| I don't remember what actually happened to her dad in the book. Did it ever really say? Because if I remember right she had a step dad, and he was part of the reason she didn't get along with her mother right? Maybe the absence of a paternal figure or lack of a good mother figure has influenced her behavior. I'm no psychologist but the absence of a father does have a negative impact in the emotional development and possibly affect her cognitive development. | |
