Theories as to who killed the Queen?

The killer is someone who wanted to get rid of both Rose and the queen. Maybe the key is what that fortune teller told Rose. She's been right before, hasn't she? What she told Dimitri came true and she also told Rose that she will be facing accusations and entrapment. She said Rose has an enemy, a woman, who is smart but there's a lot of hostility and deception there. That could be the person who set her up the queen's murder. But who is it? If there wasn't for this, I would support the theory of Ambrose being the murderer. But I think it's a woman and I also think Ambrose cared about the queen, he always defended her.

Yes, I don't think Ambrose is the murderer. It just doesn't feel right. 'Cause I thought he loved/ cared about the queen. I think you're right that the key is what the fortune teller told Rose. I just think Rose have to realize this and try to talk to her again. But I have no idea who the murderer could be. 'Cause who hated both Rose and the queen?

This is driving me crazy.
Who would want the queen dead? Someone who didn't agree with her decisions or someone who would have the opportunity to take her place. It could've been something more personal but I don't think that's likely.

If I didn't think it was a woman I would have thought it was Victor because he always talked about how he should rule instead of the queen.

Yes, you've got a point there. But why would he do this to Rose? I don't think he has a strong motive in that area. And it's very unlikely that he'll have a chance at taking Tatiana's place anyway, as he is a criminal who escaped prison.

Mm....but maybe he hired someone to do it? And that person hates Rose? Though I don't think that's what happened.
The thing that bothers me is that I can't come up with someone who hates both the queen and Rose. But I do think it must be someone who knows both of them and they probably trusted that person. Another thing that bothers me is that the queen knew that this person who we don't know who it is was going to kill her, which means she has to have talked to her, heard about her, or found out somehow. I think it's someone we would have never guessed killed her.

I don't know. If it's a woman... what woman do we know that could've done that? And it has to be someone who knows how to use a stake. But then again, the person could've hired someone to do it.
Yeah, it's probably someone we'd never suspect.

Mm...this is hard. If it's a Moroi I think you're right that the person hired someone. If it's a Dhampir the person might have hired someone or done it theirself. I don't think it's a Strigoi.

Strigoi wouldn't be able to even hold the stake. And I don't it's likely that the killer was working for a Strigoi.

I was just rereading Vampire Academy when I came across this: Moroi monarchs were chosen by the previous monarch from within the royal families. The king or queen couldn't choose one of his or her own direct descendants, and a council from the noble and royal families could dispute the choice with enough cause. That almost never happened, though.
If the killer wanted to take her place, it had to be someone close to her, someone convinced that Tatiana had chosen him/her, right? If she had named someone before her death. Who do you think she would chose, anyway? I think it's even possible that it's Lissa. Not the killer, the next queen

I started rereading as soon as I finished Spirit Bound. I can't stand being away from those book for too long. I even have them on my mobile phone so I can read whenever, wherever

I can't wait till the Last Sacrifice so you can find out who the murderer is and all...it's actually kinda sad that we didn't get to know that the queen was really nice 'cause I like her now, but she is dead....

I can't believe we have to wait for so long until we find out everything...
On the other hand, it'll be quite sad, the last book coming out.

I have never looked at it like that. No Dimka, that is terrible! But yeah you're right, you can just read the books again and again. And we will probably fall in love with another guy in the other books...'cause with the characters Richelle writes I'm sure we wont be disappointed.

Yeah, you're probably right. My list of fictional characters I'm in love with is already too long but I'm always willing to add more
