Twilight doesnt deserve to have so much attention...*sigh*...

you need to finish reading the books you have it all wrong, spineless as they may be they are an integral part of the story. And the moroi not being badasses is also a key element to the plot and the purpose.

For our sake, especially mine and the rest of those who love literature of all kinds...i pray that you are right.

I guess...i was rather spoiled by the P.J.O novels and the Cirque Du Freak novels, along with the Mobile Suit Gundam meta-series and Super Robot Shows like Gurren Lagann to even imagine worlds without spines, really, since most of the stuff i read or watched had to be powered by Bad-@ssery, really.

If i knew one thing to ask of the world...no more letting just one Franchise become the next big thing...it didn't work, anyway, except maybe during the Potter-World era, which would never come back!Instead of having one franchise be the next big thing, whether it be Percy Jackson And The Olympians, The Mortal Instruments, or Vampire Academy...why not have all 3 franchises as the next big thing, instead?

It took me a while to realize the messy structure to the mess, but after putting out my thoughts on the matter, here i go!

After being so used to the Potter-World novels, A Great And Terrible Beauty[which i'm sure that along with the rest of the Gemma Doyle trilogy, by Libba Bray, Richelle Mead borrowed from, for the most part!] Artemis Fowl's world, the Middle-Earth novels[when i'm up for reading them, since Tolkien scares me, without his works!] The Cirque Du Freak Saga, by Darren Shan, and the Pendragon novels by D.J MacHale...i now realized another issue that needed to be addressed on the twilight sequels[which after Eclipse, for the most part, is 95% non-canon!]

I realized if twilight's sequels truly wanted a happy ending, either Leah or Emily Clearwater should have died, and Mike Newton's potential, along with Jacob's, should have been realized, correctly in the novels, as even without realizing the man Mason was...the two of them had alot of potential, as they somehow read like Ultimate Iceman of the Ultimate X-men comics, split in two, but apparently only one of them got to be the bad-@ss that they both should have been, not to mention that...if i had to add anything else, Bella Swan's very much reading like an even more mis-managed version of Ultimate Rogue of the X-men, in which they both looked really sick, and such...even Edward in the sequels was reduced to a weakened[not to mention mis-managed!] fusion of several actually bad-@ssed protagonists, 3 of the most obvious in mind, being all the versions of Gambit of the X-men, Angel of the Buffy-verse[an outright mental screw-up, who unlike Edward, if Ed was stalking, Angel got called out on, by Buffy!] and Darren Shan[somehow Edward also reads like Darren, if Darren had Gameshark rammed to his booty, to begin with, rather than at the final 3 novels of Cirque Du Freak!]

After realizing all that potential to be as good as, if not better than, the Potter-world/Gemma Doyle/Cirque Du Freak novels, combined...my heart wanted me to cry, after realizing this stuff...but the saddest thing about it, is that i have better odds shedding tears for Gemma and her fellow Spence Academy ladies, let alone Rose and Company, than i do, for what twilight had lost, with all that much promise, all because of the blasted marketing team's apparent greed...

so uh New moon is coming out soon like Nov 20th or something. Now even though we hated the last movie we all know that were a bit curious if the new directer did better and were going to see the movie. Now I'm starting a post viewing boycott. basically I'm encouraging people not to rush in to see it. Wait till December so as not to give it a box office smash. They can only claim it a box office hit in the first week and best movie of the year first and second week. So by not paying to see it the first two weeks will actually be stifling that and sending SM a message that if all she wants is money and fame at the price of poorly written books and crappy movies she better start thinking about her fans more than her self. Personally I would love to wait until it comes to video and just rent the damn thing so as not to give her any money. But I don't have the patience for that so Ill probably just go buy a ticket for another movie at the same showing time giving my patron -ism, and support to another movie, and use that ticket to go see New moon. Thus not buying into SM"s piggy bank. By the third week theaters won't care if you say you changed your mind last minute on the movie you want to see. They already made there money off you anyways. There's a pretty good group from two other forums where i posted this so far almost 200 people have joined our post viewing boycott group. If you agree with this and know other people on other forums that would like to be involved feel free to copy and paste the message and send it on.

P.S. 200 may not seem like a lot now but people are spreading the word out there so there could be a whole lot more, that we don't know of. But most tickets are $12 times that by 200 and you get $2400 that SM isn't getting. Nor are her horrible actors. (No offense to Tylor Lautner who is like the only one in the series who can act)

So send it, forward it, text it, post it, email it, Spread the word!!!!!

If you wish to strengthen the position, you know you can propose that everyone goes in to see 'The Vampire's Assistant' in theatres when New Moon's 1st two weeks come out.At least that way, the Cirque Du Freak movies could be established, and we'd be having a buffer series to buy time until the P.J.O/V.A/T.M.I movie series all get fully established!

Better yet, you realized you could start a set-up for a gathering to be ready in February, on this President's Day, in 2010, which is a few months from now!We may start the full-blown counter-attack at President's Day in February, when 'The Lightning Thief' movie comes out, so...when the defensive months are over, we can go all-out in January and February!

Yes, we would, but first, we'd have to get them to stop being trolls, for one thing, before it's safe to fully accept them on the net, Jill, and second, i'm mainly after the Marketing Team, for the most part, that said, i suspect that the Marketing Team would get the Vampire Sub-Genre to respond to 'The Lightning Thief' movie with either getting the House Of Night movie series ready, or striking back with the Vampire Academy movie series.

Either way, it feels as if the Fantasy Genre[a Full-Blown Genre, thank you all very much!] is playing a dangerous game of chess with the Vampire Sub-Genre, which is an incomplete sub-genre, in itself, really, in which what's on the line would be the hope of the future, in that sense, Jill.

i have loved vampires since i was little. I went as one for like 5 years straight on halloween. Before there was a such thing as twilight. I used to act lke a vampire when I got bored. Yes, i know. Weird. But it was fun. and it was when it was weird, but i liked it, so i did it.
I have to admit, i actually read Twilight because everyone was so hyped up about it. i read it it, loved it, and enjoyed it.
i started reading all of the other books, and writing my own books, and everything.

sad but true as i have confessed before my 19 yr old sister in law in one of the twi-fans. She's not too annoying about it and though she refuses to read va she does read other substantial books. The thing she is guilty of is merchandise. If she knew that shower curtain existed she'd buy it. to match her five foot poster of edward over her bed. The best thing happened yesterday, kind of. She left her twilight blanket out on the couch/ottoman and my new puppy who usually pees on the floor (Still potty training) Intentionally jumped up on my couch and peed all over the blanket. Of course it leaked through to the ottoman and I had to clean my couch but I was laughing hysterically and couldn't bring myself to punish him. What can I say even my 5 month old puppy is a good critic.

I just hope it doesn't have to come to that for P.J.A.T.O when 'The Lightning Thief' movie comes out and filled out all the needed requirements, and even then, there's also the fact that Columbus shares the same kind of problems as M. Night Shymalon, insofar as both of them are so out of their prime, it's not funny, anymore.

Percy Jackson And The Olympians Fan-Sites must be invited to the Premire of the movie, since that way, we could make the fan-base's existence quite obvious, and if the movie turns out to be a massively worthwhile movie that was actually at least a decent take on the novels, we could be able to unite to cleanse the stupid out of Hollywood, or at least slow the stupid down, outrightly, by starting a New Movie Franchise, and who knows?Later on, when Vampire Academy and The Mortal Instruments start having movies, we can follow this approach!

Mustn't forget Edward too. He fits the role just as well and he did demand a book to be written about him by S.Meyer.
