriously think that richelle is going to put that the half sibling as a brother.

Tatiana didn't know if the sibling was male or female. She left the quest to Rose to find out.

If Adrian were Lissa's brother, then he would be the oldest Dragomir. He would become the prince. Daniella might not care if everyone found out about her affair if her son could be king. I don't really think Adrian is Lissa's brother, but many people think it's a possibility.

True, he would become a king.
I think it might be Jill. If it's really someone we know, then I don't see who else it might be.

But jill aint there. It's still a possiblility.

I think it's possible because Jill's father was never mentioned, she has green eyes just like Lissa and her mother is dancer - maybe she used to be one of those showgirls in Vegas. Just a thought.

I never thought about the reasons why Jill would be Lissa's half-sibling and it's a good idea. She's a ballet dancer, Jill's mother but you could be right in thinking that she was a showgirl and then moved from Vegas to where they are now.

Well jil as a half sibling is very possible.

I am leaning towards Jill too. I really like her character. She's honest, perky, and isn't afraid to share her opinions. In BP she wasn't afraid to tell Lissa exactly what she thought about her kissing her old boyfriend. I predict that if it isn't Jill, then it's probably someone we haven't met yet.

I agree with you kitty1eye. It's either Jill or someone new to us.

a thing inside my head is saying its ambrose, but he loves the queen.. the thing wiht eric dragomir's mistress killing the sanctimonious bitch (not so sanctimonious now) also has a point. I can't wait to kill thh suspense and read the book

I'm still kind of convinced that Ambrose stole the file or has done something suspicious while he was away, and that the killer and thief have nothing connecting each other to what they've done.

I think the first thing that will happen in the book is Rose in her cell, waiting to go to trial, and she may go or Abe breaks her out of there and they go on the run. Another option is Abe is visiting her and she tells him about Lissa's half-sibling and he works out a plan to help.

Yes, Ambrose could have stolen them so he could give them to the Queen, who could have used them to help her find Lissa's half sister/brother. But she's dead now...I think it would help Rose to find Lissa's sibling if she got the files.

I didn't think of that lol, but yes, your right, cos Tatiana is now dead, Rose should have the file on Eric to help her find Lissa's half-sibling.

I love this whole plot. I have absolutely no idea and it's been driving me crazy! It could be anyone. RM is so good at cliffhangers.

Dang! It is eating me up! My friend suggested that I should reread SB but I told her it only comes from points of veiw.

I re-read SB again and it makes much more sense now than it did before. You pick up on the ironic bits that you didn't realise that we're there before. I suggest you re-read it and have another think about your theories, that's what I did.

Yeah I did the same. There were a lot of things I hadn't thought of or noticed. It really helps re-reading a book.
