I started to buy Awakened today. I saw it for $10 at a store but figured I'd wait until I read all the library books I still have. I did however look at the last few lines of the book. Didn't really reveal much but I'll put it in a spoiler in case you don't want to read it

Yeah, i mostly read the series for Stevie Rae and Stark. And the last two books Aphrodite. I dont like zoey at all. I dont think shes even worthy of the guys obsessed with her. The plot is becoming redundant too, zoey always ends up saving the world, and gets a new tattoo. puh please. Yet still, my ocd, i will read the series until the end because i just want to know what happens. The story really has a lot of potential. If written by someone else, i think the main story plot could of been epic. But as it is, it's just my ocd keeping me reading. It will nag me if i dont finish reading. I'm going to start re-reading the series today. Though like always, i skip t he first book. That book was the worst in my opinion. lol.

Like i requested, they should transform her into a badass or just kill her off, at this point.

Being that she is the Main character, I srsly doubt they will kill her off. I'm hoping in Awakened that she'll do some changing. I'm tired of everyone saving her ass. It gotten old. I'm ready for Zoey to truely become the Heroin they've made her out to be.

There's always the Kill 'em all option, if Redbird can't even be badass.

I love it, especially Stark. It's extremely niave and immature; next to VA. It is more sexual or whatever you say as well. I think Stark is really hot and awesome.

I hate how near the end Nyx puts Heath in Neferet's vesel. It will mess up Zoey's relationship with Stark because she loves Heath and I dont like that. She should be with Stark, get rid of Kalona and Neferet. the end.

Couldn't agree more! It's all about zoey being the person who will save the world and everyones fighting against her, but she needs aaaaall of her friends to help her. It's getting old... And I used to love the book, but now I find it kinda stupid. I'll buy awakened though...

And, I bought Last sacrifice and burned in christmas. I finished with last sacrifice in two days and then I was like "I have to read that too now?" Compared to VA, it's nothing... It doesn't even exist....

I really wish I wouldn't have read that spoiler. I wasn't thinking when I continued cause it wasn't in the spoiler tab where you have to click to read it. Next time, could you please click on the tab that says others and then click on spoiler so others don't make the same mistake I did.

Honestly, I don't think she ever does... And, even if she does, don't expect her to be anything close to Rose...

I wouldn't, i would just expect Redbird to be more tolerable rather than stay someone STOMP-FIGHT-Worthy insofar as being on the receiving end of the fight.

Well, i liked the 7th book Burned because zoey was a minor character in. The other characters really got to shine. I hope the 8th book Awakened follows the format. I'm slowly re-reading the series. I just finished the first book Marked last night. It took me a week to get through it. It's my least favorite one of the series. Which u can tell from how long it took me to read it lol. I started the second book Betrayed last night. But i'm not reading much faster. As soon as they mentioned Loren i started detaching from the reading. I think the re-reading of the series isn't that good of an idea. The stuff i dont like is even more un-likable with a re-read.

I took the awesome liberty of adding Bella, Edward, and Zoey Redbird on the list of Great Villains!

Anyone else you feel must be added on the list?

Also, why not just get Redbird to be a real badass or just send her to Tartarus?

I still don't expect her to be like Rose, i am just expecting her to be tolerable and someone you are not supposed to castrate for the castration gods.

I'm up the 6th book in my re-reading of the series. And i must say- i still think Zoey doesn't deserve Stark but i heart Stark so much i want them to be together for his sake.

Stark is amazing and awesome and all but I don't think that Jack and Damien and Duchess get enough credit

am half way tru the book (awakened) and come on.. if zoe dont end up with stark am going to shoot myself.. he is like the perfect boy for her.. to bad she switch her mind to much..lol
