| Wilda: I'm sorry your daughter was sick on her birthday, that's not fun. But it seems like she enjoyed herself despite being ill. Tasha: I hope you don't get sick too. I'll keep my fingers crossed for good health. Did you dad's fave horse win anything? | |

But i already went to the docs and am on medication so i should be fine in a few days. The hubby is doing alot better. We see all his docs today too so that should help.

| Wilda: I hope you get connected again soon. Tasha: I'm sorry you're sick. Glad to hear you're looking after yourself quickly though and that your husband is getting better I won a twitter competition last night! It made me all excited and super happy. We have all these Easter Shows in sydney (carnivals)...'The Easter Show' and it's new rival the 'Sydney Family Show' and they're pretty fun. The Easter Show is the biggest one, it's pretty expensive to go, but there's no much country life brought to the city, animals, wood chopping competitions, food shows, rides, showbags, extreme shows, fireworks...the list goes on. but like I said, its expensive. It used to be free, but then they changed the venue, so they made it exensive and harder to get to...very annoying. Anyway, last year a new Show was created back at the OLD easter showground and it's FREE! They're still sort of developing it, so there's not as much stuff, but this year they've got a couple of things I really want to see: a Duck Fashion Parade (yep, ducks dressed up and made to walk down a runway) and Pigs that play Musical Chairs! I think they sound AMAZING! Anyway, on twitter the Sydney Show people asked as all to say what we wanted to see most at the show (I, of course, posted about the ducks and pigs) and I won 4 unlimited ride passes. (while the show entry is free it still costs to go on rides, which is fair enough the same thing applies to the Easter Show only you have to pay $35 to get through the gates...not cool!) Anyway, looks like I'll be going to the Sydney Show within the next week, gotta use my freebies! | |

Not yet. I'm just a TA for an elementary school. I get to do all the fun stuff like watch (play) volley ball with the kids during break and help them with their work. I also get to do a lot of grading, but I generally like it so it's not a problem. Except when I have to give bad grades of course. I want to see all my kids do well. Probably the best thing about it is when they have parties... And there are a lot of them.

| Kim congrats on winning. It sounds awesome!
Everyone, sorry for whatever i missed. I've been feeling horrid lately so haven't had my usual free time. I might go back to the doctor tomorrow because i finish my antibiotics tomorrow and honestly i feel as if I never even took any meds. Honestly, i JUST stopped using my inhaler a few weeks ago, my lungs havent even fully recovered from the last time i had bronchitis around the holidays and so having it again so soon, i cant barely breathe at all. Which so sucks cause the hubby is having a good couple of days and the weather is so nice and i've been too sick to do much of anything besides the absolute necessary.
The hubby went for testing on his heart today. We dont get the results right away but the nurse who administered the test wasn't reassuring. She focused alot on something. But we dont know what it was or is or if it means anything. We're hoping its nothing serious.

I actually work with grades 1-5. It's a very small private school. There are only about 15 elementary students in all. But I also help out the high school kids. I actually never considered teaching before. It wasn't until I began volunteering that I found an interest. However I previously worked at a daycare in the infant room, so I had some experience with children. But kids are way different than babies. For one, babies don't go anywhere when you put them down. lol I hope you feel better Tasha.

| Nurses aren't supposed to give any sign at all while performing a test. Thats what I was told when I went for an ultrasound when I was having a miscarriage. She kept saying I'm sorry but I cna lose my job if I say anything. Which just irritate the crap out of me. I hope its nothing serious Tasha and I hope you feel better soon.
Lol Ash. Babies are definitely easier to tend to than kids. How is it working with the high school students? Ive seen a lot of them be disrespectful to the TAs b/c they are still young and fresh.
Man I've had a rough 20 hours. Yesterday i started getting chills and body aches again so I got a shower hoping it'd make me feel better. I ended up throwing up while in the shower. Then I got really weak and dizzy. I slept off and on until it was time to put the kids to bed. Cooking and feeding them was all a haze. Idk how I managed it. I actually freaked my daughter out cause I could barely walk. She stayed up my butt after that. But i put them to bed at 8 and went back to bed. A few hours later I started sweating and having hot flashes. And I woke up with a headache. I feel better now that I've ate a little but I'm still having hot flashes and nausea. Took some pepto bismo but it almost came back up. Idk why they tell you to take it when all it does is threaten to come back up b/c of the taste blech. I'm ready to be over this crap. Just a few weeks ago I went through the same thing minus the throwing up.

| Awe Wilda that sound worse then me, have you've gone to a doctor? Or any other medication?
I went back to my doctor today cause i finished my round of antibotics and i feel worse, not better. Last night was scary cause i was SOAKED dripping wet in sweat and the hubby has to wake me up several times cause i was wheezing really really bad and gasping for breathe. BUt i went and got a additional inhaler and while im still wheezing it helped alot. I can breathe slightly again. And I also got perscription cough medicine and Im soooo excited at the thought of having a break from the cough. But i have to wait to finish eating dinner to take it cause it has codeine in it. But its weekend and these news meds and SLEEP should help tons. My daddy got sick too so he got STRONG antibiotics and the same cough medicine i got. So today we spent 30 bucks on co-payment ( 30 dollars each) plus 202.60 for our medications.

| ugh I hope you and your dad get better soon Tasha!
I finally got some new meds this morning. My mom brought me some. I was SO dehydrated and extremely weak. Still am a little but I've finally managed to eat a little. My stomach is constantly growling but I can only eat so much at a time. I've lost 5 lbs in less than 3 days. Which i'm thrilled about but I know it'll come right back on as soon as I start eating regularly again. I freakin looked like the Undead-and not the pretty vampire type. I've gotten a little bti fo color back but I still have really dark circles under my eyes. But I do feel better. Although i said that yesterday too and I ended up way worse before better. But hopefully I'm on the mend for real this time. And I'm Praying no one else gets it. My daughter had it last weekend on her birthday but just a small mild case.
Well, I'm gonna try to eat some dinner and relax while I'm home alone. My hubby took the kids miniature golfing. Hope everyone else is doing much better and enjoying their weekend!

| AH food! I have never loved food so much before! I woke up starving this morning. I'm feeling soooo much better. Still slightly weak, I can't do as much at a time and while cleaning and all I have to take breaks but I'm on the mend I've got lots of cleaning and laundry to catch up on after 3 days of being in bed : / | |

| Glad your feeling better Wilda! Hope u get to eat a nice big juicy meal today :-)
And UGH i know, my chores are piled high. The hubby told me to stay in bed today and he will do it, but there is still stuff i gotta do. I feel a little better but still not good u know? I think my doc should of given more antibiotics or something. My dad is doing alot better. The hubby is borderline, he feels a little congested but not sick. So i hope he doesnt get it. I've must of used atleast 2 cans of disinfected spray in my room this past week. lol. I just think my lungs are in real bad shape from the bronchitis and asthma I just had a few months ago. I think thats why im so taken out this time. If i sit really really still, i dont wheeze and cough much at all. But as soon as i move my breathing becomes labored and i started coughing and coughing. I stayed in bed yesterday and just watched netflix with the hubby. Today , i hope to write or read but i doubt it....so many chores that were neglected all week and if i dont do them i'll have to find time to do t hem during the week which is really impossible.

| Wilda: I'm sorry you've been so sick, I'm glad you're feeling better though. You've sort of stumbled acrossed the only good part of being really sick: weight loss. I know it's not always healthy to lose weight, but it's nice to know you've gained something by doing nothing for days Hope you continue to get better Tasha: I'm sorry you're sick too. I think your hubby had the right idea to tell you not to do the chores though. You should all ignore them until you're feeling better. I know it sucks when chores pile up, but if you try to do them too early into the recovery you'll only hurt yourself more. Better to (unfortunately) have more chores to do later, but be well, than doing them now and dragging the sickness out longer. Hope you feel better soon and I hope the chores aren't too bad. We're minding a friend's dog for the next week. It's sort of strange having a dog around the house again, but she's really cute and super playful. I was outside giving her a rub this morning when my sister came home from being out last night. She jumped so high when the dog barked at her, I couldn't stop laughing. She knew we were minding her but didn't realise she was here already. It was one of the best things to happen today. | |

| Lol @ your sister Kim. I could picture myself being scared too, so its extra funny to me. And Thank you. I've in that phase of the sickness where its not better, but its not worse. Just stuck and lingering. It's mostly breathing problems now. If I stay put i dont cough much at all.
Thanks for the concern everyone, I stayed in bed all day Saturday and Sunday i cleaned and did chores but sparingly so as to not put strain on my lungs. It took all day to do 2 or 3 hours worth of work, but it was better on my health.
My brother passed out yesterday. It was quite scary actually I heard my dad scream. Then my mom screaming her head off "OMG R U ALRIGHT" so i thought my dad fell or something so i jump out of bed and go running downstairs. And i see my brother on the floor and my dad holding onto to his arms and my mother using a wet wash cold to wash his face. And he was loopy. Then he was like i feel fine i feel fine. So we helped him up and sat him down in the living room and he drank some water and then my mom fixed him some breakfast and he went to his room to eat. My dad comes running upstairs with his diabetic pack to test my brothers sugar. So my hubby starts laughing at my dad "paging doctor stanton, paging doctor stanton". My brother has a condition, his heart rate is accelerated and he has an hyper active thyroid. He's on medication for it for now but it was random his occurrence ( we thought he was on drugs from the sudden and drastic weight loss) but the medication has he at a steady weight and besides the shakes every now and then hes been feeling normal. he said he was feeling light headed and hadn't eaten for the day yet and thats why he passed out. Probably low blood sugar. But he took the day off of work today to stay home. I posted on facebook yesterday when it happened and all my friends were like omg why he passed out and my silly hubby said " cause of that good weed" ...and that comment had my brother dying laughing. Then this morning ( every morning my dad talks to my aunt) my aunt already knew about it and so my dad was like "they post everything on the internet!"...awe.

| I'm glad you haven't got worse Tasha, and I'm still hoping you get better soon.
I'm sorry your brother collapsed. I'm glad there's a reason for it though. Not that it's a good thing, that he has these conditions, but at least there's an explanation for it.
Lol, my parents say the same thing about facebook and twitter. I talk to my cousins more on fb/twitter than I ever did face-to-face and we're always getting each other's news before my aunties pass the messages on. It's pretty strange, but cool at the same time. Technology is a weird and wonderful thing.

| I'm glad you aren't getting any worse Tasha. Hopefully you'll finalyl start getting better. And I'm glad your brother is ok. It sucks that he has those conditions but like Kim said at least there was a reason for him passing out. My hubby is actually the one that talks about me posting on fb and twitter lol Even though he has a fb he just doesn't understand why everyone updates so much and posts personal stuff. I was the same way when myspace first came out but now it's all been such a huge part of my life idk what I'd do without it. I know one thing though I am definitely thankful for myspace cause it helped me reconnect with friends from high school ( not to mention family) and I have my 8th grade best friend back I've been meaning to ask you Kim, ho's the editing and publishing class going? | |

| It's going pretty good. The test we did last friday was fairly straight forward. We'd been studying for it in class for weeks and I was pretty happy with what I got done. It's a little sad though, half way through it and we've pretty much been focusing entirely on non-fiction editing. I guess because there are more technicalities to consider in non-fiction (fact checking, styling, making sure there's enough information, etc.) But so far, we've barely been given anything on fiction editing, which is what I'd be interested in more. But other than that, it's going really well. Only 8 weeks left (sort of...on holidays at the moment for the next 2 weeks...I've been lazing around more than usual, so I'll have to start looking at some assessments soon to use my time wisely) ....After that will come the scary part: finding a job :S | |
