Theories as to who killed the Queen?

She's a good character. I just wanna know who would set Rose up.

Just thought of something I would like to see happening in LS - Dimitri teaching Rose Russian swear words Honestly, she mentioned it so many times.

i have this stupid theory as to how the queen died
well its not my theory but a friends.
the quenn killed herself blaming it on rose coz she knew rose would be the best person to do the job of finding lissa's sibling and rose knew how to break out of jail easily.
or she did it coz she still has a grudge against rose for being with adrain.

Alright that's my idea but mom said that maybe there's a look alike and the look alike was killed. I know you guys disregarded Ambrose but why not I mean she could've made him do it. And I agree about dimitri not looking at other women. It's just wrong. But when rose was arrested that was really awesome how he went from I dont love u no more to superhero hottie.

But I don't think Ambrose killed the queen, I think it's more likely that Tasha had killed her then.

Yeah, it was great how he showed that he still cares about her. Of course we all knew that.
I would go with Tasha. Maybe Daniella. Or maybe it's somebody we didn't even think of. Who knows.. But I'm still convinced it's a woman, so I would say Tasha is maybe the most likely candidate.

True. The only problem is that we don't know if Richelle wants us to think it was Tasha and it was actually someone else

I wonder if Sydney knows that everyone thinks that Rose killed the queen. She probably does...

Sydney knows almost everything probably, so I'm sure the humans know by now as well, so they can keep it on their records maybe. Woman is the most likely to be the killer, but what if the killer used compulsion on a male guardian to do her bidding? Just a thought. So many motives so people and someone that has a big enough motive and possibly hatred towards Rose, to have her killed.

here's a thought what if th fortune teller's wrong? We can't keep looking at women we need to look the other way to get make it across the street.

I know, but she's always been right before and Richelle always leaves us clues so we can try to figure it out by ourselves and I think the fortune-teller is our clue in this.

Yes, I agree. I mean she was right the last time so why not this time? And everything she said makes sense now. I can't remember everythign 'cause I don't have my book right now, but she said that Rose has an enemy and that she was going on a journey. And she is. To find Lissa's half sister or brother.

I'll try to remember everything she said:
She told Lissa she'll be a leader, something like that. That might refer to Lissa taking Tatiana's place.
She told Dimitri he'll lose what he values most. We all know the meaning of this one.
She told Rose she'll destroy the undead. This might have been referring to Dimitri - destroying the undead part of him, finding a way to get him back from being Strigoi or, less likely, simply that she'll be killing Strigoi.
The second time they met she told her about her love life being unhappy. We all know that. I'm just hoping that that doesn't mean it'll stay that way.
She also told her she'll be accused of something. Obviously the queen's murder.
She told her she had an enemy, a woman that is very smart and knows how to get things go her way. I believe she was referring to the person that set her up the murder. It could be anyone, maybe Tasha.. we'll see.
She told her she'll go on a journey. That could mean Rose escaping and being on run or searching for Lissa's sibling. Most likely both.
And the last card was about a person that is creative, trustworthy and optimistic that is either the reason for the journey or is going to be accompanying Rose. I'm not sure about this one. If it's the reason for the journey, then it's obviously Lissa's sibling and might be giving us a clue at who it is. If it's indeed someone we know, I think it's either Jill or Adrian. If it's referring to the person who's going with Rose.. I don't know.. Abe, Adrian, Lissa..? Who knows.. Now, the interesting part of this prophecy is that the fortune-teller wasn't able to see this person clearly. It was like there was a cloud around them. What could be the reason for this? Maybe the person is shadow-kissed? It might even be referring to Dimitri, since he's was 'undead' and now he's alive again.

I read on amazon (sadly it's not there anymore) something about Rose being accused for the queen's murder and Lissa being first in line to the throne. So I think you're right about that Lissa leader thing. I also agree with everything else you said.

I read that somewhere, too. It was supposed to be the summary of LS, right? I think Tatiana would want Lissa to be the next queen, I think she named her. I'm just wondering if that silly law applies to this, too. Maybe she can't become a queen unless there's another Dragomir? Maybe that's why it's so important to find her half-sibling.

The person who killed Tatiana and the person who stole the records don't necessarily have to be connected. I kind of think they go together, but they don't have to. Who would want to take the records and why?

Someone who wanted Lissa to be protected and get her voting rights:
Tatiana - we know from her letter to Rose.
Victor - we heard his conversation with Rose and Dimitri when he was in jail. He thinks Lissa could lead his revolution.

Someone who does not want Lissa to have her voting rights:
Any royal who wants their family to have more control. Those who really want to keep to the old traditions and never fight to defend themselves probably don't want Lissa to mess up their plans. If they follow tradition, an Ivashcov(sp?) could not be the next ruler. Daniella is a Tarus though, and might want her family to have the throne.
