| 48 pages into Wildefire and I had to put it down. So far I am not a fan of the characters.
Halfway through Dangerous Games (Riley Jenson Guardian 4) by Keri Arthur.

| I'm around chapter 5 in Soul Thief... though I'm thinking about putting the ARC down and waiting until my copy shows up tomorrow to finish reading.
I'd wanted to read Wildefire... but I never bothered picking it up. Is it not any good? I did see quite a few people complaining about the extraneous violence.

| Kim-I'm waiting for my copy to get here. And when it does finally get here, it will be with NH6. Idk which to read first! Ash-You have an ARC? I am so jealous! I got an arc of The Demon Trapper's Daughter about 2 weeks before it was released here so I can't complain. Libby-WHAT? NO! I was really looking forward to The Savage Grace. Sucks that it was pushed back Wildefire is pretty violent. It starts off where Ashline is in a fist fight. Then her sister shows up and makes things worse. I'm only 48 pages in so its hard to really judge the characters. I read a lot of books where theres lots of fighting, killing, and all that but for some reason the violent tempers in this book just doesn't sit well with me. And its not like Ashline has done anything horrible. She's got a fiery temper but thats it so far. Well okay she did knock a girls tooth out and give her a concussion and she probably prevented the guy from ever having kids, but they kind of deserved that. Maybe not to that extent though. I'm going to try and finish it once I'm done with Dangerous Games. Hopefully it's just one of those books thats only hard to get into at first but picks up later. | |

| Yeah I acquired the Soul Thief ARC from ebay. I didn't like seeing it up there for someone to make money off of and felt fiercely protective of it.
I'm just starting chapter fifteen and Beck is killing me with his angst-muffinness.

| Wilda: ooo, that will be a tough choice. My copy of NH#6 hasn't arrived yet. I'm holding off starting something new because it *might* get here today. I want more Cat & Bones (and then I can go back and read Heather's goodreads updates)
Ash: Lol, but you've had it for weeks and only started it a couple of days ago, so it hardly counts as an ARC anymore.

| Kim: True. And now I have an actual copy (one with an excerpt from Forgiven) so this is almost better. Augh I still haven't read NH#3 (can't remember the title). I've got a couple of those books to go through still. | |

| At Grave's End. UGH! I'm so jealous of the Forgiven excerpt. My copy didn't have that ... at the end of Forsaken there was the first chapter of Forbidden, but Forbidden has nothing but the book. I might go see if the actual Aussie copies have more in them, since I got mine sent from the UK. I spotted Forbidden in store yesterday, but there was only 1 copy and I didn't bother picking it up because I already had one. But I might take a look next time I'm over there and see whether it has any extras. (I doubt it though) | |

| Kim: haha yeah. That one. I still have to read it. If you can't get your hands on a copy of Forbidden with an excerpt you'll probably be able to find it online. The Amazon preview of Soul Thief has it. If not, I could send it to you (but not until I've finished ST). Libby: NH stands for Night Huntress. | |

| Night Huntress, by Jeaniene Frost. Sorry, we use the short-hand version on twitter a lot because it saves typing space and sometimes forget to switch back to long-hand
Ash: It's ok, I can wait. It's not like it matters if I have it now or later, still have to wait for the rest of the book.

| Ack. Finished Soul Thief this morning. *agony* Now it's a six month wait for the next one. *dies* So... I've got Succubus Revealed. I guess I should start on that now. Though I fear I'm too obsessed with Beck at the moment to read about anyone else. | |

| I'm still too Beck obsessed to read about anybody else. Though I guess it wouldn't hurt to start Succubus Revealed because I feel in an angels/demons kind of mood. And Envy by J.R. Ward will be releasing next Tuesday so there's even MORE angels and demons!! | |

| Currently reading 'Blood Bound' by Rachel Vincent. I put it off for a while. After finishing Night Huntress #6 I could get in the mood to start something new. But I'm mentally hitting myself for not starting 'Blood Bound' earlier. Super awesome start, you're left with so many questions, can't wait for more. | |

| Double post. Anyway. I've finally got Envy. *cheers* And I saw Blood Bound so I picked that up as well. But it has this weird advertising poll thing that wants to send people free books... I don't know what to think about that. It's kinda randomly in the middle of the book. I checked all of the ones on the shelves and they each had it. Weird. | |

| My 'Blood Bound' has that too! It's annoying, I guess like flipping through a few extra pages, but it breaks up the story. One of my other Rachel Vincent books has the same thing. But it doesn't ruin the story, so I can live with it. | |
