| Tasha: Glad you guys have someone patrolling your street. Stupid kids... And yeah that might be about all I have to do. It just seems like a lot of work the way they word things. Also, my school likes to give people the run around. For real. Especially for things that seem like they should be easy. I guess we'll see how this goes. Wow. I'm super bored right now. I just finished watching My Girl. I had Chick-fil-A for lunch today and that was like the most epic lunch ever. If the cafeteria place is open tomorrow I know what I'm doing for food. lol I'm almost glad I don't have groceries. | |

| Kim: Heck yeah!! Which reminds me... I'm hungry. Too bad nowhere around here is open. All the good places close at like 5 pm and they're always so crowded during the week that I usually don't bother. Argh. And I'm annoyed now because I'm looking at the food places around here and like none of them are open on the weekends. Wtf are dorm students supposed to eat around here?! | |

| Lol, Ash, that's why you're supposed buy stuff during the week and leave it in your room, chips and lollies and such, then you can snack all night long with no problems On a similar note, I'm also hungry but since it's 2pm, chances are I'll find food. | |

| All this food talk is making me hungry and now I'm craving Chik-Fil-A Tasha-sorry for all the crap that went down but I'm glad they have cops patrolling the area and I hope they find those teenagers and haul their asses in. Maybe they will learn a lesson. | |

| Lol you girls are silly.
I personally can't stand food right now. Part of the hubby's allergy meds are steroids... which has a side affect of hunger. It's like the munchies on crack. He's like "i'm SO hungry" and i'm all like -__- lol.
So it's a high possibility the hubby will be terminating treatment. I'm not a doctor but i've been researching treatments for brain cancer. And apparently there aren't that many alternatives to the medicine he is taking now, the one giving him allergic reactions. There is a regimen of other pills but doctors hardly use them because the side affects are severe from it. And the regular IV chemo has severe side affects as well not to mention that warrants commuting to a facility and what not. I'm so all over the place. I want the hubby to finish treatment but he just cant undergo more allergic reactions. It's been a stressful and draining week for both of us and it seems this months allergy was way worse than last months and I'm scared if he tried to go another round the allergic reaction would become even more severe. We have an appointment with an allergy specialist Friday. And then in two weeks we see his oncologist and he is going for another MRI. So we wont know options until then. But his oncologist is awesome, we trust her completely and i have faith she is smarter than my googling skills.

| Tasha: Yes, definitely see what your Oncologist says first. I can't believe they don't seem to have a way to reduce the reactions, I mean your hubby can't be the only person in history that's had a bad reaction to the meds. I hope you find a way to get him through the treatment. So I was cruising book review blogs (I've started doing that more often these days, I think it's because I started my own) and was on The Story Siren's page looking at her latest post and she got this AWESOME copy of Jessica Shirvington's 'Embrace', seriously, so jealous of it. It came with this letter that Violet (the main character) gets from her mother...I want it! I already own 2 copies of Embrace, but the US version is seriously tempting to buy...although it doesn't come out until March next year and I'll (hopefully) have book 4 by then, so I might have forgotten about the letter It's going to be another sunny/hot day today. I love this warm weather. Hope everyone's having a good day. | |

| Tasha-I agree with Kim and I hope they find a way to get him through it all without the allergy reactions. Kim-Embrace is finally coming out in the US?? YAY! Although being 3 or 4 books behind will suck, I'm happy I'll finally get a chance to read it | |

| Wilda: Yeah, apparently it's not out until March next year though...if you ever decide to use book depository though, they've got the UK version being released in like 20 days. Of course, it wouldn't be hardcover or include the cool letter though | |

| I was looking at Book Depository earlier, hoping to find it, but the only one available is the preorder for the US. Looks like I'm going to have to wait until March : / I'll keep a look out for it though. | |

| Hey ladies. Thanks for all the support. Sorry i've been quiet. I've just been so drained and tired from everything. I'm really wanting to read again but after reading Bloodlines I have had the urge or drive to pick up a story and read it.
Well remember the teenagers that broke in a house on my block and then followed my dad? Well a few days ago, my brother went out to the store with his friend right around locally, and they noticed a car was following them, lights off. So they were like wth. So my brother goes all fast and furious and speeds away and races around the block to come up behind them and it was the teenagers again. When my brother rode up along side them they got scared and put their lights on and sped off. We havent seen them since. Hopefully it stays that way. I"m off house arrest though. Lol. The hubby didnt want me going outside after all of that but his need to eat quickly put that to rest.
Been going through some things with the hubby. He just wants to terminate treatment. Hes been real upset the past couple of days. He doesnt want to be put on a new medication that can make him sicker than he got before. He's fed up with sickness. I'm fed up with it too. But we will have to see whats what at his next appointment.
We went out yesterday. NOt far. But it was the first both of us went out somewhere. We just went to one of my friends house who doesnt live to far. And just bummed around his house. He got a new kitty. So we played with the kitty all day. And lmao we ordered pizza and when the kitty smelled the pizza she went CRAZY. SHe climbed all the way up to my hubby;s neck trying to get to his slice. Mind you, this is a very little kitten , she just started climbing the day before and can't always do it. SHe really wanted that pizza. Lol.
Hope you've all been doing alright!

| Tasha- awe! I want a kitty SO bad but my hubby says no. However he's been outvoted so I'm thinking about going to the spca and seeing about adopting a kitten Glad there hasn't been any more trouble with those teenagers. I can understand why your hubby doesn't want to d treatments anymore. I can't even imagine what its like to go through all that sickness and side effects. He deserves a big break from all that. Tomorrow my hubby, best friend, and I are driving up to Alabama to pick up her boyfriend. It was just going to be me and her on a fun mini roadtrip but my hubby said no b/c he doesn't know her bf and her soon to be ex hubby was an abuser so hes not trusting right now. And I completely understand, so I don't blame him. I'm not worried about the guy hurting either one of us but if it'll make my hubby feel better then so be it. I guess we'll just have to plan a girls road trip some other time. Hope everyone has a great weekend! | |

| Ash- Hope you enjoyed your weekend home I am beyond pissed right now. I preordered If I Die by Rachel Vincent yesterday and recieved an email last night telling me there's a delay and instead of it shipping on the 27th, it won't ship until Oct. 14th so I won't recieve it until 2 weeks after the release date I just got on to cancell that portion of my order but it won't even let me do that even though the email said I could and I don't want to end up with 2 copies like I did with Bloodlines. In other news, the trip to Alabama was fun. Lots of funny interesting conversations went on. My hubby is something else lol Met my best friend's bf and he seems nice. He's got the same kind of sense of humor as my hubby so he fit right on in. Looks like we've finally found a young couple to hang out with Yesterday my hubby and I went golfing with his boss/friend and his gf. That was fun. By the time we got home I was wore out. I barely got 5 hours of sleep the night before after being in the car for 17 hours. I'm still feeling the effects from the trip this morning. Looks like I'll be going to bed early tonight too. Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a good week | |

| sorry for the double post, but I just remembered something else I'm irritated over. Friday is our Anniversary. We've been married for 6 years now and it turns out that my hubby will be in Pennsylvania I'm so upset over this cause he won't actually be working. His boss is going up there to do some stuff and they are going to get some more of the tools they need from his Dad's house where some of his stuff is in storage. I was like "really, you're not going to be here for our anniversary b/c ya'll need to get tools." So yeah I'll be spending my anniversary by myself | |

| *hugs*, Oh Wilda I'm sorry your hubby won't be there. I'll spend the day with you, if you want. It'll be my Saturday and I'll be home alone...we can celebrate your anniversary here! Surprise! Sucks about If I Die, that's crap. If you know the books comes out on a certain date they should make an effort to actually get it out on time. I'm waiting for my copy too, but Book Depo's sent it out already.

| Hey loves!
Wilda- so sorry your hubby is going out of town on ur anniversary. I'll be online Saturday to keep you company like Kim if you want :-)
I hope you all have been well.
Sorry I've been inactive. Unbelievable drama on my end. So the hubby finally gets his "awards letter" from social security and it's utter bull. 49 dollars is his payment. Tomorrow I'm going to have to call and see what we can do about it. We actually went out Saturday, to a friends house and spent the night there. We needed a night out. Then yesterday a relative showed up at my house. He is a dirt bag. The hubby and I just got home from the hospital, he had an appointment. And we both were jacked up cause my bed is breaking, the springs are almost popping through. So we were in pain and had to travel to the appointment and everything...and we had drama with the transportation. So we came home and were trying to relax watch some Supernatural(season 5) when i heard a big bang. It sounded just like last time my dad passed out and fell so i go running downstairs. No one was there so i run to the back deck to check the driveway. I see my cousins cat on their front steps crying by the door to get let back in. They don't let her out. So i figured the bang was the door slamming close and she got let out. So i was running down my back stairs to go to the driveway and open the door for her before she runs away. When my moms relative( they are no family of mine) comes out the door and kicks the cat down the stairs. Then he kicks her again in the driveway and she flew a couple of feet. He went to kick her again and i started screaming at him. He turns around and starts cursing at me and talking trash. So my hubby comes out and is like "wtf". Then he starts cursing and threatening my hubby. He was all like come down here and I'll f you up and things got real crazy. Then my moms relative has a 2 litter soda bottle, full with liquor, and he chucks it at my head. I managed to slap it away. The hubby completely lost it. It was all just so ridiculous. We spent the night searching for my cousins cat cause she ran away. The cherry on it all? Today is my cousins birthday.
We wake up this morning and i'm just battered. I feel sick to my stomach. My dad is sick too so I'm worried. I was supposed to go with a friend. He's taking his new kitty to her first vet appointment. But i feel like poopie and my dad isn't too well i don't wanna leave him home. So i'm probably gunna stay home with the hubby and try to recoup from everything.
We just try to live peaceful, anonymous lifestyles. Yet drama and crazy stuff just keep happening. :-(

| Tasha-awe poor kitty! I'd have completely flipped out and went psycho on his ass. What a d*#%$! Come to think of it, so are the social security people. Thats a load of bull there. I hope you get it sorted out and that he gets more money cause thats just outrageously ridiculous. Sorry you're not feeling good and I hope you and everyone feels better soon! Thanks girls! It's nice to know I have great friends who are willing to spend the day online to make me feel better Good news is you don't have to lol The hubby told his boss that he couldn't go. He didn't want to spend our anniversary apart so he'll be home with me btw Kim, B&N got the delay sorted and shipped If I Die today so it should be here sometime Friday as planned I was even talking to Rachel Vincent on twitter about it this afternoon. I love it when authors take the time and talk to their fans | |

| Tasha: *hugs* I can't imagine how you're feeling. I really hope you get a break soon, all this drama is not cool. We're here for you when you need to vent. Wilda: Aw, yay! I'm gald your hubby's going to be home now! OMG, I'm totally the same way! I love when authors reply to messages. It shows how much they care about fans. I used to favourite every tweet an author sent me (still do for some of them) but I forget when I'm talking to Jana Oliver. She replies so much it's more like a friend now, which is equally as cool And I'm also glad your copy of 'If I Die' is on it's way. Hopefully mine will be here next week, Book Depo said it was sent 2 days ago, so it'll probably be here on Monday or Tuesday. Turned on the tv this morning and A Walk to Remember was playing on one of the movie channels. I was only planning to see what part it was up to, but ended up watching most of the movie...I'd only missed the first 10 minutes. That movie makes me cry every time I watch it. Avoiding most of the internet today. Too many friends are reading 'If I Die' atm, and I don't want to come across any spoilers. Luckily they're all fast readers, so they should be done by tomorrow and everything will be back to normal. Hope everyone's having a good day. | |

| Oh I Love A Walk To Remember! I cry everytime I watch it too. I'm trying to avoid twitter and goodreads until I read If I Die. I didn't realize how many people I follow read the Soul Screamers series until earlier. Then I was like OH! Better get off before something major gets spoiled. Normally a few small spoilers don't bother me, btu I hear If I Die is a super emotional and intense book and I don't want to find something out and then not want to read it. I've had that happen once. Lesson Learned. | |

| Hey everyone. Its been a while since I last logged on. I've been really busy with uni work. So many massive assignments. Got this report due of Friday and I've spent so much time on it lately its messing with my head. The last few days at uni has been interesting. There was a student sit in at uni that was top story on the news on Monday. Some of my friends went but I had to study for my test that day.
Wilda- Happy anniversary for Friday!
It's so annoying when you have to post pone celebrations. My birthday was last week but I don't get to celebrate until this weekend because I've got so much work to get through.
