Yeah it's supposed to be the World Wide Web! I'm not big on tv shows I love to read so much more but there are the few shows that I do look forward to, now Life unexpected hit the top of my list after tuesday nights episode. That totally sucks for you though.

I want to see Life Unexpected they don't air it where I live. I'm too lazy to find some place I can download it from. Got plenty see and read at the moment anyway.

I ordered the signature edition of Vampire Academy from Walmart. So i'm reading that. I only read VA once because I only had it on ebook until now. Now my collection is complete and i can re-read the whole series from beginning to end. its been awhile since i read the first book i barely remember some stuff. I almost melted when i read

I just started reading the first VA book for the second time last night and I had a total fan girl moment when I read that line. Laughing

My goal is to get through the entire series before LS comes out. That's going to be tough, though, because school doesn't end for me until a couple days after LS is released and one of my classes has some very hefty reading assignments. But I want to refresh my memory on everything that has happened in the series before I get to the last book so I'm gonna try to make it work. Very Happy

yes I loved it! I read it in less than 12 hours cause I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next book Secrets and Shadows which comes out Feb. 15th.

I agree. I really liked City Of Bones and got through it pretty quickly. City Of Ashes is a completely different story. It took me a while to finish it because it just felt like it was just a repeat of the first book. I actually put it down at one point and read something else because I was getting bored. The main plot with the villan, Valentine, really could have been resolved in the first book. The "will they or won't they" between Jace and Clary and the conflict with Valentine starts to get old to me about midway into the second book. The way Cassandra Clare has written the series really feels a lot like Stephenie Meyer's approach to Twilight. The books (at least the first two) keep replaying the same repetitive moments between the characters because the author is trying to stretch out a story that really only needs two books.

I'd still suggest you read the first book at the very least. Despite my criticisms of the second book, I really did like the first.

I've read all 3 books and loved them all. The only way you'll know if you like it, is to read it yourself. If you like COB then read COA and if you like it read COG. and imo Cassandra's writing is nothing like Stephanie's. I didn't find TMI to be repetitive but that's jmo.

Hmmm...I'd have to go with Night Star. Although Dark Flame and Shadowland are close behind. They are much better than Evermore and Blue Moon imo.

OMG!! two of my friends got me the house of night series for my birthday.. lol.. i read the series during a vacation.. and i really didnt like it much.. and now i have two complete series of them..... now i really do know karma comes with books too silent
