I've read the first 3 books, but haven't found the rest yet. I'm hoping they'll bring the tv series to Australia..it'd be cool to see how they adapt it. YOU CAN WATCH IT ON http://abcfamily.go.com/watchThe show is good so far i was amazed at how much they were able to put in 1 episode. They changed a few minor things. Like what the girls were doing the night Alison went missing, and what Hanna steals, stuff like that. But the points were still there.

The first book that corresponds with True Blood was realized in 2001- ish. And the vamp vs were thing totally predates SM. Authors have been writing about vamps and weres and the supernatural way before she was even born. So annoying.
Oh my gosh tell me about it. Some people are just stupid, and when they make lame ass remarks like that I love to just burst out in uncontrollable fake exaggerated laughter, if they ask why I'm laughing I usually say something like "At you" or "you wouldn't get it" and then just leave them there stunned and confused. I used to argue the point until I realized with people like that there's no point in arguing a point.

I love the Twilight books. But I HATE how everyone compares everything to it though. SM didn't come up with Vampires or Werewolves. Nor Forbidden Romance for that matter. Ppl need to srsly get the F*** over it and move on. I don't even understand why the hell everything is being compared to Twilight. It's not like twilight was the first vampire/werewolve book ever released. It's ridiculous. I still haven't read Hex Hall. I haven't even made it past the 4th chapter in Eclipse yet. I read Winter's Passage earlier today. It's the ebook that is set in between The Iron King and The Iron Daughter.

Thanks Jill I finished Succubus Shadows this morning and I'm moving onto 'Somebody's Crying' by Maureen McCarthy. I've heard it's like a Melina Marchetta novel, so I'm really looking forward to it

I started to read Hex Hall but lost interest. I wasn't in the mood to read paranormal stuff at the time and read Hunger Games instead. I'm still on my sci-fi/dystopian kick right now, but I think I'll give Hex Hall a shot another time. How did you like it? I only read the first chapter. Yesterday I got a box of books I ordered from Barnes and Noble. I'm kinda pissed because one of the books I really wanted came damaged. It wasn't badly damaged or anything, but enough to tick me off. I need to go return it or get it exchanged or something because I still really want that book. Anyway, I got Demon Princess: Reign Check and started reading it last night. So far I'm loving it. I also got Passing Strange and Maria V. Snyder's Glass series. I don't know when I'll read Passing Strange though because I haven't finished Kiss of Life yet (*cries* it hurts too much).

| I loved Fallen! Torment the sequel will be out September 28th. I also loved Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater! Such a good book. Can't wait for Linger to come out July 20th The last book I read was Hush, Hush a few days ago. It was really good. I have The Dark Diving sitting on my shelf that I need to read. It's due back at the library on Tuesday so I guess I should get it read soon...I just haven't been in much of a reading mood since reading Hush, Hush. And LOL Tasha. Gotta love dreams like that. Oh I also just read The Secret Short Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer. It was good. I didn't think it would be that good but I liked it and I loved Bree! And srsly HATE Jane and The Volturi even more now. | |

| Here is a description about Shiver without giving too much away:
For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf—her wolf—is a chilling presence she can't seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human... until the cold makes him shift back again.
Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human—or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.
I highly recomend it. | |

| After a bit of a drought, I've got some books that I can start reading now. I've recently picked up (with 25% off sale!) Burned (HON series). I'm only about 5 or 6 chapters in. So far it's OK.
On the horizon, I have: Kiss of Death (Morganville series), Passing Strange (Generation Dead series), The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, and The Reckoning (Kelley Armstrong). Kiss of Death I got for free because Chapters had a deal of "Buy 3 get 1 Free". It was the cheapest of the ones I bought. Bonus all the same!
