Do we have to arm ourselves, if it turns out that the trolls would besiege this site, the way they're already doing on Gaia Online? ^ Yes. Arming ourselves isn't such a bad idea. You might want to do that in real life too. 'Cause you never know when you'll stumble upon a insane Twilight fan, while voicing your opinion on the books.

Exactly what i've been feeling, as of late...although...to be honest...i really am wishing that Rose and her fellow Guardians would just arm themselves with Guns that actually have Mercury Bullets within the ammo Clips, and Weapons made out of Strigoi Bones, for that matter, because if you ask me, they would come in handy, right about now.

I know, Kim...but people like you...for all any of us would know...might be overshadowed by the morons, by now...if that wasn't the case, already. I know that Glemer's one of the few reasonable ones...he's one of my friends from Gaia Online, in case you're wondering.

| I loved Twilight, still do, but probably not as much anymore after I've read Vampire Academy. Although I've always felt that the only thing Twlight had going on or the one good thing about the books was the existence of Edward Cullen. The book was flawed and I hated Bella, yet I still loved the books. lol... just so weird.
Vampire Academy on the otherhand, I love inside and out (so far). The storyline and characters are intriguing. Everything about it amazes me.
I was hesitant at first though, after Twlight I didn't think I would like, much less love, another book about vampires. It was after much internal debate that I finally decided I'd give VA a try and I'm so glad I did.
haha when Dimitri was first introduced my thoughts were, 'Hm... lets see how you rival Edward...' now, four books later, I would say I love Dimitri much more than Edward, I think part of that might be due to the fact that Edward didn't face many obstacles... so I blame the author for that, rather than the character.

I think I know what you mean. Before I was fully converted, I still loved the story. It was just the characters and the grammar that got me irritated. Even now, I just read it because I need something to read. I still get mad at Bella and Edward for their stupidity but it's a book that you wouldn't mind reading just for the heck of it.

haha yes exactly. A lot of the things make me want to pull at my hair, but still I would say I like the books. lol... it must be Edward. - Tonystark616 wrote:

Weird. I thought Edward Cullen was the most annoying person in the Twilight books. =/ But like you, I didn't like Twilight as much as I used to after reading Vampire Academy and other vampire books. And the more I thought about it, the more I disliked the series. The movie didn't really help much, either...especially the people they cast. All the actors/actresses made the characters look dull and boring, imo.

| ^ Yes. I supported Jacob 100%. I loved him to death, until I saw the trailer for New Moon. Gosh, the actor playing Jacob is horrible. ;_; No offense to anyone that likes Taylor Lautner... And I didn't think Bella was so bad. I mean, I hated her in the third book, but in the other 3 books I thought she was ok. I've read books with more annoying characters than Bella, believe me. | |

| Ah I see. I actually liked both Edward and Jacob. The actors and actresses for the movies though are very... disappointing. Taylor is far from being what I imagined Jacob to look like, but I think he's still better than Robert Pattinson being choosen for Edward. =X Bella was alright for books 1 and 2, but once we got to book 3 and 4, I really couldn't stand her anymore. Personally, I think both Edward and Jacob could do better without her. | |

| ^ I agree with you on that. Taylor Lautner as Jacob is far better than Robert Pattinson as Edward. I swear I thought it was an April fools joke when they announced Robert Pattinson as Edward >_< Ok...that was mean... but still. I didn't think Bella was annoying in the fourth book, I thought Edward was. Actually, Edward was annoying in all the books. He was so controlling and he tried way too hard to be "sweet", imo. His dialogue in the books and movie were cheesy: "You are my life now" "Without you Bella, my life is like a moonless night" "Take good care of my heart, I've left it with you." (or something like that.) "Do I dazzle you?" I know those quotes are supposed to make me "swoon", but I cringed instead. x_x | |

| LOL! But I agree. Robert Pattinson had never crossed my mind to fit the role of Edward. The problem I had with Bella was (imo) how selfish, stubborn, and stupid she was. Almost everything she did annoyed me. Supposedly she cares for Edward and Jacob, but she still hurts them over and over again. What disgusted me the most was her talk with Jacob about "what they could have been" and how much she wanted that. Uh... I'm fine with whoever she chooses, but can she please make up her mind? It wasn't fair to either of the guys. <__< The dialogue in the book was still bearable, and I did think it was sweet sometimes, but actually hearing the lines from the book come out of the mouths of the actors and actresses was too much. lol... like "the lion fell in love with the lamb"... seriously... | |

| I guess that's all the more reason for Rick Riordan to have been the one to write the climaxes to each of the novels instead of Meyer, because at least then, the fighting wouldn't get Censored! | |

| i agree the whole lion fell in love with the lamb thing was stupid and well it just sounded stupid comeing out of robs mouth and the ''your my own personal band of heroin'' thing was stupid to i mean who would ever tell someone that alest in vampire academy the things Rose and Dimitri say to each other make sence and acually have more meaning than ''and so the lion fell in love with the lamb'' i hope new moon isn't as wired plus i like Rose and Dimitri better than Edward and Bella cause Bella's not half as wild and spontaeous as Rose.
Plus the whole forbidden love thing is more so with Rose Dimitri than with Edward and Bella
