| I have read City of Bones. That's the first of the Mortal Instruments series, right? It was enjoyable. I'm still reading The Harlequin by LKH. I'm a bit of a slow reader. And yes, I'm still confused. All these creatures and men are hard to keep track of! | |

| Lol, i always have a hard time keeping track of characters too.. what i struggle with is series that have a blood line sorta of thing. I'm always so grateful when authors have an index of a list of that stuff. lol I can be quite slow sometimes but i think its really my bad memory. lol. | |

You don't have to stop all discussion about the series. There is a thread for HON here. I would love to join in there once I've got caught up.

If you want the thread, you can go ahead and start one. I just don't feel that I could participate fully given that I'm not finished reading the whole series of HON, and I've been jumping around with Anita Blake. Reading this 15th book is only the 3rd of that particular series for me. I would need to read more of the earlier books to be able to discuss with any intelligence those two 'worlds'. Alright, Dancer, i already had the thread placed, already.

| I absolutely loved the sookie stackhouse series. I am pretty sure i finished each one in three days tops. And actually i dont know if this will really appeal to anyone but i feel like i have read so many vampire books that i started experimenting with different types of books. They are kind of morbid but Ellen Hopkins is a great author, she writes stories about kids and teenagers that are troubled. Sufering from drug abuse, sexual abuse, neglect and so on. Although i do have to admit i cant read too much of her in one sitting otherwise i get depressed. But then i also started reading romances (teen romances mind you) and i have come across a few that are good. Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles was good and i am just starting Leaving Paradise by her...
Hope this helps. | |

| I just got done reading it yesterday and have a question before I start reading the next one is Ink Exchange strictly about Leslie? Are Aislinn and Seth in it at all? cause when i read what its about, it made me not want to read it. I know the third is back to being about Aislinn and Seth... | |

| Ash and Seth are in Ink Exchange, but it's told from Leslie's POV. (with a bit from Niall) And it's a really good book. Melissa has written the books so that you don't have to read them in order (or read certain ones at all), but it's just as good as WL...but yeah, Fragile Eternity takes it back up with Seth and Ash. | |

I thought the tatt was a bit ridiculous too, and I love those moments when you get so caught up in the story you yell at the characters. lol - Quote :

I read IE. It was good. Gotta say I was pretty proud of Leslie at the end of the book. I started reading FE but I'm just kinda burned out on reading. I'm gonna take a 24 hr break and pick it back up tomorrow. maybe I'll be more into it then.

| I'm currently taking a 3 day hiatus since it's valentines. I spend more time with my books than my honey. So this is his time. Although I still can't stay away from this forum, it's nearly as addicting as my reading and I def, cant stay away from my writing when my muse hits, which it has been lately. There for I don't get much sleep at night. | |

| I just finished The House of Mirrors (Ulysses Moore, Book 3), this is a children book, but i like it. This book was about three kids who try to search keys to open the mysterious doors that can bring them to other world... | |

Lol Jill. That was part of my VDAY conditions. No reading and no facebook. But he failed to specify about no shadow bite so i did log in yesterday. And i admire your dedication. I took over a year hiatus from writing my poetry and journal entries because at night time is when i feel inspired or things pop in my head.. but i would just make a mental note to write it down tomorrow and go to sleep. And when i wake up, i can't remember anything. Recently I've been forcing myself to break that habit. I had my bf laughing because i spent a good ten minutes adjusting my pillows and the blanket and finding a position. I said GOODNIGHT and was so happy about to fall asleep then BAM a poem hit me. I started cursing soooo much. I got up and grabbed my notebook and pen and i was happy i was writing but i was doing it with a pout. lol.

| I'm eager to read my next maximum ride book but don't know if I'm ready for that level of commitment, becasue I still ahve a list of things to get done. I'm afraid I'll get to distracted and those books are extremely long averaging about 120-140 chapters a book. | |

Yup a good majority of inspiration comes to me at night and yeah I have to get it out of my head and onto paper or my comp. or else I'll just lay awake forever thinking about it. Problem is once I get started it's hard to stop sometimes then next thing I know it's two in the morning and I have to be ready for work by 7. I've been trying to discipline myself better lately but I do go through my insomnia spouts they usually last a month then for the next few months I sleep like normal. It comes and goes in waves. I've been this was since I was really little like 7 or 8 years old. My brother is the same way as me, I think it's either hereditary, or the fact that we are just artists. He writes a lot of poetry much of which is published, it's kind of dark though. He really has a gift. He also does murals and is Dj/ musician so well he's got it worse than me. Most of the time I feel sorry for him. I just write or sketch. LOL sometimes with a pout.

| I just finished reading Rampant over the weekend and The 2 books from the Evernight Academy series-Evernight and Stargazer on Mon and Tues. EA isn't the best series but it was pretty good. I enjoyed them. Rampant was interesting. It's about unicorn hunters. There are like 5 different types of unicorns ranging from ones the size of mini ponies to the size of Elephants. And they are not the sweet creatures I grew up loving. These are man-eating monsters lol. It was a good read though I enjoyed it I'm fixing to start reading the 3rd Immortal book Shadowland. | |

| I'm *still* reading Lover Avenged. Gah. I haven't been into reading these past few weeks but I think now I'm ready to get back into it. Next I plan on reading The Iron King by Julie Kagawa and I might also take a look at the Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter. | |
