| Finished Timeless by Alexandra Monir today. I want more Philip!!
I dunno what to read now. I'm still on this historical/paranormal kick. Anyone got any recommendations?

Reserved divergent at the library. How would you rate it against HG? I think I liked Hunger Games better. I think HG was a lot more confronting straight away; the whole killing kids in an arena thing is hard to step back from, and I didn't find Divergent as shocking. It definitely pulls you in and its very action based. Lots of training and fighting. When comparing the leads, HG still sort of wins. Katniss is a really powerful lead, and while Tris is equally as powerful in Divergent, when you put them next to each other Katniss comes out on top. But then again, HG is a finished series. I love it because of what it is as a whole. Divergent still has more to come. Either way, both are really good books and I LOVE them. So Divergent rates pretty high. It comes in close second.

| Honestly, I personally like Divergent better. Both are equally fascinating and both heroins are equally amazing imo but I was disappointed with the ending of Mockingjay so it kind of ruined the series for me a little. Once the Divergent series is complete I may change my mind but I'm hoping for a better outcome than THG had. One thing I can say about HG is that its more devasting than Divergent is. Ash, I don't have any historical/paranormal recommendations, but I highly recommend Divergent by Veronica Roth and I recently read Firelight by Sophie Jordan and I really enjoyed it too. Its a nice break your normal fantasy books. | |

| It's not rushed like most romances in books are these days. It's one step forward, two steps back for a while. And when they finally get past everything something drastic happens and changes everything setting up for the next book. It's one of the few forbidden loves that have played out like it should imo. Finished Angels' Blood. Now I'm waiting for the sequel Angel's Kiss to come in from the library. It's been shipped so it should be here Saturday. Hopefully. Think I will read Raised By Wolves in the mean time. | |

| I hope it gets to you soon. I LOVE Night Huntress. I was so annoyed at having to wait for them to arrive. I'm trying to think of how to say how good the series is, without giving too much away, and I don't want to just fall back on "has a REALLY hot guy in it", because it's about more than that (although the guys in books definitely help). My friend who got me into Guild Hunter, got me into Night Huntress too, and I can't thank her enough. I know it's sort of weird to keep reading so many vampire books, but it has a few good twists to it, so it's really fun. I'm going to be sad when I finish the next 2 books and have to wait until August for bk #6 to be released. | |

After i got back from suggesting Jason of Camp Half-blood against Eragon of Alagaesia, on factpile.com, what say you on giving the world of Skulduggery Pleasant(By Derek Landy!) a shot?

Have you actually read Maria Snyder's Study series, or was the copy you won like a second copy? because you like Maria's books, so you could read them.

They're the second copies. I'm still trying to make my way through the 3rd book though. I dunno what it is... I'm just not feeling that one. lol I'm sure it'd get better once I get past the first couple of chapters. But gah, I just want something different. New characters, not ones I've already gotten to know. If you know what I mean. I might have to pick up Divergent soon. I mean, if it's as good as everyone's saying.

| It's worth the wait though, even if it is annoying to do so.
Just finished Night Huntress #4: SO GOOD! I stayed up until midnight last night reading it, and I would have kept going if my eyes had let me. Finished it this morning and I'm so glad I have the next one already.
Currently reading Night Huntress #5 'This side of the grave'

| The Goddess Test was really good, and I finally read Arcangel's Consort. I was sad when it ended cause I wanted more lol From my understanding the 4th book is about Dmitri and I'm not too happy about that. I want more Elena and Raphael-not to mention Illium If the 5th and 6th books aren't about E & R I hope at leastone of them is about Illium. I'd love to learn more about him. | Before I read Archangel's Consort I was annoyed it was going to be about Dmitri, but I liked him a lot better in AC so I don't mind really. I want to know more about Aodhan, Illium and Venom...I mean, all of the 7 are pretty cool. But ultimately I want Elena/Raphael. So glad you liked it Wilda Almost finished Night Huntress #5, then I'm moving onto 'Birthmarked' by Caragh O'Brien | |
