| I didn't think I would enjoy reading about evil unicorns neither Tasha but I actually did. I was very skeptical about reading it but I'm really glad I gave it a try cause I ended up liking the book. It's not my fav, far from it but it was worth reading imo. You never knwo how you will like something until you give it a try. | |

Lover Avenged is book 7 in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward and is about warrior vampires who defend their race by protecting civilian vampires and hunting lessers - soulless humans that slay vampires. The vampires are the good guys in this series. There's more about the books here: http://www.jrward.com/bdb/index-books.html#darkloverDark Lover is book one of the series and is about Wrath, the last purebred vampire and king. My favorites in the series are Lover Awakened, Lover Revealed, and Lover Unbound, but I've really enjoyed all of them. I especially can't wait for Lover Mine to release!! It comes out April 27th, a day after my birthday!! I know what I'm getting!!

| I just finished reading Demon Princess by Michelle Rowan....sort of gave up on The Sweet Far Thing, I can't bring myself to get into it...I think it's because a year ago I read a major spoiler so I'm not getting as excited about it. Going to start Mansfield Park tonight. | |

| Demon Princess is about a 16 yr old girl finding out she's..well, a Demon Princess and trying to deal with it. The Sweet Far Thing is the third book in the Gemma Doyle trilogy about a girl having the power to enter another realm in the 1890's and changing because of magic. | |

I actually really liked it even though it was so easy to figure out. I liked Michael. He's hot. I'm planning on reading the next in the series. I think it comes out in May.

You should!! I absolutely love this series. I have mad love for the Cop. And a character named John Matthew has my heart. ♥ He's adorable. Lover Mine is JM's story. Each book centers on different characters, but you see the old characters as well.

I don't know of very many single books because it seems like everyone these days is writing trilogy or longer series (also because I prefer reading series books). But as for must reads, I think everyone MUST read The Hunger Games. You'll be glad it's not a single novel. Other Must Reads:The Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead (I'm always trying to get more people to read this series because it's so awesome and way underrated) The Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward (because it rules!!) On my TBR list I've got:A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray A Season of Eden by JM Warwick Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl - own Boneshaker by Cherie Priest - own Covet (#1 in the Fallen Angels series) by JR Ward - own Dear John by Nicholas Sparks - own Generation Dead: Kiss of Life by Daniel Waters - own Glass Houses (Morganville Vampires) by Rachel Caine Going Bovine by Libba Bray - own Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld - own Looking For Alaska by John Green Paper Towns by John Green - own The Everafter by Amy Huntley - own The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan - own The Hollow by Jessica Verday The Iron King by Julie Kagawa Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher - own Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler Wherever Nina Lies by Lynn Weingarten Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston Series TBRThe Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon The Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter Books that haven't released yet that I plan to read:Lover Mine (#8 in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series) by JR Ward - releases April 27 Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead - May 18 Demon Princess: Reign Check by Michelle Rowen - releases May 25 Generation Dead: Passing Strange by Daniel Waters - releases June 1st Linger (Shiver series) by Maggie Stiefvater - releases July 20 Mockingjay (#3 in the Hunger Games series) by Suzanne Collins - releases August 24 Pegasus by Robin Mckinley - releases November 2nd Crave (#2 in the Fallen Angels series) by JR Ward - release TBA VA6 - release TBA

| Oh ya'll, most of those books are on my list too! lol
I just want to say I haven't gotten into Richelle's other series. I want too. But Vampire Academy is the only series that actually drives me crazy with the wait for the next book. I have a feeling her other series will be the same way. I don't know if i can handle that. Lol. So i'll just wait until the series are complete to pick them up.

You guys should read the Succubus and Dark Swan series!! They're both really good. I loved the first couple books in Georgina's series, but after reading Succubus Heat and then reading Thorn Queen soon after, I've gotta say. Eugenie really takes the cake for me. I LOVE Eugenie and Dorian!! Yeah, I still really like the Succubus series, but right now I'm so excited for more Eugenie. After VA, Dark Swan is my favorite, but Succubus still makes the top three. It's at least worth checking out because if you love VA, you should like Georgina and Eugenie. They're like VA. Only sexier. There will be six books in the Georgina Kincaid series. And there are four planned for the Dark Swan series.

| I can't make lists of books I want to read because as I'm doing them I always look up the author/book topic and then find related ones and my list becomes a hundred pages long and I forget which ones I wanted the most and become all confused.
Though I saw a couple of books in Target yesterday which looked pretty cool (one being you 'The Iron King', Ash) so I'm going to keep them in mind for when I have money and time to spare.

This is why making a shelfari would be helpful. Do it... you know you want to!! Here's my shelf: http://www.shelfari.com/o1514552585/shelf#firstBook=0&list=2&sort=dateaddedIt helps me keep track of all of the books I own/have read/plan to read/on my wish list/etc. Nowadays after I finish a book I immediately get onto my shelfari and note the date I finished reading it. Yes. The Iron King is on my list. I plan to read it soon!! I'm actually quite excited about it. And the cover is pretty.

Yeah, The Iron King does have a pretty cover...or at least the copy I saw did. I have no idea if it was the US, UK or a Universal cover.

I actually really liked it even though it was so easy to figure out. I liked Michael. He's hot. I'm planning on reading the next in the series. I think it comes out in May. I didn't mind it, but I thought it could have been better. It had so much potential but was just too simple...predictible. But I know I'll end up getting the next one too, because I can't leave it there Hey take a look at the new cover for Demon Princess: Reign Check!! Looks awesome!! http://www.michellerowen.com/2010/02/27/new-us-cover-for-reign-check/Yeah I'm going to read it too even though it's so predictable. But it'll be good summer reading. And this morning I found out about a book called Voices of Dragons that's coming out in March. First chapter is here: http://files.harpercollins.com/OMM/Childrens/PDF/VoicesofDragons.pdfLooks good. It's going on my list. - Wilda85 wrote:

I carry around a pen (but somehow always forget to have paper) because whenever I'm out and hear a song I like but don't know the name or artist I write down as many of the lyrics as I can so that I can find it online when I get home. But since I'm always forgetting to bring paper with me I end up walking around with song lyrics written on my arms. It also helps to have a pen in your purse when you've got a number of books you want to add to your list. I jot down authors and titles occasionally when I'm at the bookstore, but I frequently buy my books online so this doesn't come up quite so often.

| checking out the cover as I type...ooo, shiny. Although Michelle Rowen reckons Australia will get the other cover, so it's bright pink cover for me...at least it'll sort of match the bright blue one of the first.
I do the same thing with songs only usually I type the lyrics in a message on my phone and save it so I don't get pen everywhere. (also, no need to worry about not having paper)
