I was just trying to see who people thought would be good. I agree early twenties at most. Since hollywood usually casts a bit older than actual part. Bells 18 in new moon but they already filmed that. She is 19 in eclipse. If they cast now they can get a new actress they're going to start filming again in the fall for eclipse so there's still time. So 19-22 age range unless the actress can really pull off a younger look some can.

Is Eclipse a War to the Death against Victoria?

Apparently, after fighting Victoria, the series practically ended with Eclipse, as far as being worthwhile is concerned, isn't it?
I heard that David Slade, the dude behind 30 Days Of Night is going to direct the up-coming movie for eclipse... if it turns out to be better than the Post-Columbus movies, then perhaps i will bite my tongue when it comes to the twilight-world, in any case, and if not....it doesn't change the fact of the matter that today's hollywood is generally infested with Morons.

I liked 30 days of night maybe that will come in handy with the fight scene. Too bad Sm cant publish an alternate ending the way they do with movies I want an epic battle with the volturi and loose ends tied. Just a few chapters anything's better than the current epic failure. Maybe since she sucks at writing battles she can contract that out to another writer. My favoriate authors do that a lot. They let other Authors publish within their series. Margret Weiss and Tracy Hickman.

She could have contracted Rick Riordan, on dealing with most of the battles, and i doubt anyone in their right minds would have complained about it.
In fact, if you had read the Percy Jackson And The Olympians novels, By Rick Riordan, himself, odds are...you'd have a much-better apprecition for non-Potter-World novels, than what you would get from the twilight-zone[I absolutely REFUSE to call the novels a saga, because those novels wouldn't qualify for it, since the Cullens never bothered to make heroic exploits against insurmountable odds that would have killed most humans..need i say more?]

Are you saying the half blood camp vs Hogwarts because those are two totally different story lines wizards versus Greek gods/myths. That's like comparing twilight ad vampire Academy public high school were vampires intermingle amongst humans or Va were there are moroi and Dhampirs and the complexity of their race amongst strigoi. Two totally different books all together. If the cullens existed in the Va world they would be strigoi that's it. Va delves into politics and the social aspect amongst their kind Royal non royal Out castes royal (Ozera's, Victor Dashkov) And Dhampir, however wrong/ corrupt it is. IN twilight all you have are the self appointed Volturi who lead through intimidation. There is no complexity to the system in twilight there is no system, nothing in that serious makes sense and that is how the vampire race lives or exists or what ever it is they do. I can not call va and Twilight similar because they are not nor is Harry potter there is nothing that relates just as percy Jackson and the Olympians. They are all individual stories with their own qualities I agree that some are more well written that others and some have more to offer than others but they are all different in their own way to appeal to their readers. Personally I like the variety and endless creativity between authors and when I read a book that is lacking (uughhmm SM) originality it is disappointing. I will agree that that particular series was seriously lacking in all degrees such great potential wasted and yet it gets so much praise that really urges me. But what can you do? Yes Rick could do a better job at writing the battle scenes but then again if Rick wrote twilight Everything would have been written better and the series would have been polished and perfect. Whats done is done though and SM would never allow someone else to show her up in her own series she's kind of a egotistical know it all B****! from what I hear. She can not take constructive criticism.

YIKES!!!!
This is pretty bad, especially when the likes of either Rick Riordan or Eoin Colfer would have done much better jobs with the battles, including the fact of the matter that they wouldn't censor the fighting within the novels, for that matter...but what you mentioned, Jill...that makes matters all that much worse!

I like the twilight series a few years ago but the more I got to know about Sm the more and more respect i lost for her now I have none. BD was a big part of that.

Then how is it, that my respect for the likes of Rick Riordan managed to get kept intact, Jill?
I don't get that very much, at all.
And i was going to ask you if you had a Gaia Online Account, as well, Jill.

oh my i just read through all 7 pages of responses
I agree with everything Jill said. When i was a big Twilight fan i always said its the best and worst book u will ever read. Literature wise...it sucks. SM isn't a good author. I feel Twilght COULD be a really epic book but SM just lacked the ability to do so. It was the most annoying and anti-climactic book i've ever read. Story Plots never fully developed. Like Jill mentioned somewhere the whole 'government' aspect of twilight could of been really interesting but it was never evolved into something more. The main issues of the book was Edward, no Ewdward, Edward or Jacob.
However, it's a simple read. No complexity and i would just read without having to put in the work for it-but that's MY opinion and i understand others feel differently. I'm a whole romantic sap and it was the love story i was attracted too. I did enjoy the books.
However, twilight made me start reading again and it was because of twilight i found other great novels and series and the reason i read VA series. I was a big Twilight Fan but not anymore. I agree with "twilight doesn't deserve so much attention". Only because of the whole Twilight craze ANOTHER books are being stigmatized. I've lost count of the eye rolls and snickers and disapproving looks from classmates and Professors and from book clubs when i stated one of my favorite series is Vampire Academy. It seems , nowadays, whenever you mention "vampires" all people think about is Twilight and their poorly done movie.
I also agree it's not fair to compare series but in reality that's what people do. And that's why im no longer a twilight fan. I hate that other books are dismissed because of the Twilight craze. VA is a reallly well written and established story- but most people can't get past the Twilight craze to give it a chance.
It's frustrating to me because good authors like RM aren't having their fair shot of publicity. Even if these books blow up in the media it will be compared to Twilight and wont have the chance to shine in its own right.
Peace love n VA

I just realized that twilight is just a huge Vampire Academy/Cirque Du Freak Rip-Off, guys and ghouls.
Perhaps one of us shall start a thread for the Potter-World, then.

Anyway When I look at megan fox I see her as Georgina Kincaid from Richell's succubus series, I think she would be perfect for that role. Her and many other women of course since she changes form a lot. That would be an interesting casting job having multiple women all playing the same lead role.
I always thought Mia Kirshner would make a good Georgina

Apparently nothing else, aside from the fact of the matter Cirque Du Freak and the Gemma Doyle trilogy faced the negative impact of the twilight craze, as well.T_T
