Read Tough of Frost (Mythos Academy) by Jennifer Estep yesterday. It's another descendants of gods and goddesses series. I really liked it though.

I saw the VA guide in stores 2 weeks ago and I still haven't got it. Maybe I'll pick it up tomorrow.

Embrace is on the backburner again cause I just got crossed from the library.

The VA guide is good, but it doesn't tell us much that we don't already know. The Q&A bits with Richelle are new and fun, things like "When did Dimitri fall for Rose?" and there are some quizzes I haven't done yet, I want to really go over the entire guide before I attempt them, because I don't want to get anything wrong (even though no-one but myself will be scoring me). I recommend price hunting. I got mine for $10 from Kmart, but if I'd gone to Big W instead I would have found it for $8.88...then again I would have only found 1 copy and it was beaten up a bit, so I'm sort of glad I got mine for $10.

Yeah paying a little extra for a copy in perfect condition is worth it imo.

I ended up ordering CP online instead of driving the hour drive to B&N so it won't be here until Saturday or Monday : /

Guess I'll read Shatter Me considering I read half of it online a month ago.

i started reading Lost in time from the blue bloods series by melissa de la cruz today in the doctors office.

Wilda: I'm still looking for CP. My stores haven't had it in. Going to a different shopping centre tomorrow with my mum and they have a proper bookstore. So I might pay the few extra dollars and get it there. Though it is a real bookstore, the last time I was there they didn't have a very good selection, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they have new (popular) releases in tomorrow.

Tasha: Is it good so far? I ahven't read any of the Blue Bloods books...I did read a short story from the series once, I think it was a prequel short story, but I don't remember much about it.

I like the Blue Bloods series. It's not one I must have as soon as it releases but I enjoy it.

How is Lost In Time so far Tasha?

In my opinion, the blue blood series is a filler series. Something to read when you are waiting for new releases. It's good enough to enjoy and hold your attention, but not OMG i have to get it release day. I've always called them appetizers because that's how i feel when i read them. They are a quick and fast read. The first few novels, imo, are kind of more fluff then substance. But, it does pick up. I enjoyed the last couple of books alot more than the beginning few. I really really like the twists on vampires in this series and the tie in to modern times and history and even religion. It does make for an interesting read. The series does get a little action-y which i liked. Lost in time, so far, is just OK. I'm not that far in, about 50 pages. Too tortured love for me so far. But, that couple be my mood too, not exactly in a sympathetic romantic mood. BUt, it's starting to pick up and thats why i stopped reading cause i was in the doctors office. I hate to stop reading when things get good.

I keep seeing the Scorpio races everywhere. Has anyone read it yet?

I haven't read The Scorpio Races and I have no desire to even though I've heard its really good.

Finished "lost in time" from the blue blood series ( totally pissed me off )

Read the first two chapters of Silence from the Hush Hush series. But, i'm so pissed off how the book start in relation to the ending to the end of the last book so i lost desire in reading it.

Probably just going to read the next Sweep/wicca book for the read along.

LOL Tasha, thats why I haven't read Silence yet. It got spoiled a little for me so when i found out thats how it starts I was pissed off and couldn't read it.

And now idk if I want to read Lost In Time. How would you rate it?

Shatter Me by Taherah Mafi

hmm i'm not sure how i would rate it...maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10. Probably give it a 7 to counter act any bias i may have ( been in a real cranky/crappy mood). WIthout any spoilers the beginning was too tortured loved for me. The middle was really good, albeit a little frustrating at times cause you're anxious and the different perspectives weren't always on the same level. So at times some perspectives were really enticing and then you turn the page and the next perspective wasn't on the same degree of excitement so it kind of ruined the mood. But i did enjoy most of the story, you follow it really really closely which i liked. It's not that i didn't like the ending, i felt ripped off with the ending. Felt it was abrupt and harsh in its delivery in comparison to the rest of the deliverance of the book. But, i think it's definitely worth the read. I may be a little picky. But, it's just the way the story ended really really pissed me off.

Ohhh, Does it have a cliffy ending?

Finally finished Shatter Me. WOW, what a book.

Gonna tackle Last Breath next after finding out that Claire and Shane have one hell of an ending. Its going to take all I can to not read the ending first.

LOL no, I've stayed strong so far. I have no plans to read the ending first this time. I have a feeling it will ruin the rest of the book if I do.

Ok good, you definitely don't want to flip during this one. Seriously, best MV book...at least it's my fave. I adore it.

So Shatter me is really good?
I added it to my BTR list but I'm not sure about it.
Slowly reading crossed. The plot doesn't flow so well.

I really enjoyed Shatter Me, it's a good book. Ok, definitely in no rush it get Crossed now. I'm not a fan of slow books.

I couldn't finish Crossed. It started out way too slow and I just couldn't get into it. I plan on finishing it one day just not anytime soon.

Crossed was awful. I want to slap my self for reading the whole thing. Nothing interesting happens. I dunno why I kept reading it. Its such a let down after Matched.

Picked up Silence HH #3. Is that good?

Silence has a VERY slow beginning. It takes a while to get into anything and that frustrated me a bit...but the ending was really good. Lots of action, shocking ending etc.

Just finished 'Hallowed' - Cynthia Hand. Apparently it's already out in Australia, but I have a friend working for Harper Collins at the moment and she got an early, early copy and let me borrow it. That book...don't read it if you've got somewhere important to be the next day and keep the tissues close. That's all I'm saying.

I've got a heap of new books I could start at the moment, but I think I'm going to reread something fun to distance myself from Hallowed.

Just finished Embraced by Darkness (Riley Jenson Guardian 5) by Keri Arthur. Gonna start book 6 The Darkest kiss next.
