What are you currently reading?

My professor tried to make me read that book. Lol. We had small presentations in pairs to either read a book or a watch a movie and apply it to the workplace. She wanted me to do the book ( freakonomics) because she knows im an avid reader. But i was like ahhhhh no thanks. hehe

I'm reading absolutely nothing. Lol. I read the Van Alan Legacy finally and finally read the fourth PJO book( still have to get the 5th book but Im flat broke lol) . I think I'm going to give SB a re-read.

Okay, I just finshed Kiss of Life and it was so good.

Now I'm going to read The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong.

Ahh the Reckoning is good. I hate how Kelley is going to continue the series with new characters instead of the current ones. Maybe one day she'll have them cross eachother.

I'm currently not reading anything but I have quite a few books from the Library and 2 more to pick up.-Fallen, Graceling, Radiant Shadows, The Iron King, and Hex Hall. I'll most likely read RS tomorrow.

I want to get The Iron King. But everytime I go shopping for books I end up getting something different.

Finished Persuasion this morning and I have to say it's my fave Jane Austen. I can't tell if that's because it's the last one I'll have to read for my course, the last Austen I needed to read to complete them all, or if I just liked the plot. I did like all the romantic messages and ideas of hope though, so I think that was more it than just getting it out of the way

Now I can finally start reading fun books at night. The problem is: do I read something I've read before or start something new? If I start something new then I'll have less new things to read while I'm away...but sometimes new books are really tempting. Tricky decisions.

Maybe you could get a few new books and reread a few favs. It'd give you a nice mix.

I need some good books to read. Im rereading the Vamp Academy series now, then I'll reread the City of Bones series.
I really want a new book though. I want to experience that shocked feeling you just cant get when reading a book youve already read.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

What sort of books are you into? Fantasy? Real Life?
I love that feeling you get when reading new books. Everything's a surprise. (not that re-reading them isn't good either, but it's definitely not the same).

Looking for Alibrandi/Saving Francesca/On the Jellicoe Road - Melina Marchetta (my all time favourite Australian author!)

I like fantasy. Stuff like VA, the mortal instruments, hush hush, Uglies, the Hunger Games, and Wicked. Those are some of my favorites.

I finally finished reading Radiant Shadows and it is my fav in the Wicked Lovely series by far! Can't wait for the final book to come out! Tomorrow I will start reafing Fallen.

I'm like half way through Spells. After that I don't know what I'm gonna read but I might get the third Generation Dead Book (Out 6/1) and read that one. But I have seven other books I want to read.

Decided to read Eclipse since to the movie is coming out soon.

I was thinking about re-reading eclipse. I think I may read a chapter or 2 a day while reading other books. I'm gonna start Fallen sometime today (hopefully)

One of the house-staff gave me a book to read that she just previously read. She said its alot like the way we are now, but 100s of years back
Its called 'The Secret Countess' by Eva Ibbotson

I've never heard of it. I looked it up on barnesandnoble.com but the only one I found that came close was The Countess Below The Stairs.

I finshed Spells today. So now I'm starting to read Passing Strange by Daniel Waters. It's the 3rd book in the Generation Dead series.

Ah!! I forgot that GenDead 3 was coming out!! I sorta stopped reading after I read SB. I need to go get it!!! Maybe tomorrow.

I have Spells, but I haven't read it yet. Is it any good? Better than Wings?

Why didn't you like Fallen? My library request for it just came through after ages.
At least I won't be charged for it.

Finished reading Fallen a few hrs ago. It's not my fav and it kind of took forever to get some info out about what the hell was going on and even though they didn't tell everything, I still liked it. I'll definitely read Torment when it comes out in September. I like the storyline and want to find out what secret(s) they are all keeping from Luce. The ending left me a little confused about Daniel and Cam. Hopefully Torment will be faster paced with more answers than questions.

I'm going to start reading Graceling here in a bit.

Oh and BTW I loved Spells. It's as good as Wings. Still debating on if it's actually better or not. But if you don't like Wings I doubt you'll like Spells.

Spells was good. I think I like Wings better but It is a must read.

As for Gen DEad 3rd book.... it's a bit confusing right now but hopefully it gets better.

I liked Fallen, but I agree with Wilda...it was a little slow paced, and it took forever to find out what the hell was going on

I searched your "Secret Countess" book in an Australian store's online database and found it. Sounds really interesting.
