What are you currently reading?

I'm reading Hourglass by Claudia Gray.

I just got done reading books 7-10 in the Private series. I'm currently reading Sweet Little Lies (the 2nd LA Candy book by Lauren Conrad). It's by far not my fav series but it's a easy read and is helping take up some time until the books I'm waiting on come in at the library.

I'm reading Vampire Diaries The Return : Shadow Souls by L.J. Smith.

I'm reading Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.
Never did get through Lover Avenged... I plan to finish it by April 27th in any case. BC has me sidetracked for the time being.

I have finally read Virgil's farewell epic, The Aeneid, at long last!
I still feel i might have to question the methods of caring that Aeneas' immortal mum would take, for the most part[granted, Aeneas already questioned his mum's methods, more times than not, but i still feel i have to do likewise!]
At least i know for sure that even the Olympian Love + Lust Goddess has to have some sort of heart, somewhere, right?
Now if only i could feel that i don't have to ask too many questions about the Olympian Gods when it comes to whatever illegitimate half-mortal children they have, though. XD

Ashley, what do you think on predicaments like that?

I'm on the last 20 pages of Repossession Mambo then I'm going to start Succubus Shadows its at my house calling for me bu I'm not home T_T then the 6th Sookie Stackhouse book

Started Sense and Sensibility for uni yesterday, not really in time to answer my homework questions for this week, but I've managed to BS my way through it this time

Finally made it to the third millenium book. The girl who kicked the hornet's nest

Just started Succubus Shadows would have started it lat week but I wasn't home all week when it came T_T

Still lucky though...Credit Card-less Me will have to wait until it's officially released in Australia (unless I manage to bribe my sister into getting it for me)...Good think I don't have the time to read it just yet, otherwise I might go mental.

I just finished Succubus Shadows today! OMG OMG OMG!! That's all I have to say. I will shut up now because I don't want to spoil. Plus, the discussion is for the other thread.

So now, I will go back to finishing Tempted in the HON series.

I'm currently reading Beautiful Creatures (still). I picked up The Dark Divine by Bree Despain (LOVED IT!!) which sidetracked me from BC which first sidetracked me from finishing Lover Avenged. After I finish BC I'm going to go back to LAv. That is... if I don't get sidetracked again.

Ok I just finished reading The Unwritten Rule by Elizabeth Scott.

Hell... I'm never going to finish Beautiful Creatures OR Lover Avenged at this rate.

I have finally finished The Aeneid, at long last!
Now i am going to see if i can deal with The City of Bones, to see if i can uncover more hidden secrets of the outside world, as they seem to be scattered in literature, lately.

[That, and to go and see if i can stand a Yaoi pairing!]

I am going to move fast, and read as much as possible, before i hit the public library, this week, once more.

In any rate, how are you holding up on the books you are reading?

I finished Tempted from the HON series. (I can finally read that thread now and not worry about spoilers!) and I've started The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong. It's the sequel to "The Summoning". It's about supernatural kids. The heroine is a necromancer (like Anita Blake, but not quite). Her cohorts include a demi-demon, sorcerer, witch and werewolf. It's kinda cool.

Next up I have to choose between the first of the Percy Jackson books, or Shadow Souls by LJ Smith.

I've been re-reading the VA series again. I just started Shadow Kiss this morning. once I finish Blood promise I'm going to attempt to read the books I bought 2 months ago. There's about 7 of them but I can't decide which one to read first.

Tempted and The Awakening are good books.

If I had to choose between Percy Jackson or Shadow Souls, it would be Shadow Souls. I finished it last week and OMG, I couldn't beleive the ending but I won't ruin it for you.

I just started Shiver. Then I have three books to choose from on what to read next: Winged, Generation Dead, or Hush, Hush. Decisions, decisions. ???????

darkangel - I highly recommend Generation Dead. I had a ball with those two books. I can't wait for the next one to come out I believe in May or June. For the most part it's light, but I have had my emotions touched too. I'll say no more so as not to ruin/spoil.

Thanks for the suggestion, btw. I likely will read Shadow Souls. I've been waiting a while for that book.

I finished Hourglass by Claudia Gray and On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta over the weekend.
On the Jellicoe Road was absolutely fantastic! I recommend it (and all Melina Marchetta book)
