yay i'm making progress through re-reading the HON series. I'm up too tempted now. the 6th book.

Oh i'm slightly more excited to read awakened now because i paged though the book and didn't see that many "zoey" chapters.

I'm reading Lock & Key by Sarah Dessen

soon to be reading Awakened by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast

Finished Pale Demon this morning. Best book in the Hollows series.


Book of Spells: A private prequel by Kate Brian

OHHHH i read Private it was a great book

There series is a good filler series imo. I mean some of it gets a bit ridiculous, but its still good. Although I have to say Vanished (12) took the series in an unexpected direction which is where the Book of Spells prequel book comes in. The last book in the series-Ominous (13) just came out earlier this month but I haven't read it yet.

I know probably nobody cares since I seem to be the only one obsessed with the series, but I just preordered a signed copy of Lover Unleashed!! Woohoo!! Still got a couple weeks before it releases though, but when it arrives to me it'll have a message from the author which is always cool.

Some deets about the BDB:
The series is about these vampire warriors who defend their race from lessers - de-souled human beings who threaten their existence. Basically each book follows the romance of a vampire and his/her destined mate (expect some VERY explicit sex scenes) and a couple of side-stories involving the other characters and villains. It's told in 3rd person pov and switches to different characters every few pages. The first book - Dark Lover - is about the vampire king Wrath and his mate. The second is about Rhage, third Zsadist and so on until all of the Brothers/vampires have had their story told.

Right now there are eight books with the ninth releasing March 29th. That feels like a lot, but once you get sucked into the world of the Brothers, you'll wish you had more.

Here's the correct order of the books for easy convenience:

Lover Eternal
Lover Awakened
Lover Revealed
Lover Unbound
Lover Enshrined
Lover Avenged
Lover Mine
Lover Unleashed ** releasing 3/29

Also as a sort of spin-off series is the Fallen Angels series (#1 Covet, #2 Crave). It's a separate series that you can read on its own, but it's easier to follow if you start after reading the 8th book (Lover Avenged) in the BDB series. I've gotten HOOKED on this series. I'm dying for the next one (Envy), but it doesn't come out until this fall.

Hehe I just finished reading Outside In by Maria V. Snyder. I just love her, for real. I've read four of her eight published books and I've loved them all. Though now I'm afraid that this might be the last in the Inside series. Both of Snyder's previous series were trilogies, but that doesn't necessarily mean Inside will be a trilogy as well. If it's not... I'll be very sad to say goodbye to Trella, Riley and Sheepy. Riley especially is just too adorable.

About to start Iron Crowned. Pretty excited to finally have a copy of it

Covet and Crave were already on my tbr list but I didn't know it was a spinoff. I'll have to read the BDB series first.

Covet was a bit of a slow read for me at first, but eventually I really got into it and loved it. I LOVED Crave and now I'm dying for Envy. I just love Jim and Ad and Eddie. But it's also a very different series from the BDB which is refreshing because it's so good!! I think a lot of fans didn't get on the Fallen Angels series as quick because they kept expecting the Brothers, but I really enjoy both series. I hear that one of the major characters in Envy is going to be introduced in the newest BDB book. *squee*

I am a bit upset finding it out when I haven't read the book yet. I'm waiting for the book to ship to me from the library. has been in transit for I swear a week now

Thanks Wilda. I was just about to click on that thread before i clicked on this one but i changed my mind last second.

I actually have no new books to read atm...I've read all the books in the house that i want to read...everything else is just boring to me....anyone got any recommendations?
