| Tasha: I'm not afraid of heights, but I don't think I'd be able to parachute. The fall is a bit too scary. I might be able to do it if it was a tandem drop. We were sitting in the top stands directly across from whoever that was filming. So we got to see everything from above. It's pretty cool.
Chloe: It was a pretty good game. Very close, but we just weren't good enough. I don't think my team will do as well as they did last year, they're just not up to stratch yet.

| i know some of ya'll know from facebook. But i just wanted to update everyone. My fiancee got the results of his heart test yesterday. He got tested last week because he was having symptoms not common with radiation and chemotherapy and scans of his heart showed some enlargement so they suspected abnormalities . PLus, when he was younger he's doctors said he may have a heart problem. SO we went for the testing to check everything out. But, his doctor said the echo test of his heart was completely normal, he doesn't have a heart problem. To just monitor himself about his heart and look out for symptoms and in like five years repeat the test to just stay on top of things. BUt she said she doesn;t anticipate anything, anything problematic for his heart. But for our own peace of mind, to just go for testing again in a couple years , or if heart-problem symptoms occur and she gave us a list of symptoms to look out for.
And in other good news. THis is week five of my fiancee's radiation treatment. Next week is the 6th and final week of radiation. His doctor said he has two weeks off of radiation and chemo. THne come in for blood work to make sure everything is okay. HE goes for weekly blood work, but his blood work has been good. Another two weeks off. Then we come and see his doc and she is going to arrange for testing, MRI's and arranging another batch of chemo. She said he will be on maintenance chemo of a cycle of on it for five days, then off for 28 days. THat cycle six times which basically is six months. I was laughing a little bit because it reminds me of a women's menstrual cycle. hehehe. BUt she said that should be the plan and she doesn';t anticipate any complications. But if his testings and MRI's show anything he may need more radiation and a different more intensive treatment plan. BUt that's not likely. Especially since he had CT scan of his head done like two weeks ago... they said everything was looking good. So... we're all do excited and hopeful. THe hubby has been feeling good. Just the bare minimum of symptoms for the past couple of days. A little tiredness. Oh and hair loss. He's super sad about that. But new hair is already starting to show, so he isn't that torn up.
My dad is going good. He finished his first cycle of chemo. He had it for 6 weeks, and is now on a 2 week break. He's been feeling stronger. He even drove the other day. Actually he bought me a laptop. As a graduation present. I felt bad accepting it. I know how tight money is with my family. SO i've been avoiding it for weeks. But my dad was so excited and persistent i finally caved and it made him so happy. I mean yeah i'm siked to have my very own laptop. But i felt guilty in accepting such a expensive gift. He's actually been doing little home projects. I already feel it, he's going to run me ragged working on his home projects this summer. lol. Yesterday when i came home with the fiancee from his treatment, i found my dad outside with a million tools and i asked him what are you doing. He said "planting". WHy in the world he needed toolboxes i dont know..lol. But he is doing real good and fairing well with his treatment.
I'm so happy and proud of my boys :-D

| I know I already replied in the other topic Tasha, but I'm still sending lots of love and hugs! SO happy that things are going well I gotta be honest all this royal wedding talk is irritating to me. I have nothing against them and wish them nothing but happiness but all the hype over it is annoying. idk how they can stand it, but thats the price you pay for being a Prince and marrying one. | |

| Wilda...the couple will be living on an island in north Wales called Angelsy, and there's only a bridge separating where i live and that island. Also, i am doing a fashion show for a charity shop i work at sometimes on the weekend...i will be a teenage bride and we will be "celebrating" the royal wedding as well. I really dislike the Queen and her annoying son Charles, but i think William will be an amazing king one day, and i hope Kate will be a great queen with him. | |

| Tasha: I'm so happy for you. *hugs* It seems like all this treatment is really working, and that's fantastic. I think it's good that you're going to use the laptop, not just because it's cool, but because your dad got it for you. He obviously cares a lot for you. Wilda: Ugh, I know the wedding stuff is annoying me too. But it has provided a bit of entertainment. The Queen banned one of our "reporting" crews from going to the wedding. We've got a comedy group called The Chaser, and they do HILARIOUS little skitts, usally making fun of everyone and everything (sometimes set up, because a friend of mine was in one of the skits and she was told what to do, but still funny) Anyway, Queenie said they weren't allowed to come. So it's pretty funny that nearly everyone else can turn up, but not the Chaser Ela: Wow, a teenage bride! You'll have to tell us how it all goes. I agree, I think Will's going to be a great King and Kate seems lovely. | |

| LOL Ela, thats awesome. I have no problem with them I'm just sick and tired of hearing about it. Its all over everything. But I do agree, I think William will make a great King someday. haha Kim. That's funny that the Queen banned them. At least you guys are getting some entertainment out of it | |

| Kim: I will post pics on my facebook and most probs will put one pic as my SB icon. And i will let you know how it goes Wilda: I know right! He's been to the hospital and stuff here b/c he's a rescue helicopter person so he does a lot of work around that kind of stuff Kim & Wilda: I am glad to know that you both think he'll be a great King one day...and i bloody hope the Queen gets of the throne (in any way possible) ASAP and that Charles has the common sense not to go for the throne. | |

| I don't really have a problem with the Queen. She's just a figure head for us...Australia's tried multiple times to separate from the Commonwealth and the majority of us have voted against it. She and the Monarchy are part of our history. | |

| Same here in NZ the Queen is just a figurehead. William was compared to Justin Bieber this morning on a breakfast news show. Royalty are mostly entertainment these days. Dunno why the US has so much wedding coverage. Here we had coverage on the fact. We do get paper with the queen's picture on it everytime we use the ATM so I guess there has to be hype. I think the monarchy will collpase if Charles becomes King. I don't think he has fans anywhere. Aust\NZ will be out of the commonwealth for sure. The Chasers will get there way - they snuck into an APEC meeting dressed as Bin Laden.
Just saw the trailer for Deathly Hallows Pt 2. Looks amazing.

| lol My mom is well... not really *obsessed* with the Royal Family, but ask her a simple question about Princess Diana and she'll give you her whole freaking biography. I personally don't really care about any of it and don't really understand either why everyone in the US is making a huge deal about it. I mean... so yeah. They're getting married. Big whoop. Which reminds me, has anyone on here ever made whoopie pies? I saw a recipe today and was thinking about trying them out myself, even though I'd never heard of them until today. | |

That was one of the funniest things they've ever done. I can't believe they got away with that. If you want to see the APEC stunt I found a video on youtube...i think it's only the main part though, there might have been more talking at the end of the original clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SypnEO9wMtI Ash: never heard of a whoopie pie before.

| They're like cake sandwiches with cream filling. *shrug* I've never actually had one. http://whatscookingamerica.net/History/WhoopiePieHistory.htmApparently Maine and Pennsylvania are fighting over which state the whoopie pie "belongs" to. THAT'S ridiculous. As for the Olsen twins video... yeah, I agree. lmao | |

| To me, that just looks gross. I hate cream...all that cream filling makes me feel ill. But it also reminds me of sponge cakes. | |

| I get that way with frosting on store bought cakes. Not only does it taste disgusting, it makes me feel icky if I eat any. I don't know how anybody can like that stuff. Homemade frosting just tastes better, which makes no sense cause it's all basically made the same. I don't mind cream filling stuff. But I'm more a chocolate person so I'd probably tweak some things. Also, the cakes don't necessarily have to be chocolate/cream filling. I've been looking online and seen vanilla, pumpkin, maple, red velvet... all kinds really. These look really good: http://traceysculinaryadventures.blogspot.com/2011/02/vanilla-bean-whoopie-pies-with-nutella.htmlI'm always up for a challenge when it comes to baking. One year I made myself a german chocolate birthday cake. lol | |

| I've heard of whoopie pies but I've never tried them. I think the different flavored ones might be good but I'm not big on the plain creme fillings. Let us know how it is if you do make one Ash. | |

Right now it's sunny here in Central FL but I knwo how fast the weather can change. I hope everyone stays safe and out of the crazy weather!

| Ash: Store bought cakes are never as good as homemade ones (except ice-cream cakes, because they're a lot harder to make at home)
Tasha: I know! They're SUPER funny. I found that clip and then spent the next half hour watching other clips. I love The Chaser, they're just hilarious!
I hope everyone stays safe from storms. Rug up and stay indoors. I've going away over the weekend. Going to see my grandmother and best friend...the plans keep changing, but I *think* I'll be back late Sunday night (it's 8:38 am Friday here atm)...won't be leaving until 2-ish this afternoon, but jsut thought I'd let you all know now, since I have the computer on and all.
