| Kim- I'm so glad your dog is feeling better and things are working out for your friend.
I'm so happy too cause things are looking up for my bf/ fiancee. He was happy today for the first time since before he got sick. His radiologists cut down his radiation treatment from 6 months to 6 weeks! He will start treatment in a week or two depending on when the technology stuff is ready ( they are going to make a mask type thing and it's to guide the laser beam to the exact spot where the cancer is- 3d imaging stuff). So maybe next week or two weeks at the most. The best part is they assured us the only side affect from radiation will be hair loss, nothing else. He still needs chemo for six months and will have side affects from that but his oncologists is almost certain she is going to give him the chemo pill. Plus his doctors explained to us all the stuff he is feeling now ( low stamina, can't walk much, weak, shakes , stutters, dizziness, pains ) is normal and residual trauma and it will go away. The pain he will have for over a year cause it takes that long for the brain and nerves to heal. But basically we got reassurance and good news . The hubby actually played around today, we play fought and he pulled pranks on me. It made me feel soo good to hear him laugh and see him smile and felt good to feel it myself too.

| Oh Tasha! That's excellent! I'm so happy for you *hugs* Losing hair is annoying, but at least guys don't look as out of place as girls do.
I had a FABULOUS day today. We had guest lecturers in editing today. The first one was really friendly and cool. The second was discussing publishing houses and their online work...when she got up to Penguin she said their only blog was a YA blog (behind the lines) and then she said that they often do seperate websites for books and showed a screencap of the Penguin Australia VA site. My friend and I started smiling, and the lecturer asked us if we knew the website. We giggled and then told the class we'd met on Penguin's VA forum. The the lecturer clicked the next slide and there was a screencap of the forum too! It was so cool.
AND to top it off, Football season started off again and I had tickets to the first game. My team won. My voice is still sore from all the screaming, and my hands are slightly swollen from the clapping, but I don't care because I had the best time. I was a little sad my dad and pop weren't with me (dad's away and pop was sick) but I took two friends to the game instead, and we spent the pregame checking out hot guys (and in the case of one friend, starring at this one REALLY hot guy all night) and then the main match was just insane. SO much screaming and excitement. It was awesome.

| All these earthquakes are starting to freak me out. I'm Thankful we haven't had any, but my heart breaks for all those affected. The Tsunami is hitting Hawaii right now (8:30am EST) and is expected to hit the US West Coast between 10 and 11:30am EST. Idk about all the other countries and territories, but I'm Praying for everyone in Japan and all those affected by the Earthquake and tsunami. | |

I'm pretty sure I have some distant relatives in Japan (my grandmother's family), but I don't exactly know where they are... Nowhere near the coast I think, but the earthquakes were pretty severe. I only met them once and don't contact them but I hope they're alright. My parents have thrown around this idea of taking my sister and me to visit them one day. *shrug* Anyway, I'll be on my way back home later today. lmao I managed not to destroy anything else while staying in my brother's apartment. Luckily both of my brothers are coming back with us for their spring break so we might go see a movie or something. I know they really want to see Battle L.A.

| Hmmm...Do cocoa pebbles cereal count as chocolate? I'm supposed to be fasting chocolate for Lent and I ate a bowl of cocoa pebbles earlier and didn't even think about it being chocolate until a few mins ago | |

| Wilda: The footage of Japan is just horrifying. I can't imagine what people are going through today. When I got home last night, there were all these tsnuami warning rumours floating around for Australia, but we were going to be ok. I feel so sad for everyone effected today. | |

Watching it on the news right now. It's devastating. I was watching a news report on Christchurch when they broke the news that there was a earthquake in Japan and a tsunami warning for the pacific. I want to hear a good headline soon. Had a busy week at Uni. It's my final year so I have to start applying for graduate positions. Got a 21st tonight that should be fun but that means tomorrow's going to be filled with homework.

| Hi everyone. I've been avoiding the news and stuff. I just dont want more sad news in my face. I know its selfish. But i get oddly sad about world disasters and stuff. Guess its the hippy/activists in me. I really though when i was in high school I would be able to change the world. I think deep down i still do, and so when i hear about stuff like this it just breaks my heart.
Yesterday the hubby went to visit his job. Meaning he would be there ALL day and i got a break. What did i decide to do with my time off ? CLEAN. Yup. i decided to spring clean my room. I mean i moved everything. I flipped off the mattress/box spring and cleaned under the bed. I dusted. I swept. I vacuumed. everywhere i could reach I cleaned. I Windex-ed alot, all the surfaces. The floor is now really really clean. I hidden some stuff under the bed ( i have the hubby's million shoes lined under the bed and the boxes for equipment like the tv box and my camera and kindle boxes, is stored under there and out of the way, finally. I flipped the mattress and changed the sheets and pillow cases . I de-cluttered by putting stuff on the closet floor closet. But the closet floor was my library. I have half my books ( my YA series and books I haven't read yet) out on shelves in my room, but the rest are in piles on the closet floor. But i put more stuff in there, in crates , so now my books are randomly all over the place in there, mostly as fillers between all the boxes and crates. I really need a bookcase but I just have no where to fit one. I'm hoping to do more today- more de-cluttering. I cleaned all day from 1030 in the morning until 530. I only stopped cause my dad asked me to go play his lotto so i had to stop, shower and dress and go to the store. Then when i came home the hubby was home. ANd i was SORE. i felt like i was working out. lol
But i want to finish cleaning today. I have the shelves and cabinets in my room to clean out and de-cluttered. Lastly , which i dont want to do today ,i have my dresser and my closet ( the clothes part) to go through and organize and de-clutter. I know there is tons of clothes we both dont wear or dont fit into anymore. So they need to get stored in my moms room ( lol, my mom has like a million dressers and all the draws are mostly empty sooooo my personal storage) . But I guess I'm in a cleaning kick because when the hubby is home its really hard to clean around him. Or even clean together. Cause we all have our methods and its clash. So my cleaning has been severely limited since he's been home. Which means my room was SO messy and cluttered. Plus, i figured if he is going to be recovering, its best to do taht in a nice clean clutter free room- and i reckon i will be busy care-taking so i dont have to worry about a big cleaning just every day tidying up and then i do the sheets every other week. So i can manage that.
But anywho, The hubby and I had a great night last night. He was high as a kite lol. He took his pain medication again. After seeing his doctor the doctor assured him he can take pain medication, and the pain is natural and will have it for a long time. So he wasn't afraid anymore and wasn't scared of medication messing with his healing. After being out all day he was in alot of pain- plus he had a good time from laughing alot but it didn't help with the pain. So he took two pills again and he was tripping out. So at first he was talking high talk with me ( like who would win in a fight a dinosaur or a unicorn...lol) But then we were just talking and talking and hanging out together- no tv, no computer, no books for me. We just turned the lights off, put the radio on and chatted. It was awesome. I'm always nagging him to do that but he never does- all macho and stuff. But yesterday he was like being macho is stupid , this is awesome. Lol. So all in all, i had a great day. Made even better because i got to SLEEP. I slept straight through the night. Slept for 9 hours. I swear i could of stayed sleeping but i woke up cause i have errands to do today. BUt im in a great mood.
And i wrote a novel. My bad . lol

| geez Rhia, calm down. Didn't mean to offend you and if you have a headache that bad, why don't you lay down in a dark room and try to sleep. That usually helps me. | |

| Wilda, St. Patty's Day is March 17th every year, never fail. I know around me, well its sort of around me, a local neighborhood parade is always the first weekend of March, unless the weather is bad then its the weekend before. My cousins from North Carolina drove all the way up here to go to it last weekend. lol. Most local parades are always the weekend before the holiday. I actually dont even know when the big official St. patty's day parade in Manhattan is. if its on st. patty's day or the weekend before. I didnt hear stuff about it on the news so i assume it'll be on Thursday. I know i never go, its such a hassle. I love my Irish brethren but they are sure rowdy. I much prefer to have my corn beef and cabbage and whiskey at home then go to the big parade in Manhattan. | |

| Just got back from seeing Battle L.A. It was kinda weak. There was like zero character development and the acting was meh. The action was alright but I've seen better. Is this year like all about aliens or something? There are like a million alien movies coming out this year. Here's all the alien movies I know of coming out: I AM NUMBER FOUR Battle L.A. Mars Needs Moms Paul Apollo 18 Super 8 Transformers 3 Cowboys and Aliens The Darkest Hour I'll probably end up going to see at least half of them. lol There's a lot of movies coming out this summer (not all aliens) that I really wanna see. | |

| Hey Wilda and Tasha.
Ash, Battle L.A looked stupid to me. I've only seen the trailer, but it just seemed ridiculous. I have no interest in seeing it. I'm going to see I Am Number Four again tomorrow night though. I'm really looking forward to that.
Wilda, I'm pretty good. A little sad. My friend finally found a decent room to rent and moved in last night. It was sort of sad to not have her in the house anymore. I woke up in the middle of the night wondering why the room was empty....took me a few seconds to work it out.
Tasha: I'm sorry you're feeling moody. Hope you feel alright soon *hugs*
