House of Night by PC Cast and Kristin Cast

I did read the first novel, and i found that this series managed to do better at being more worthwhile than twilight than Vampire Academy's doing, as it is.

I just want my heart to be used to the fact that not all vamp-induced series have to overuse eye-candy to the point you forget stuff, or go and end up being massively flavorless[in all the wrong ways] just to be meaningful in reading.

In my book! After most the human race is wiped out so will the sub genre vampire race. 2 battles before the ultimate war, of the Gods and Dark Jinn. All hope resting in the hands of a fairy and a leprechaun.

It's undergoing editing right now, I just signed on with my publisher a few months ago.

thanks, it's tough and sometimes I wonder what I got my self into, It took me a year and a half of re writes until I was satisfied enough to even put it out there. I take my ques from people on this forum on things they like and don't like about other books so as not to make that mistake myself. I want to make sure that when it's my time my readers will be happy.

Well, i think your readers will be more than happy because of ^^^. You actually are taking the time and care into it and that definitely will show thru and be appreciated .

So where would the surviving humans fit in?
Would some of the strongest of them end up mating with Immortals who may need the aid of half-mortal children, one day?

What about any witches, wizards, or psychics, left?

The segments of such a legacy...that reminds me of my take on a crossover universe including[but not limiting to!] the Potter-world, P.J.A.T.O, Cirque Du Freak, and even Vampire Academy, except this is better fleshed-out and organized than the results i got, so far, Jill.

who's Aenea?

Jill that was really intriguing and well thought out. Most authors i read tend to leave the historical background slightly unclear and with more questions then answers. But yours is really structured and strong. I have a question about the patent part though. What does that entail. I just asked because I've read different takes on the Nephelim... in an older YA series Daughters of the Moon- but wayyyyyy different take with its basis rooted in Greek mythology and also in newer HON series. So, i was jsut curious about how that affects your patent.

Aeneas is Silena Beauregard's Half-Brother, from the ancient times, who existed during the times of the Trojan War, and who also happens to be the very ancestor for the likes of Julius Caesar and his family, including his nephew, Octavius Caesar.

He led the surviving Trojans to the place where Rome was destined to be built, if i had to add more.

Well I had to develop a few new species of beings for my story line. As their creator I am introducing them to the literary world. I get the official patent in my name for originality. After they become published figures Anyone can draw from them for other stories or story lines, but can not change them without my permission. So say someone else wanted to write a story about my Serrinetti race, they can't change the basic components with out me approving it first. No publisher would publish the story in fear of me sueing. Think about people like SM who can slaughter a story or her characters, well if she did that to one of my creations I'd have her ass handed to me and all her books would be pulled off the shelves and I would be entitled to her earnings.
I didn't do it to make money, I did it for insurance that others don't give my races a bad name or miss use them

That sounds really comforting.. knowing you have that protection of your work. The world and species you created sound really amazing and i would hate for someone to try to ruin it... so hearing about the patent i feel relieved for you.. lol. Well, you were introducing the namesake for the wife of Silena's half-brother[No offense, as i pray i'm not a troll, but please forgive me if i find Aeneas to be a bigger bad-ass than Dimitri is, alright, Jill?] so i had to let you know about that.

If Aeneas really did take the path to immortality, somehow i could imagine him in Byzantine or Medieval Russian armor, in modernized variations, really.

I wonder why in P.J.A.T.O, Aeneas's half-siblings appeared to be going downhill, in badassery, generally speaking?

Apparently, it means we're going to hell, since the conspirators now realized the potential threat that the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series could do, when it comes to ending the reign of the Vampire Sub-Genre, which is why they're filming that, at the same month it's announced that Dreamworks is doing a movie based on the series, Wicked, by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie[apparently either of the two series wants to be a means of counterstriking when it comes to either P.J.A.T.O or The Mortal Instruments, i suspect, if Lord_Loss_17 of Gaia Online is more serious about these matters than i give him credit for, to the point i feel i haven't been giving him enough credit!]

I think pjo has nothing to worry about. There's no way HON story line or lack there of could compete with the pjo series. HOn in may ways reminds me of twilight, it was better written than twilight but not by much, it's the same stupid story line over and over. If they made the movies about stevie rae then maybe they'd be more interseting. I do read the series because I came this far and i plan on finishing it. But really how long can you drag a series out about boy troubles and horny kids. The pedifiles of america and other worldy places will be taking upi 1/2 of the movie theater and the other half will be the twelve year old twilight fan girls. As Adrian Ivoshkov would say Easy pickings for the Pedifiles.

Basically what I'm saying is, is that if they wanted some remote chance of having good reviews they would be better off not having any competition like pjo, because they won't stand a chance.

Too many Vamp-induced series had forgotten the importance of family values, overall, lately, so if The Lightning Thief movie's a hit, i hope a positive difference will be made, after that, aside from the establishment of a new movie series.
