Theories as to who killed the Queen?

Mmm we can't forget about Richard.... He has had a role in all the books so far we should expect him in this one... I think he probably will play a big role.

Yeah it's definetely a cliffhanger but my theory is she killed herself. Seriously who else would kill her. I went through nearly everyone possible for killing the queen. No one adds up so she killed herself. It even sounded that way in the note.

Not really. It sounds like she knew that someone was going to kill for a very good reason and she needed to make sure that someone knew the secret she'd been holding on to for who know how long.

Alright I was reading your theories. Mia has no way of knowing how to kill with a stake neither does Daniella. This definetely a mystery but it doesn't have to be a royal. Think about, how many guardians know how to get in? How many guardians know guardians that work there? It could've been a royals idea but a guardian had to carry it out. These are all great but we're most likely wrong. I do suspect Tasha cuz she wasn't in the last part of the book. I suspect suspect Tatiana cuz a lot of people commint sucide cuz of some secret. I suspect Daniella cuz she looked like she had alot of beef with queen. I can't suspect rose cuz I read the book and there's no way she did that. But if the janiter that said Adrien didn't enter at the time the queen was killed is a girl then I suspect her. See there's lots of great ideas but there're all the obvious.

Yes, but the most likely suspect is the one that is probably the mother of Lissa's half brother of sister, I think.

Well we don't know anything about Jane doe. All we know is she's the mom of Vasilissa's half brother or sister and her name. We don't know any problems she might have with the queen.

I agree. And I don't think we can decide who wouldn't be able to kill her based on the fact whether or not the person knows how to use a stake - it's possible that a royal Moroi could get his guardian do it for them.

Okay I really don't think Mia killed the queen but I just thought of a thing. She has made friends with some of the guardians on Court. She has trained with them and they have learned her all sort of tricks. Who says they haven't teached her how to use a stake?? And in Frostbite she used compulsion on a guardian, it wasn't very good but it worked.
Thise was just a thought and I don't think Mia is the murderer but yeah...just a thought....

True. Technically, she could have done it. I can't really find the motives for her to do it, but it could be something we don't know about, to make it a surprise.

Like I said, I don't think there's a reason for Mia to do that, unless it's something we don't know about. But I still think it's unlikely.

I currently think Tasha is the most likely candidate, especially after someone pointed out that she didn't show up at all after the murder. Usually I would expect her to be at Rose's hearing.

Okay say that Tasha is the murderer - what would her motive be?? Well, maybe she's pissed off that Dimka choose to not work for her because he loves Rose. Maybe she still want Dimka to be hers. And she was clearly pissed off about the age law thing and those other stuff so...why don't kill the queen and blame Rose? That's two flies in one kill. And then no one is with Dimka...he is free to be with her...

It's a brilliant and strong motive for her. I think Richelle Mead is maybe trying to make us think this to take our eyes off someone else, or she hoped that we wouldn't guess Tasha.

Exactly, she has motives to get rid of both Rose and the queen, she would probably know how to use a stake and it would still be a surprise to the readers because she always seemed so nice.
