i liked Simon the best. I never really liked Simon all that much. He was a bit more interesting in City of Glass though, because he had a hold on the supernatural world...so I'm hoping I won't be annoyed at City of Fallen Angels because it's in his POV. *fingers crossed*

Yeah i liked simon from the beginging. in the first one he was a little annoying though, and i couldn't help feeling sorry for him through out book two and three, he was like the third wheel or annoying lil brother kinda character. by the last one to date that is I really started getting emotionally attached to simon's character because he was finally his own character and had his own things going on rather than being a secondary character.

| yeah it gets really good. The first time I read the series I sometimes felt like I had to drag myself through parts. It took me a long time to finish the first book, in the end though I'm really glad I read them they are now amongst my favorite for this genre. The series was well thought out and well written. | |

I definitely think the 3rd book is good, although unlike Jill I didn't find any of it dragged. I loved them all the entire way through.

| I really enjoyed this series. I finished it up about 2 weeks ago and according to the website another one City of Fallen Angels will come out in 2011...thats a long time to wait! anyways I couldn't put these books down (although that seems to have happened with every series I've read lately). I can't comment as much as I want b/c I know some ppl haven't read all the books but its definitely a great series and one I would LOVE to see become a movie | |

Yeah, I know, 2011 is a bit of a wait, but at least the prequel series is coming out next year (well... the first one is) - Quote :

most first books have a bit of dragging while you're introduced to the series. But it's definitely hard to not like

| hmmm...apparently I am way behind cosindering this news is from October but MI is definitely being turned into a movie. I have to say I am very excited about this. I just hope they get some great actors who can pull these characters off and the best director to make it worth being a movie! | |

| Cassandra Clare updates most here: http://groups.google.com/group/mortal_instruments?hl=en You can join the group and get all the new information sent directly to you. Only problem is you tend to get EVERYTHING sent to you (meaning, not only Ms. Clare's posts, but all the fan posts too, so you get quite a few emails a day.) But Cassandra gives you little previews from the upcoming books which are definitely needed when waiting for the next instalement. | |

No problem lol, Jill I'm tempted to do the same, especially since if you forget to check your emails for one day you come back the next and there's 100 unnecessary emails in your inbox. Oh well, sometimes it's worth it because of the good updates

| It's sort of easy to miss threads occasionally Luke had to grow on me. I loved him by the end of City of Bones, but I wanted to murder him for a while because he droped Clary so easily (even though later on we find out the real reason for it and have to forgive him for trying to protect Clary) | |
