| It's just....they're animals.....and I guess it might be an insult to you because you're an animal to but...animals are hectic
and I can't drink cold root beer, it has fat and cholesterol and by that I don't mean I'm on a diet or something...I mean that it's and impurity and if I drink it them I get sick | |

| Has anyone else read Dragon's Oath? I loved it . I'm surprised by how much I loved it. It was romantic. It was tragic. It was so well written and delivered. I was surprised at how good the writing was. I always thought with this series, the Casts write down to the readers trying too hard for the teenage voice. That always annoyed me. But, this novella didnt have the teenager staring characters and the language was in a different time set, it was just so much more fluid and pretty. Spoilers! - Spoiler:
If you sit there and really analyze the happenings of the story, you do get a little eye rolling- annoyed. Its oh so convenient for the plot of the series of Dragon to have encountered a Raven Mocker in the past. You know what i mean? But, if you don't take the convenience of it all, it's really a great story. I liked it alot. ANd like i said it was delivered way better than any of the actual book in the series. I found it so romantic. Dragon's anger and resentment and stubbornness that i didnt understand in the last book and quite frankly just thought he was being a stubborn d***...Now, i just see him with sadness and sympathy.

I haven't read it yet (it's sitting on my shelf waiting though) but - Spoiler:
Dragon's reactions and hate for the Raven Mockers makes more sense. I mean I always understood him hating them cause of them killing his mate but after Nyx came and did all she did, I just didn't get him. I'm going to have to read this soon.

| You should definitely read it Rhia. I just finished Dragon's Oath and I loved it. Liked it even more than the regular series novels. It was a nice change from Zoey and the other fledglings. I look forward to the next book. - Spoiler:
I loved getting Dragon's and Anastasia's stories. It was sweet and funny. But OMG the ending just broke my heart! Poor Draqon. I understand his pain now, but I hate seeing him let go of the man Anastasia loved. That part where he threw the locket in the pyre and she appeared and tlaked ot him them went into Nyx's arms crying. Oh man I broke down. I get why he feels the way he does. I mean he blames himself and that alone will drive you crazy but....UGH! Blah i'm a jumbled mess atm lol. Damn Kalona! As if I didn't hate him enough already, the Casts had to throw in that little bit about Kalona after Dragon released the raven mocker making me despise him even more. I hope Kalona gets what he deserves and I hope he doesn't take Dragon down with him. Poor Anastasia!  okay I'm done...I think
