| Now I know there has been some reading going on since July. Where is everyone??
Sorry I haven't been posting much in this topic. I haven't had nearly as much time to read as I did before I started working.
I've been working on Archangel's Storm by Nalini Singh for 3 weeks now : / Before that was Carnival of Souls by Melissa Marr, Defiance by CJ Redwine, Biting Cold by Chloe Neill, Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent, etc.

| Hey guys. Been a while for me. I haven't been reading much either, Wilda. I've only managed to read 6 books since June. So I've read... This Is Not a Test by Courtney Summers - It was okay but really depressing and not really about zombies. Foretold by Jana Oliver - Awesome book. Perfect way to end the series. Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry - Also pretty depressing but good; the love story was nice anyway. Spark by Brigid Kemmerer - One of my favorites this year. I love Gabriel to death. This book gave me so many brotherly feels. Hunting Lila by Sarah Alderson - Eh... it was okay, but there were so many things wrong with it. I started to read the sequel but I'm just not really into it. Rapture by J.R. Ward - Not my favorite in the series. Sort of dull. I don't know what to read right now. I just haven't been reading much lately. I might just reread Spark because I loved it so much. | |

| I'm...not going to list the books I've read since June, because I might be here for a while. Just about to finish Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce and I'm stalling because I think something bad is about to happen AND I don't want it to end yet. SO GOOD! You all need to read it. <3 Ash: I saw you'd read This is Not A Test on Goodreads and you may have mentioned it to me before but my memory's faulty What was is like...other than the not-really-about-zombies thing? Was the writing good, because I was looking into Courtney Summers the other day, but don't really know what she's like. | |

| I'm not really sure what her other work is like. I hear it's good anyway. But This Is Not a Test is like... really brutal and intense and depressing and hopeless and just SAD. It's really about survival. It made me think a lot. From what I remember, the writing wasn't too bad. Haunting is a good word for it. The words seem to flow right out of Sloane and sort of seep into you. I know you're not really into horror movies and all, so I'm curious how you'll like this book if you decide to read it. Though honestly, I think the true horrors are what Sloane suffers BEFORE the zombie apocalypse. The zombies are just sort of... there. Here's an excerpt of the first chapter: http://courtneysummers.ca/this-is-not-a-test-excerpt/And the second: http://us.macmillan.com/BookCustomPage_New.aspx?isbn=9780312656744 | |

| I've been reading alot lately.
I re-read the first three boos of 13 to life series by Shannon Delany. Then read the 4 and 5 ( last book of the series).
Then I read the 6 books of the Soul Screamers Series
I re-read Blood lines and finally read The Golden Lilly. Then I bought the Indigo Spell on release day and read it right away.
Now I'm reading Remember me by Christopher Pike.
My TBR after Remember trilogy Darkness Fall ( second in the Immortal Beloved series) Divergent 1 and 2 The Casual Vacancy
THen I'm going to re-read the first three books in the Hush Hush series to read the last book Finale. Then I'm going to re-read a couple of The House of Night Books( not the whole series but probably 2 or 3 of the last ones) to then read the lastest one that came out Hidden.
I have SO many more books to read. I'm trying to read atleast 2 books a week for the whole year. So I hope to knock some books out and clear out my TBR list which is really long.

| Wow! Tasha, you're on a roll! You must have had a lot of free time up your sleeves Soul Screamers!!! YAY! I'm 100% Team Nash, even though I'm certain he's not going to end up with Kaylee in the end. I just don't want him with Sabine and I hope he lives. If he doesn't, I'll be crushed. I'm meeting Rachel Vincent next week. She's coming to Australia and there's this special Teen event for bloggers at Harlequin in Sydney. It's going to be so much fun! I've been falling behind in the reading department because of my new job (not that there's no time to read before i leave and after I get home - but I've just been lazy with the reading ) Currently reading Indigo Spell - my copy only arrived on Friday. After TIS, I've got a few books lined up: Unravel Me - Tahereh Mafi Song in the Dark - Christine Howe (a review book for Penguin Aust) Falling for Her Fiance - Cindi Madsen Scorpio Races - Maggie Stiefvater Hidden - Marianne Curley Firestorm - Rachel Caine House Rules - Chloe Neill There's no way they're all getting read soon, but that's my short list. I'm just hoping to get through as many unread books on my shelf as I can this year. There's not enough time though! | |

| Tod's alright, I like him enough. But Nash stole my heart and I can't make myself switch teams. I love Nash Hudson <3 | |

| Tash - I liked the Casual Vacancy and Darkness Falls. Both totally worth reading. Finished with Eternally Yours sequel to darkness falls recently - disappointing ending to the series Let me know what Hush Hush 3 and 4 is like. I read 1 and 2 ages ago and thought it was ok. Kim - what's shatter me & unravel me like. the former has been on the TBR list for a long time. Currently reading Gone Girl while I wait for Requiem. | |

| I still have to read Darkness Falls, but I don't like the sound of the ending being bad for the series.
Shatter Me was intense and sort of strange at the same time. They way it was written took a bit of effort to get used to (there's a lot of strike through lines and it's all very flow-y, but the actual story was really good. A mix between sci-fi and dystopia, there's a sort of mutant-magic theme towards the end that you can't help wanting to know more about. I'm excited to start Unravel Me next because it's apparently got heaps of the guy I like (who happens to also be the evil guy...sort of. But I just find he had more personality and spark than the nice guy!)
How's Gone Girl going? | |

| I think you told me that about Shatter Me awhile ago. Just goes to show how slow I am getting through my to read list.
Gone Girl is good. It's different to anything I've read before. Totally engrossed in it. Read about 1/3 of it.

| I've been reading Rachel Caine's Weather Warden series mostly, but I have a couple of books from work that I've got through (or I'm supposed to get through) Perfect Escape by Jennifer Brown (so good!) and Dead Jealous by Sharon Jones - which I'm hopefully going to start today.
Hope you can get out of your reading funk soon Tasha.
