I had a really scary one last week. One of those repetitive ones when you're told a family member is dead. I think it was last Wednesday. Then I dreamt about failing that awful test I had last week.

Mama mia is playing on tv. I think Pierce Brosnan needs to be in a VA movie.

On waiting for books - I think waiting for HP was good practice.

Crap. My mom just texted me saying my sister fell and may have (has?) internal bleeding in her foot... she's on her way to the emergency. I'm super worried about her and her foot. She is such a klutz. She nearly got a concussion a few months ago during the first week of her summer ballet intensive (the night before auditions for Swan Lake) and is possibly the only person in existence who has legitimately slipped on a banana peel and fallen on her butt. I hope her foot will be alright...

Oh no! I hope your sister is ok. Keep us updated.

Yeah, I'll let you guys know when I find out more. I hope this doesn't set her back with dancing.

Argh I'm trying to chill out and eat my ramen but I'm worried about my sister and that damn paper due on Wed... ugh it's freaking me out for some reason even though it's just a bullsh*t paper (not even going to be graded) but I really can't focus on writing it right now. So I'm trying to watch the VMAs but I really don't care about MTV. I'm only watching to see the HG teaser.

Edit: Ok so her foot was only sprained and it should be fine in a few days. *whew* But still that must really suck, it being the first week.

I'm so glad it's only a sprain. That's still pretty bad and I hope she gets better soon, bad glad there's not internal bleeding.

Yeah, I'm watching the VMAs too, but I'm not paying attention to it too much. I just want to see Hunger games.

OK, so I have had a horrible morning so far. First off, the bus came 10 minutes early causing her to miss it. So I had to take her to school. After dropping her off, I decided to take a shortcut home because the other way was backed up. As in never ending. I wasn't sure exactly which road to turn onto so I got my gps out. It took me out into the middle of nowhere! Constantly recalculating route and making me do u turns and telling em I was off route. I had NO cluse where I was and I was on the edge of a panic attack when I apprently ran a stop sign (thought it was a yield) and got pulled over. The officer then had me get out and go to him which freaked me out. I had my son with me and thought I was getting arrested. He took my liscense and all and then started in on me about the roads over there being stop signs and not yields and that eh had given 15 tickets in 45 mins for running that stop sign. (he was NOT a happy man). I told him surpringly calmly that I had no idea and I had never been over there and that I was lost. He asked me where I was heading so I told him and he whistled cause I apparently was far away from it. He asked me when my last citation was and I told him 2009 when I got my 1 and only ticket and he looked up my record and saw that I was telling the truth. After scalding me about running stop signs and then telling me how to stop at them he gave me directions and let me go with a warning. Once I drove off though, I broke down. Idk how I even managed to stay calm in front of him. I was scared out fo my mind! But yeah, I finally made it home safe and have made a vow to never trust another gps or go a different way other than the ways I know again.

Hopefully everyone's morning/day is better than mine.

I'll be heading off to class in a little bit. Ugh, I'm so tired. I just want it to be the weekend so that I can relax and read Soul Thief.

Everyone else is doing alright?

I've been super busy. With regular chores and housework and errands and administrative doctors and medicine stuff, the hurricane, and the hubby being sick again. And now i'm getting sick. So tired of sickness. But, i'm playing it up a bit , i must admit. Well not really. I'm just staying inside, in pjs cause i dont want to get full blown sick. But my mother is assuming i'm already full blown sick and i didnt correct her lol. She told everyone to leave me alone and told me to stay in my room, I said okayyyy sounds good to me. lol It's nice to have a break. I went out to the store early and got some meds and then i fed the hubby and we've been watching season one of supernatural all day.

I didn't start reading bloodlines yet. I want peace and things in my house just weren't peaceful. Now that things are calm a bit, i may start reading tonight or tomorrow. I just really want to enjoy it and don't want to be bothered while reading it.

This might sound ridiculously stupid, but I need to check. Is 'smh' - "shaking my head" (or something like that) because silly old me instantly wanted to go "Sydney Morning Herald" ... a massive, popular newpaper over here and I didn't think you were referring to that.

Lol , yes Kim. Shaking my head is correct. It took me forever to figure it out when people started using it and i swore i wouldnt use it and now i'm using it too...lol. Text speak is ridiculous ... like i kept seeing 'LML" i was like what the hell is that? Turns out it means laughing mad loud or loving my life. I can't keep up, i feel old. lol.

I'm usually ok at picking up the text speak, I don't use it a lot, but I could if I wanted to, I know the main ones . I had to google the "smh" one though, but I just wanted to check to make sure that was definitely the meaning you were going for.

Sorry you are sick Tasha, but I'm glad you are getting to rest. You deserve it after all you've done for everyone else.

Today was okay until this afternoon. My daughter's bus was one hour late getting home today. I was freaking out cause I couldn't even get ahold of the school. On top of the, a stupid bee thought it would be fun to sting me. Guess the joke is on him cause he can't sting anyone ever again. It's been 1.5 hours and it still stings though :/ I'm scared to see what will happen tomorrow...

Anyway, I'm trying to finish this essay that's due tomorrow. It's supposed to be about my "dream job" and it's sorta pissing me off. It's not even going to be graded and the min word count is 250 words. Ugh. Why is this so hard?!

Ouch, I hope the sting goes away soon. I've never been stung by a bee before, I don't want it to happen any time soon though. But I'm sure I'll be seeing more bees around in the near future, since Spring started tomorrow...I can't believe it's Spring already, but YAY! It means I'll get to wear dresses and shorts soon. No more trackies and jeans and giant jumpers every day.

Kim- i'm looking forward to coming the winter. After the hurricane we had tropical storm winds for two days... i was LOVING it. Love the wind.

Everyone- i started to read Bloodlines today but didnt get very far. Only on page like 30. I kept getting interrupted and i hurt my neck cause i slept in a weird angle so i couldnt get comfy while reading so i gave up. I want to read Bloodlines happy and in peace and in comfort so i'll try again tomorrow.

Tasha: Ough, I hope you can get comfy soon and that your neck feels better.
I like sunny days with a slight breeze best. They're awesome days. I just feel like it went cold really fast this year...I'm sick of winter gear. But I also don't want it hot *too* quickly, because then we'll probably got bush fires all summer, which would suck. The only thing I'm not looking forward to in spring and summer are the daily thunderstorms. I could do without them.

Ash-That sucks that you have to write a paper that won't evne be graded. I find that highly unfair.

Tasha-Sorry you can't seem to find the time to read BL. I know thats got to be aggravating.

Kim-I love spring, but i hate all the storms and bugs that come with it. Although here in FL we don't actually have a spring. it's 10 months of super hot and 2 months of cold : /

Lol. I empathize with Wilda about the weather. The transition seasons don't really happen in NY. It's freezing , then maybe a week of spring weather, then it's hot as hell. Then the same, a week of fall/autumn weather before it's freezing again.

Ahhh I might be going home today instead of Friday!! Yay... I've been here at the dorm for the past 10 days and I miss my room. Luckily one of my classes was cancelled for Friday and Monday's Labor Day which means no classes... Now I just have to get over my guilt of skipping my math class on Friday...

Okay, I'm over it. I hope my brother can pick me up this afternoon.

We have *slight* transitions between seasons, it depends on what the year really. Sometimes we get the coolish weather in autumn and spring, but sometimes it just goes from being super hot in summer and cold/wet winter.
