Easter is now officially forgotten in Australia (despite being 'Easter Monday'). Today is Anzac Day, a national remembrance day. Was up at 4am this morning for the local Dawn Service...in the rain. Yep, it pretty much rains every Anzac Day, but standing in the rain for an hour is a small price to pay respects.

Chloe: They lost But it was a really good game. They didn't lose too badly, so I guess that's something. And we had a visit from some parashooters and an army helicopter. So it was a really cool experience.

Well I had a good day yesterday. Wasn't expecting my aunt to have made me a birthday cake. It was pretty awesome. Then today my mom and my sis went and got me this really awesome food for my birthday from this place we know. It's one of my favorite places so I was pretty happy. My birthday's actually not until tomorrow... I think I might head out to the bookstore after school to get myself some new books.

That's so nice of your aunt to have birthday cake. It's always better when it's a surprise too, because if it's a planned party you sort of expect the cake, but it always tastes better when people go that extra little bit to take you by surprise.
I hope you have a fabulous birthday and a trip to the book store sounds like a good idea to me


Tasha: It was an awesome experience. I was actually doing a little online searching last night and managed to find a youtube video of the helicopter flying into the stadium...Oh! And this guy got the parachuting too...he didn't film them long enough though. The helicopter did this crazy hovering thing after landing and the third parachuter (he only filmed two) had the worst landing...it was funny and painful at the same time. https://www.youtube.com/user/tombolombo123

My friend came and picked up his dog today, so the birds are finally safe Although I'm going to miss having a dog around the house...again.

Thanks guys. Yeah so it's past midnight now... guess it's my birthday finally. Too bad it's basically already been celebrated. I don't know what to get. And you know? There aren't even any books that I desperately want right now. Hmmm...

Kim- oh my goodness, I"m so scared of heights just looking at the video gave me goosebumps lol.

Ash- u know now that i think of it, usually all the books I follow are released around the same time. SO i have a a few weeks of OMG books books books and then their is a dry spell of books I want. Hmmm interesting.
