| New tactic I guess to get rid of books that don't sell. Anyway, yeah it shouldn't bother me too much. I just thought that was weird. | |

| My Blood Bound copy had that too but I carefully took it out of the book.
I'm back to reading Wildefire. It's picking up some and the characters are tolerable atm.

| I'm not skilled enough to carefully take it out of the book...I'm just going to ignore it. Finished Blood Bound this morning. Loved every word! I have no idea what I'll read next, but I have a few books to pick from. | |

| I'm thinking I'll get to Blood Bound after I finish Succubus Revealed after I'm done with Envy. Ah nearly halfway through Envy. I'm so loving Veck. Yes, Veck. But does he compare to Beck? Heck no. Omg and the girl's name is Reilly. Well, it's her *last* name. But erm... Veck and Reilly on one hand and Beck and Riley on the other... sometimes I forget which series I'm reading. | |

| Lol, I was reading a Rachel Vincent interview (with a SUPER complicated giveway at the end...like a thousand extra entry posts...it was ridiculous) Anyway, Rachel was talking about Blood Bound and I giggled at what she said about it: "I pitched Blood Bound as "Romeo & Juliet meets The Godfather." With powers." EDIT: Meant to leave the giveaway link, while it's open to everyone, since I already own all Rachel's books (except If I Die which is preordered already, so close enough). But you can win, Blood Bound, If I Die and a Rachel Vincent book of your choice: http://papercut-reviews.blogspot.com/2011/08/interview-and-giveaway-with-author.html | |

| LOL Ash, that would have me all confused.
Haha Kim, that kind of does described Blood Bound.
I finally finished Wildefire. After more than 100 pages in, I finally got into it. Its by far not the best book I've read but it was interesting. Not nearly as violent as I thought it would be. That last line though. That alone has me wanting to read the sequel.

| Well. I'm back on Succubus Revealed. I'm not really feeling it yet to be honest, and I'm about 1/3 through it... I almost want to go back and reread Envy. Too bad I left it at home. Argh. | |

| Just finished Soul Thief and all I can say is O.M.G! - Spoiler:
First off, I guessed Ori being an Angel early in the book but I didn't figure out that he's a Fallen until he started seducing Riley. I am SO angry at myself for not seeing it sooner. I liked Ori. Really liked him. I should hav known he was too good to be true. UGH! And then there's Simon. What a ass he's turned into! And the the way Beck reacted when Riley told him about Ori. He acts like she knew he was a Fallen but she didn't. She fell for his charm just like any normal girl would. But I understand he was hurt btu still. UGH! ANd I do NOT trust Justine. She's up to something. Riley didnt listen to beck and look what that got her. He needs to stop and think that maybe Riley's right about Justine. I feel so bad for them both.
March can't come fast enough!!!!

| Wilda: - Spoiler:
I never trusted Ori, beginning with his first appearance in book 1. Mostly because he and Simon were in the way of Riley/Beck but also because I thought he was too mysterious to be up to anything good. I did start to doubt that he might not be all *bad* when he rescued Beck from the Mezmers... but nope. lol I didn't let myself like him, even when I doubted if he was bad. I figured out he was an angel when his angel buddy appeared, and I suspected if he was a Fallen because they kept saying "He" and "Him" and I thought they might not be talking about God... I was super angry and nearly threw the book when Riley decided to sleep with him. UGH!! But I got over that pretty quickly once things escalated and he turned out to have betrayed her by trying to get her soul. I just felt horrible for her by that point. I think Beck can get over what happened. I actually sort of think he may begin to see her as more of an equal now because they both have made mistakes. And I'm almost certain Justine won't be good news and I think Beck is going to regret getting in deep with her especially after Riley warned him about her, much the same way he tried to warn her about Ori. It might be hard, but I think once the tough part is over, they'll be good to each other. At least, I hope. Omg, it nearly killed me when Beck confided to Riley that he can't read!! *cries* He was so vulnerable. He must really trust Riley to admit something like that. I love how Riley treated the matter too, telling him she'd help him and get the software from Peter so he could read along. *sigh* That was probably my favorite part in the book. It nearly beats out the part in book 1 where Beck takes her trapping, and then gets her food and gives her the claw necklace. I'm going to cry if Forgiven is the last book in the series. Jana keeps saying on Twitter that she still has two more books she wants to write for Riley and Beck. I'm so hoping she gets contracted to do them.

| Soul Thief/Forbidden Spoilers - Spoiler:
I figured out Ori was an angel early on, but it didn't even cross my mind that he was evil until it was all revealed to us. It totally makes sense and I'm going to have to reread DT & ST (because I own those versions now too ) and see if I can spot more signs. I still sort of like Ori, not as a potential partner for Riley or anything, but he's still got that mysterious bad-boy thing going for him (emphasis on the BAD part) I love how much Harper changed in this book, he was so nice. But I fear that won't last long, because he's not going to be happy that both Riley and Paul made deals with Hell.

| Soul Thief Spoilers - Spoiler:
I liked how Harper showed a softer side but like you Kim, I don't think it will last. I'm hoping him and the others won't find out about Riley and Paul's deals with Hell but both are understandable. Paul sold his soul so he can protect Riley and Riley only made a deal to do something (I fear that something is going to be something she's not going to want to do) in order to protect Beck and Peter and anyone else she cares about. If it does get out which it most liekly will, Harper won't forgive it but I'm hoping the others will understand-mainly Beck. I hope he can get over Riley's mistakes and be there for her. She needs him now more than ever and he's going to need her once Justine breaks his heart. I really dislike her. I haven't trusted her since the moment she appeared. I'm no longer an Ori fan Kim. He pretty much broke my heart like he did Riley's lol but I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of him. All the signs of him being a Fallen are there, I was just too entranced to notice them : /

| I started reading At Grave's End last night. I'd like to read some more, but I think I'll be too tired and/or brain dead from a night of studying to bother. | |

| Hehe yeah. We'll see if I get to read some more Cat/Bones tonight. I spent 2 hours doing math exercises and now I'm going to go read a chapter out of my psychology book. It's annoying having multiple tests on the same day. | |

| Ash: You can reward yourself after studying...read a chapter of something and then celebrate your hard work with Cat/Bones love
Wilda: lol, I really wanted to start Shade, but when I borrow books from friends I want to read them first, so that I'm not holding onto them for a while. So unforunately Shade's going to have to wait a little while because I borrowed 5 books on Sunday (AB and the first 4 BDB books). At least I know Shade's not going anywhere.
