| Hmmm, I've read so many books this past week idk where to begin. I did have one book that pissed me off to the point that I couldn't finish reading it. It's called The Chosen One idr who the author is but its about a 13 yr old girl who lives in this community that is seperate from well our world. Her father has 3 wives and like 17 kids and 2 more on the way. She gets chosen to marry her 60 yr old unkle. Sick right? Yeah well, thtas not the worst part, the way they treat woman and what her unkle did to her youngest sister who is only 8 months old btw, simply because she cried with the whatever he is called at their house. He MADE her mother hold the baby's mouth and nose and dunk her in ice cold water. The baby almost died!! And he kept telling the women not to speak unless spoken to. Her father didn't treat the woman that way but most of the men did. It just pissed me off. I tried to read it all the way through to find out what happens. I did read the last page so apparently she escapes and runs away. but yeah I couldn't even finish the damn book. Recently read Keys to the Repository, The Good The Bad and The Undead (Rachel Morgan series 2), and Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs. All were pretty good. I really like the Rachel Morgan Series by Kim Harrison. I'm going to start reading Linger sometime today | |

| Just finished reading Linger. Now I'm all sad and emotional. I hate having to wait a yr before finding out how Sam and Grace's story will end.
I guess I will read Ballad or Hunting Ground next.

| HON is nowhere near as good as VA but I personally love the series. I was halfway through the first book before I started liking it though. Like you I've heard both good and bad reviews. More bad than good. You should definitely check the series out. read the first book all the way before deciding if you liek it or not. I almost put it down and I'm so glad I didn't.
btw I love the Soul Screamers series. I haven't gotten around to reading My Soul To Keep yet. I may pick it up this weekend. Is it as good as the first 2? Have you read the prequel online? oh and the 4th book My Soul To Steal come sout Jan. 1 in case you didn't know.

Thanks, I'll buy the first one in the kindle version to try!!! =) ..here in Europe the books are more expensive and the delivery too...so I just discover the kindle version for my MAC and start buying in $ and without delivery fees... and the best of the kindle version is that in less than one minute you have it in your computer or device About Soul Screamers series.. the third one is as good as the others... and the story is getting more interesting ... I didnt read the prequeal on.line but i will... its just that january is so far and I'll read it in the next months... maybe starting the re-reading of the three books (I usually re-re-re-re-read all the good books and also if i'm going to read a sequel) althought there are a lot of sequels coming this fall I can't wait for the final book in the VA series...

If I understand correctly KINDLE is the AMAZON e-book format, and I think NOOK is the one from Barnes & Nobles.
As I see in the AMAZON store the kindle version of a book is a little bit expensive of the paperback, so if you lives in USA and get the free shipping (for orders over $25) or the 4x3 sale is better to continue ordering the paperbacks...but if you wanted the book inmediatly in a portable device buying the kindle version is better.

| I've just finished Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging, the first book in the Confessions of Georgia Nicolsen Series, by Louisee Rennison. It was pretty good, but alas, it was complete also complete trash. I really need to find some more good literature. I'm now almost finished the second one, On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God.
I also recently finished Iron King, and Iron Daughter, the first two books in the Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa. Those were extremely good books, even though they're about faeries. The third book, Iron Queen, comes out in February.
I am also half way through Shadow Kiss, again. The spine on it is so deteriorated because I've read it so much. Probably at least seven times.

I bought the Iron King a few weeks ago and plan on reading it soon. I'm glad they're good books. Are you not a fan of Faerie books?

| I've read the Iron King but haven't read the Iron Daughter yet. Have you read Winter's Passage? It's a novella set in between the first 2 books. It's really good and worth the read.
I started reading Ballad but found myself confused and then found out Ballad is book 2 not book 1 so I have to wait until i get Lament to read Ballad. I'm picking up the rest of the Rachel morgan series at the library today. So for the next few weeks I'll be reading books 3-8. I'm really happy that I get to read them all back to back.
btw has anyone read Mockingjay yet??
