I guess that's something we'll find out in the next book. Yeah, she definitely made the deal with the angels. Not really a bride, more like blackmail. "we can save your boyfriend, but we won't unless you promise to serve us and be our saviour" No pressure there right? And poor Simon, he's going to be useless. If he ever fins out actual angels saved his life he'll be even more obsessed with god and all that is holy.
I love how Beck freaked out when the demon said her name, and Riley's all "Yeah, but they all do that." shrugging it off like it happens to all trappers. So yeah, I think the demon name thing will have something to do with the Blackthornes and if not the family then her father, definitely.
I'm so annoyed her father got taken. All that hard work protecting him, and it was like a day maybe two before he was safe and he gets resurrected. That's just not cool.

I like how Peter says Riley's awesome at the beginning when he's watching videos of her on youtube and then flips out at her at the end. Like he didn't know her job was really life threatening or something? Idiot.
The whole thing about the demons knowing her name kinda reminded me of Dark Swan. They're just supposed to know you're a threat, but not know your actual name. I guess maybe she's memorable though because she's the first (that we know of) female demon trapper. Maybe that's part of the reason why she's so significant among Hell's fiends? Though I still think it might have something to do with her family.

If it was just because she was a girl, then how did they find out her name in the first place? It's not like she's going up to them say introducing herself: "Hi, I'm Riley Blackthorne and I'll be your Trapper today. Please keep your hands and feet inside the sippy-cup and we'll all be on our merry way." They'd probably just be calling her the 'Female Trapper'. There's got to be something more hidden underneath. Either way, I don't think being female makes much of a difference unless there's some strange rule/prophecy that means it's essential to have a female trapper and hell really wants to use her, but oh wait...Angel's got there first.

| Holy cow! Looks like there needs to be a thread made for The Demon Trappers series  Just finished Everlasting by Alyson Noel. It was actually good. A bit annoying at times and I skimmed through some of it, but it was a good ending for the series. Better than I thought it would be. Now to start the first Morganville Vampires book. | |

Honestly, my books arrived with their edges all bent and my copy of Halfway to the Grave has slices in it like someone tried to use a paper cutter on it. Argh. Nothing really major in terms of damage, but come on!! I bought these books NEW!!! | |

Just finished Fever #4. cannot believe how it ended. SO glad I have book 5. If I didn't, I think I'd go mad wondering how it ends.

| Well Wrath is still a king so simply for that fact alone he's more alpha. lol He hates it, but he's the perfect king. Hard on his boys but mush to his queen.
Bones is pretty awesome too though. I don't want to compare them. They're so different, but a couple things about them are pretty similar. Like the way they are with their females. Love it. | |

I think it's hilarious that he showed up at that wedding by coincidence. Cat is driving me nuts!! How can she live without Bones? I don't know why she does this to herself. It's agonizing.
