Heya everyone...sorry, i've been away for 3 days...so what have i missed?

Wilda: yeah, I was applying for a job. I applied to Walker Books, they publish Cassie Clare's books over here. I really hope I get it. Walker do childrens and YA books, so it'd be so much fun. And it's an assistant position, so entry level job. The applications only closed yesterday though, so I don't think I'll be hearing from them for at least a couple of days if I do get it. *knock on wood*

Tasha: I hope the surgery goes well on Monday. I'll be thinking of your dad and your hubby as he goes through chemo.

Tomorrow is the day. My dad is really scared and nervous. He keeps saying things like "i'm insured for 25 grand" or "just so you know, i love you"...we keep lecturing him to stop thinking negative and be postive. i even wrote in his fathers day card, don't worry after surgery he is going to be like a fresh spring chicken. lol.but nerves are riding high. we are going to be leaving around 5am tobe there around 6am..they taking him that time for surgery.

Wish him luck from us Tasha. He's going to be fine *hugs*

Has anyone been following the Casey Anthony Trial?

Thank you ya'll. We were at the hospital since 530am. My dad is out of surgery. Surgery went well.

Thank you so much Kim ( and everyone else).. it was a long nerve wracking day. Testament to taht fact i totally forgot to return the pager they gave us, they paged us when surgery was over to go meet the doc in the waiting room. I didnt even notice until i got home and opened my purse and saw it lol. But it isn't over yet. He's still asleep and attached to machines and not awake or aware and all that gruesome things. It breaks your heart to see him laid up. But, we're just happy the surgery was successful and they are keeping a close eye on him in intensive care and his vitals are stabilizing and on the right track. THe doc said he will be very sick for days, and the recoup will take months. But, we're just anxious to have him awake. But, we're so happy he is more or less okay. And thrilled and anxious to be on the road to recovery. Just so anxious I cant sleep, i just wanna speak to him, i want him to wake up already. lol.

I have a Doctors appointment on Thursday!

For the cough?

Yeah, I've had it for 2 months now.

You might have a chest infection.

Maybe but it could also be an allergy...but I doubt it
