| Ok. I JUST got done reading the Mortal Instruments series: City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass. I must say this series is phenomenal! I got them done in three days! The plot is amazing! Twists at every turn! It has vampires, demons, werewolves, faeries, warlocks, angels, and Nephilium. This series is really great and I do suggest it!! | |

| And aren't the covers gorgeous? I love them. Probably because they're shiny but I still love them. | |

| I finished City of Bones a few minutes ago and must say I loved it! I tried to buy City of Ashes today but the bookstore didn't have any copies so I've got it on order. - Spoiler:
I thought it was slightly obvious that Clary was going to end up being Valentine's daughter (at least from the moment Hodge said Joclyen and Valentine were married), and it made me slightly excited to think her father was actually alive and was the evil person they were all trying to stop. I was slightly annoyed at finding out Jace and Clary were related though. I think it was an awesome twist and I definitely like the idea of all these family ties and siblings working together, you don't often see that in fantasy novel, but I really wanted them to become an item I was waiting and waiting for them to kiss again and now it's no-longer possible, unless Cassandra Clare throws in another twist somewhere down the track...I suppose I'll find out eventually. At least Jace's tea-leaf reading came true.

| yeah I'm about half way through city of ashes, I like them but they take me longer to read. There are some books that I just can't put down and others that I can pace myself. These ones I can pace myself. Plus I got side tracked with the succubus series. Now that that's all done I'm back to city of ashes. - Spoiler:
I like Jase is humor/ dark sarcasm is funny. I'm at the part right before they go see the queen at the Seely court. I have more thoughts about it, and I'll write more later.

| I found City of Bones to be one of those books I couldn't put down. It would have taken me less that the 4 days it took to read it if I hadn't spent two of those days wandering around the city/watching movies with mum. I can tell I really enjoy this series because I'm all annoyed and excited about getting City of Ashes (annoyed because I have to wait for the order to come in). I'm definitely going to be happy when it arrives. | |

| They're about demon hunters who try to keep the supernatural world at peace, but come across a few...difficulties. (I don't want to say much more than that, don't want to spoil it) They're definitely a good read though.
I started City of Ashes yesterday and I've almost finished it. I'm annoyed at myself for not having City of Glass on hand, but at least it's waiting for me at home.

| That sounds exciting! Maybe that will be my next series :3 (After I finish HoN) Yeah, I know the feeling! When I was in Greece, I only brought Vampire Academy, Frostbite and another book, and left Shadow Kiss at home.. That wasn't very clever :p I was looking forward to get home from our vacation, so I could read SK.. xD | |

| I definitely think you should get it. I haven't caught up on the HoN books yet, I've only read 4 of them. I'm not really as interesting in it as other books.
I'm super glad my friend had a copy of Book 3, so now I can finish the series before I get home. yay.

| Can't wait to hear what you think of it Jill. I finished it on Friday and spent the rest of the day discussing it with a friend of mine. Absolutely adore this series and can't wait for the Prequel series to be released. | |

I know! I was so happy too. I kept thinking "I don't really want to support an incestual sort of thing, but if that's the only way for Clary and Jace to be together then I'm all for incest." But now I can be all happy about it I kind of guessed it too. I can't decide which of the books I like the best and I'm holding out for the Infernal Devices now. So excited.
I actually got so obsessed I started writing a Mortal Instruments fanfiction which is big for me considering I usually only write Harry Potter ones....I kind of surprised myself

| I'm not the best fanfic writer, but I do enjoy it sometimes. To have a continuation of a story and/or have the ability to place your favourite characters into your own situations is fun. It also helps to pass the time and is a good stress release (especially when uni gets to be too much) - Spoiler:
I've decided one of my favourite characters in the series is Valentine. I have this developing soft spot for evil people, not your ordinary bad guy but the master-minds behind fabulously planned out "take over the world" things. I wanted more Valentine moments.

| I went a little "mortal instruments" obsessed last night (more so than usual, which is saying a lot). I found the picture of certain runes from the series (on I think the website dedicated to The Infernal Devices) found the "Fearless" rune and drew it on my arm...then proceeded to do so again this morning (only drawn slightly better than the first time, which is pretty good considering I have no artistic talent at all.) | |
