| Right now I'm reading Birthmarked by Caragh O'Brien. It's about a 16 year old midwife in a dystopian future. After this I think I may reread Hunger Games and Catching Fire. I'm feeling in a sci-fi dystopian mood lately. | |

It's all your fault Ashley! (though I can't blame you really..haha, I like getting suggestions from people with good book taste)

lol Nothing beats Hunger Games. It's like the most epic story ever. Which reminds me... 80 days left until Mockingjay!! I actually really like the story and characters in Birthmarked, but I guess I'm just too lazy or tired to read the whole book. I skipped around a bit and now I don't want to finish it since I know what happens at the end. Things are left on a cliff hanger, but luckily the author will be writing a sequel.

| I just finished reading Graceling. It was good. Pretty interesting imo. Katsa reminds me of a mix of Rose and Katniss.
80 days til MJ? It's not that long a little less than 3 months away but it feels like it will take forever for August 24th to get here.
idk what to read next. I've got Stray, The Iron king, Hex Hall all due back at the library on the 22nd. I still have the 2 Succubus in the City books that I bought back in Feb and Before I Fall that I got a few weeks ago. Anyone read any of these books?

Mockingjay will be upon us in the blink of an eye!! Well, it will have felt like one when it releases anyway. I'm sure it will feel like a lifetime until then though. I've been thinking about reading Graceling, but whenever I tried I couldn't get over the weird name. I might try again though because I've only heard good things about it. I gave Katniss a try and I loved her. I'll try to give Katsa a chance too. I really need to go out to the bookstore. But I just haven't yet. Argh. There's some books on my list that I need to get. The ones I'm really waiting for this summer (other than Mockingjay) is Forget You by Jennifer Echols and I Am Number Four by Pitticus Lore. They're making a movie out of Number Four, staring ALEX PETTYFER. Yeah. I want to see it. But the book sounds really good too. It's really surprising that they're making a movie out of it when the book hasn't even released yet. - SecretMagic wrote:

It's probably better if you don't check the countdown clock every day. lol If you forget about it for a while it feels like it comes faster.

| I just finisehed Passing Strange by Daniel Waters. If you like Generation Dead, you should definitly read it. It was great, not the best, but great.
Now I'm going to start THE FALLEN 1 by Thomas E. Sniegoski. It's two book in one: The Fallen and Leviathan.

Will there be more books in the GenDead series after Passing Strange? Does anyone know how many if there are?

| I was going to watch the premiere of it but totally forgot about it. I didn't know it was based on a series until I saw the book in target. I'll have to check it out. Right now I'm somewhat rereading Eclipse. I'm reading 2-3 chapters a day. I'll start on Hex Hall today as well. I gotta go pick up Hush, Hush from the library tomorrow. I can't wait to read that one! | |

| Im dying to read the new Sookie Stackhouse book, it came out last month. I also been wanting to re-read the twilight books but I kinda don't want to be seen reading those books. That short novel SM released about Bree Turner is aviable for free reading, but also, i don't want to be seen reading it. I feel like a hypocrite reading those books will all the trash I talk about it. Plus, I'm very very angry that anything vamp or were is being compared to twilight. I just fought with my friend because she is comparing True Blood ( the tv show) to twilight with the inflection true blood is copying the vamp vs werewolves thing. and I'm like whoa hold onnnn twilight wasn't released until 2005. The first book that corresponds with True Blood was realized in 2001- ish. And the vamp vs were thing totally predates SM. Authors have been writing about vamps and weres and the supernatural way before she was even born. So annoying. | |

I've read the first 3 books, but haven't found the rest yet. I'm hoping they'll bring the tv series to Australia..it'd be cool to see how they adapt it.

| I'm not reading anything right now. I want to get some stuff at Chapters soon, though. I want to get the latest HON, Morganville, Generation Dead and maybe even the second Percy Jackson.
The last books I read were: Spirit Bound (VA), The Lightning Thief (PJO). Before that I read the latest Vampire Diaries, Succubus Shadows, and I know there's something else, but I can't think of it off the cuff.
Sorry I've not been around much. I just get busy sometimes with work and then when I come home I'm tired and have limited time before I have to go to bed and do this all again the next day.
