Ugh. I'm sick, I have to email in an assessment today, study for a test tomorrow for my last editing class ever and it's on indexing which keeps putting me to sleep and all I want to do is curl up in bed with my book because the book is fabulous and driving me mental and I cant!

I had my blood drawn yesterday for testing and it only hurt for 30 minutes after, plus there's hardly even a bruise

Rhia: I had 2 bunny rabbits at one point...the 1st died by having a stroke or something and the 2nd died b/c it jumped over the wall to the garden behind our house and smashed its paw on a stone so it had to be put down

Rhia: I had blood taken for tests as well this year...i was in the clear, but it does feel more painful when your own mum does it and really squeezes your arm!

My mom was surprised by how small I bruise I have because I tensed up a lot

It's okay it's a few years back now

And good for you! My arm was a bit blue with a bruise after my mum took blood from me...was so annoying tho! She put the needle in my arm and she started taking some blood, then she had to take it b/c she couldn't get any more blood! Like wth?!

They had to have a doctor hold down my arm

But the bruise is completely gone now

Lucky you! lol...it might hurt tomorrow tho...did you get any injections as well?

HI ladies! Sorry for the absence. We've been having some pretty bad storms for the past few days so my internet has been acting up. How is everyone?

Wilda, my dad is doing alright so far. The hubby has been real sick from chemo. :-( Thats why i've been quiet on SB. SO busy and tired.

Aww, so sorry the hubby is so sick from the treatments Its SO unfair that they have to get sicker in order to get better. Sorry you so tired but remember to take care of yourself too hun.

Hi ladies. Been doing ok. Getting over my cold. Last editing class went well, the test was pretty easy, a couple of strange questions but no fear of failing, so yay!

We should be getting the results from the blood tests back next week so I'm hoping that I just have an allergy

Kim, glad your getting over your cold and yay for not failing. I actually miss school alot. I miss the work. lol

and thanks Wilda and Rhia. The hubby has one more week before he goes back on the chemo. Its a cycle, on for a week, off for a couple of weeks. But the affects lasted almost the whole time. I hope this week he gets a break from being sick before it starts all over again.

everyone, my daddy was moved out of intensive care today! I'm so excited. One step closer to coming HOME.

And I miss school now too. Before, at least I knew what I was doing each week. Now I've finished yet another study-based course and I still don't exactly know where I'm headed. Although, I guess towards editing is a good direction

My Dad was so happy today. My aunt( his sister) and my two cousins and the hubby and I went up to visit him today and he was soooo happy to have so many visitors. He was excited and happy the whole time. He kept paging his nurse ( who was on lunch) cause he was excited to show us he can walk again. He kept telling them " I wanna walk in the hallway with my daughter!". Awe. After we left, he promptly fell asleep lol. He called me later to tell me he had alot of fun and was so happy to see everyone.

awe Tasha, thats awesome! So glad he's been moved out of ICU. Thats a pretty big step to going home
