Starting Crescendo today
Christy, you can always order Torment online. I'm number 2 on the waiting list at the library for it. Can't wait to get it in my hands!
Brissa, Blue Moon is the 2nd book in The Immortals series by Alyson Noel. What's Cresendo like compared to hush hush?

I liked it better. I managed to read it quicker than Hush Hush. it's still not my fave series, but it was definitely a bit more enjoyable.

She's related to the nephilim Patch used in the past, but I don't think Patch was the fallen angel who sired her nephilim relative...if that makes sense.

I don't know where I got that idea from. It didn't say anywhere that Patch ever sired a Nephilim did it? Because for some reason I thought he did. But it's been a long time since I've read that book and I got through it in about two days. Either way, I felt weird about Nora's and Patch's relationship anyway. He was so abusive to her and she liked that? lol Masochist. Patch wasn't that sexy.

| I didn't bother rereading Hush Hush...there were parts I sort of couldn't remember while reading Crescendo, but like you I wasn't up for reading Hush Hush again.
Finished 'Need' this morning. It was an alright book. A little slow to get into and not nearly developed enough...there were characters that just seemed to pop into the story out of no where. And the ending was sort of lame. But there's a sequel so I'll have to look out for it. I don't think I'll go out of my way to buy it though...I waited until I found 'Need' for $2.95 so I'll wait a bit for book 2.
I think I'm going to read 'Immotal Beloved' next.

| I actually haven't started Crescendo yet. I've gotten into a project that I'm working on instead. But I plan on starting it today or tomorrow.
I haven't read that Heavenly series yet but its on my tbr list. I heard about it through a bunch of giveaways that was just going on through some blogs.

| Currently reading 'The Horus Throne' by Patricia L. O'Neill. It's a pretty good book so far. I won a free copy off facebook. I was worried about reading it because it's the 2nd in a trilogy and I don't own the first. But the publishers assured me in twitter that they don't need to be read in order. It goes against my nature to read the books out of order, but I feel I should tell them how I like the book.

| I'm halfway through Crescendo. So far I like it but I liked Hush Hush too. It's not one of my fav series but I enjoy it nonetheless. I'll finish it up today. EDIT: Just finished reading Crescendo. The ending...Wow. I hate not knowing what is going to happen. Don't read the spoiler if you haven't read Crescendo - Spoiler:
Will Nora ever catch a break? I mean srsly from the moment she turned 16 it's been non stop death threats and betrayals. She did piss me off though I can't blame her for how she was feeling and all. She was confused and hurt and didn't know who to trust. The moment Rixon told her that Patch was the Black Hand and that he was still her Guardian that he was behind it all. Why else would he lie to her? Even though nora wasn't sure about him being her Guardian, I knew he wasn't as soon as she said those words and he asked to she was sure. I feel bad for her. Finding out her dad wasn't her biological dad and that her sister is Marcie of all people. That her mom had been having an afair with him, etc. Thats rough. The girl just can't catch a damn break can she?

Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men Wilda, (Crescendo Spoilers) - Spoiler:
I agree. Nora seems to go from one bad thing to another. I was sort of sad scott left. Once we found out he wasn't that bad it would have been cool to have another nephilim around...but I guess there's chances for him to pop up again in the future. The whole marcie thing sort of annoyed me. I didn't mind that she was Nora's sister, but she just seemed to pop up out of the blue. And then Patch was all over her because he thought that was better than being with Nora, it just wasn't right.

I agree. I wanted to punch him. I know she broke up with him, but Marcie above all people? He knew how she feels about her. I'm sad Scott left too. In the end I did like him. I think Nora could use all the protection she could get but I do have a feeling he'll be back. Tempest comes out next fall. I hate having to wait a yr inbetween the releases. By then I'll need to reread both books. And idk if I'm willing to do that.

I know! Marcie was not the right one to go to. I mean, I know she was in need of protection too, but he didn't have to go after her romantically...or sexually at least. I won't bother reading them again...I wasn't drawn into it enough to care. I'll just read the new one and hope I'm not missing anything important.
