| Ela: Breaking Dawn imho is the best one so far. It's really good. It's gory, but I personally think it's tolerable. And X-Men First Class is good too. It's been a long day. I've spent the morning at a surgical center with my mom. She was getting a test done. Then I came home to find out that ups delivered my package to the wrong address AGAIN! So I track it through the phone and get the address to the place it was delivered which was just down the street from me. So I go over there and the lady there told me the only package she received was for her husband which she showed me. So I get on the phone with the customer service center and the lady put me on hold and confirmed with the lady at that address. Then she put me on hold again so she can contact the branch that was delivery my books. After about 5 mins on hold she tells me she can't get a hold of them but she'll keep trying and will call me back within an hour. An hour passes by and she called me back telling me that she can't get anyone at that store to answer the phone and that she left them an URGENT MESSAGE which basically meant they better call back. After about 1.5 hours, the branch calls me. The girl there told me she will get in contact with the driver and get me my package by the end of the day. Well a couple hours pass and another guy from that branch calls me back saying that they can't get in touch with the driver but they will leave a message for him to go pick up the package and deliver it to me on monday or Tuesday. I then told him that the package isn't at that location but he just told me that he'll leave a message for the driver. I was SO effin pissed that I just hung up. I couldn't say anything. My hubby finally took my phone and called Barnes and Noble and they are extremely upset over it. The lady there said that shoul NOT have happened. So she put in another order for me which should ship Friday and be here Monday or Tuesday and she emailed me a return label in case ups finally gets me my package. After my hubby hung up with her he called the customer service center and talked to a guy there. Needless to say theres a delviery guy that is in a bit of trouble. The guy gave us the ups store location and we're going up there Friday morning. I'm just so sick adn tired of this mess. One mistake I can understand, but twice in 3 days?! On top of that they don't know where the hell the package is! So yeah, I'm pissed. This one delivery guy is making the entire company look bad. I mean I know it's not the whole company's fault, but the driver and the store he works for. I preordered the books on Nov. 10th. They were released on the 15th and shipped on the 16th. Now it's supposed to be a 3 day shipment which means I should have gotten it on the 19th which was that Saturday. But there was a delay. Not a biggie so it would be delivered on monday the 21st. And then all this crap happened. Blah. Sorry for all the ranting : / | |

| Tasha: Lol, you're right, it was supposed to be "soon", but I'm glad it made you laugh!
Ela: Breaking Dawn was pretty awesome. I thought it was Kristen's best movie in the series so far, she seemed to actually be acting like someone other than herself. I was super impressed. But it was also the funniest Twilight movie to date...I don't mean like the lines were hilarious (although some of them were), just some of the special effects were so bad I couldn't stop laughing. Definitely worth seeing though.
Wilda: I'm glad B&N are sending it out again, you've been screwed over too many times already and it's not fair. I hope you get a better driver this time, because that's just ridiculous. How can you screw that up twice?
I found out today that my copy of The Pledge was only sent last wed/thurs (England's wed, my thurs)...so I was jumping the gun a bit expecting it to have arrived already when it usually takes 7-10 days and today would be day 7.
Took mum to the optometrist today and I ended up getting a free pair of sunglasses. I'm trying to get used to them, because they're not like the ones I usually buy, but I was told they're very in right now, and who passes up free sunnies?

| I thought Breaking Dawn was alright. Rob and Taylor were better. Kristen, still don't like her acting. Liked the wedding speeches that they added. I liked the sets too. Thought it was a bit slow especially the honeymoon. The birth scene definetly had the gore factor.
Saw water for elephants today. Great movie. Rob's much better in it.
Still waiting on my books from the book depo. Usually since there is no shipping costs I get one or two books at a time this time its 3 thats shipped together. So I'm feeling really anxious too. Hopefully we all will get what we're waiting for by the weekend.
Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

| Celebrated my grandparents' 50th Wedding Anniversary last night. It was a ncie evening. Although it was the first time I've ever celebrated their anniversary, until about a month ago we couldn't remember the date of their wedding day because they never make a big deal about it. My dad and his sister spent days and days trying to work out when it was. They could remember it was in November and they were married on a Saturday. So they went back to the year and looked up what days the Saturdays fell on...it was all big and complicated, but we managed to work it out. Going to my sister's tomorrow and having packed yet I've worked out what books I'm bring (get the important stuff out of the way first), but so far the only clothing I have settled is a dress for the Races (Horse racing). Although thats I funny story. I went shopping with my Twin yesterday to find a dress and ended up getting this gorgeous strapless dress, black bodice and a peachy-pink bottom. When we got home and I tried it on to show mum and my older sister, O.S gapped at the dress, ran upstairs and came back down with a dress hidden under her shirt. She then told me this long winded story (much like the one I'm telling you now) about how she bought this dress online and it turned out to be too big for her and she thought it'd be perfect for me for the races and then threw it at me. It was the EXACT same dress. Well, not exact: Strapless, black bodice, peachy-pink bottom...but her's had a bow at the front. Seriously, what are the odds? So now I have to pick between the two, but at least I know what colours I'll be wearing | |

| I'm bringing my ereader with me, so I'm taking a lot But the unread ones are: The Shadow Reader, The Girl in the Steel Corset, Daughter of Smoke & Bone and Carrier of the Mark. But I think I'll take the next Wicca book with me and maybe Black Dagger Brotherhood #6, but I haven't decided about those two yet...I think have enough on the ereader and unless I plan on not sleeping all week, I probably won't get through them all. I should decide soon though, because we leave some time this morning (...knowing my sister it won't be until late in the morning. I'll be sitting around bored and waiting to go, and she'll still be throwing all her stuff together.) | |

| Who needs sleep when you cna read instead? As much as I prefer to have the actual book in my hands, ereaders are so much easier to deal with. You can carry hundreds of books in just one little bag. I've been holding off on buying one, but it's time I jump on board and get one. Especially being that some books are only available in ebook format. Have fun at your sister's Kim and let me know how those books are | |

| I like mine, but only some ebooks are available in Australia so I'm still limited. But it does mean I can bring almost 30 books away with me (because I only own 30) and I don't take up as much room in the car as I used to. | |

| Kim, hope you have fun at your sisters! And i agree, who needs sleep when you have books About the ereader thing. I barely use my Kindle. If i have the book, i prefer to read the hard copy. But, when i go out or vacation it does make traveling ALOT easier and luggage alot lighter. I love my Kindle, but i can't bring myself to buy a hard copy AND an e copy. So i usually end up buying the actually book. But, i'm not gunna lie, i do download books for the kindle. Not a fan of pirating books but it's mostly to series I already own so i can have the option of when and how to read. ANd i do get loads of the free kindle books. If i had the money, i think i would buy the hard copies of books and shelf them for display and read only ebooks. But I don't have the money for that. So it's either/or for me. For those in the states with Amazon Prime, they have a new kindle option...the kindle library. which you basically can borrow books for free. But i didnt look into it much cause idont have Amazon Prime. Libby- If moving is an option i say go for it. I would move in a heartbeat if I could. Hope you get things sorted out in what you want to do. You can always move back if things dont work out right? | |

| Tasha: I had that issue last night, it was 11pm and I was dead tired...but I started a new book anyway I've done that a few times, bought an ebook and loved it so much that I bought a real copy too. I have a couple of priate books, but they're usually because I was impatient waiting for my real copy to arrive in the mail, and I'm not planning on reading the illegal copies anymore, what's the point with the real ones on my shelf? I guess I could read them if I'm away, although one isn't compatable with my ereader anyway, so I can only read it on the computer...sort of defeats the purpose. Libby- Ugh, I'm sorry the elections aren't going the way you want. Yes! You should totally move to Aust So far being at my sister's is fine, haven't been here for that long though, haha. All I've done is the washing up, she had stacks of dishes lying around everywhere, it was a bit gross, but they're all SUPER clean now. And she's letting me use her internet stick during the day, so yay! | |

| Kim, that was nice of you to wash up your sister's dishes for her Libby, I agree with Tasha. I'm all for moving to Australia. If I could move there, I so would. Tasha, most of the books I've downloaded for the Nook and Kindle apps are the real cheap ones that are less than $5. I think I only have two I paid full price for which is Last Sacrifice and Pale Demon (Hollows 9) by Kim Harrison all cause I couldn't wait for my hubby to get home so i could go to the store. We only had 1 car back then. Thankfully now we have 2 so I can just go as soon as the store opens. If it's a book I really want to read I'll either get the book itself or get it from the library. Otherwise I just catch the ebooks when they are on sale. My package came in today. The girl banged on my door yelled UPS and then hauled ass before I could even get to the door. She was on a golf car with a bunch of ups packages. I guess she's some kind of helper for my subdivision. Idk, still pisses me off that she failed to deliver it twice. Anyways. the package is roughed up a bit. Looks like someone played soccer with it I opened it and made sure everything was there. I'm tempted to call the store and raise hell a bit but I'm honestly just over it. I'll send this beat up package back once the replacement package gets here which should be Tues or Wed. My other packages should be here Thursday. I did some black friday shopping from the safety of my home on the computer. I ordered The first two season of True Blood for $10 each and a couple more items. I'm so excited for them to come in. I've been wanting to watch the series but have never wanted to pay $50-$60 for each season. Anyways, my best friend is going to come over one night and we're going to have a True Blood night. Should be fun | |

| Wilda: I'm glad your package turned up, though it sucks that it's so beaten up. I hope the replacement one is better and I'm glad you'll be able to send the first ones back. Have you watched True Blood before? If you haven't stick with the first few episodes because they're a bit full-on, but get HEAPS better.
Still waiting for my books to turn up. I've got my mum and sister on book watch, they have to open up all book depository packages until they find 'The Pledge'...hopefully it'll be the first one to arrive and they won't have to open their christmas presents which are also on the way. I totally didn't think throught the buying books online thing very well for this time of the year.
Hope everyone's having a good day.

| Hey everyone!
Wilda, I'm glad your stuff is finally turning up.
Kim, hope your having a good time at your sisters.
I had a rocky day. I felt like i've been blindsided today. I know the hubby has been on a two month break, and he still gets sick alot. But it's more or less OKAY. Nothing too bad or too serious. It's been better. THen yesterday a part of his tooth fell out. He's been having a toothache on and off for months but it always went away and he put it off cause he was scared to have the open sore while on cancer treatment.. But, yesterday it got so bad for him we FINALLY went to the dentist today. And he needs to have oral surgery ASAP. They did a bunch of xrays and poking and prodding. They set us up for tomorrow. Apparently the radiation and combination of regular wisdom teeth problems... the tooth was rotted out and infected down to the bone. They can't do a simple extraction. SO tomorrow they are going to put him to sleep and work on his tooth. But, all the testing they did on him today made it WAY worse for the pain. They gave him pain meds and it did absolutely nothing. And it brought back all the memories.
I'm not ready for him to start cancer treatments again. ALl the doctors, hospitals and sickness. The worry. The pharmacy runs. The helplessness. It's not necessary the tooth I'm freaking out over. Its the pain he's going through now and thinking about the cancer stuff starting up again next week. I never ever forget, even for a second , that he has cancer. BUt the past two months I almost, almost was able to forget how sick he gets. It sucks so much and I just hope I have the same strength and efficiency i did before.

You will find the strength to get through it. And when you feel too tired, jsut let it out. Come here, cry, vent, scream, whatever. You can call/text me anytime if you wanna talk. | Thanks Wilda. I love you all lots and i seriously don't know what i would do without you all here to vent to and escape too.
I just dont understand why bad things keep happening to go people. I really don't. I can't stand it anymore. I really can't. It hurts so much watching the hubby going through one situation after another. It's a cruel , cruel universe, karma , God, whatever it is that makes the world go round. How are we supposed to appreciate the good times when we are just being fed bad situation after bad situation.
The hubby went for his oral surgery yesterday. He was scared and freaking out but in a lot of pain But,things seemed to be going smoothly. The office was empty, We were the first ones there. No one really came after wards. I mean we opened the office, we were there before the gate was even up. Everyone was being nice (though they were speaking in spanish mostly so i couldn't understand a thing) but the hubby speaks spanish and he didn't seem upset or put off about anything they were talking about. I was just a couple doors down from the hubby sitting in the waiting chairs when they took him. He wanted to be sedated for this. He was in there for 45 mins or so and then i hear him SCREAMING. They bring me to him and he is in shock, bloody mouth, crying, cursing, screaming. He said he woke up midway through the surgery but was still paralyzed and couldnt move or speak or open his eyes. BUt he heard and felt everything. The second he got control back is when he started yelling. I didn't know WHAT was happening. I know the oral surgeon high tailed it before i even got in the room. I was so concerned and worried and confused i was just trying to comfort him. It was just unthinkable. The hubby was just traumatized and wanting to leave and i was just so wrapped up in trying to understand what was going on and comfort him we left so suddenly. In the car he was crying and cursing out God. He said why would God wake him up, why would God make him feel that. Then he started repeating conversations he heard while he was being worked and making drilling noises and repeating instructions. All i wanted to do was cry but i couldn't.
He had night mares all night. And unbelievable pain. Today he's been having anxiety attacks sporadically. In the afternoon, the top of right jaw was hurting. It was the bottom left wisdom tooth that was supposed to be extracted( they did take it out). But he was in front the mirror looking at his mouth and he said he can't see his top right wisdom tooth and it's hurting him there. So he felt around and he didn't feel it but says he feels a stitch. So he had me try to feel, and i'm not a dentist but i think i felt a whole and not a tooth. Meaning, the oral surgeon took out more teeth than he was instructed to do. The hubbys primary dentist said he just needed that one broken infected wisdom removed that all his other teeth are fine. She made a referral to the oral surgeon for that one tooth. The hubby told the staff and oral surgeon ONE tooth and the oral surgeon said he was just gunna work on the one tooth. He didn't consent to more than one tooth being taken out.
The hubby's dentist only takes walk ins early morning so i knew we wouldnt have a great chance walking in, so i tried calling all day but i kept getting a busy signal or the phone ringing out. I dont even know if they are open tomorrow but we are going to try to go. Get a professional to look at his teeth and confirm what was done.
That set the hubby into overdrive. The shock and anxiety has gotten worse. He feels violated.
We are filling out an application for a lawyer's program tomorrow. It's not about suing for money. The hubby wasn't interested in suing yesterday when we came home from the oral surgeon. He just was traumatized and in shock and trying to cope and more concerned about wrapping his mind around what happened and moving on. But to think the surgeon did something else he didnt consent too? Thats a violation. The hubby didn't deserve to be put through that Nor does anyone. It's about proper medical practice and righting a wrong. I don't know why these things keep happening to the hubby. It's not right. Why do we have to be the example. Why can't someone else. Cancer isn't enough? A cancer that comes back in 3-5 years? It's just so wrong. It's all wrong.

| Oh Tasha! I am SO sorry that happened to him. I saw on fb about him waking up but not about the rest. I can't even begin to imagine how traumatized he is from it. I hope you get to see his dentist today and find out what exactly happened and I hope that he recovers from this soon and comes out on top. He's been through far too much already to have to add something like that to the list. I know this isn't much, but I'm sending lots of love, support, and comfort your way! | |

| Tasha, I'm so sorry you and your hubby have been put through all this. That is horrible, horrible treatment and you should definitely be pursuing it. You're right, it's not about money, it's about making sure that your hubby is put at ease for the trauma. That's unacceptable treatment to have a patient be immobile, but awake while their teeth are being pulled and then to run out of the room instead of sticking around to deal with the problem (a hell of a lot of apologising etc.) I hope your hubby is doing alright, and that you both aren't stressing too much *hugs* | |

| I went book shopping today. Wanted to buy about 6 books today (one of which was Clockwork Prince, but it wasn't in stores yet...my stores are so slow with books). Found Under the Never Sky, which I've heard is a fantastic book, but didn't buy it...instead I put it on a christmas list and gave it to my sister. I'll probably regret doing that tomorrow when I realise I want to buy UtNS, but I'll live. Bought Crave by Melissa Darnell instead. I'm still waiting for 2 books from Book Depository: The Pledge and Some Girls Bite. I'm guessing they're lost in transit somewhere. I contacted BD about Some Girls Bite already and they said to wait until Tuesday before we did anything, well it's Tuesday today so I contacted them again and I'm just waiting for a reply now. Talked to the blogger about The Pledge, she asked me to wait until the end of the week before she'll contact them to get it sent again. But I really don't think they're coming. Books I bought as christmas presents all arrived last week and they were sent out a week later than The Pledge and Some Girls Bite...it doesn't make sense that they're still not here. Going to the Becca Fitzpatrick 'Black Hand Ball' signing tomorrow. I've been trying to pick a dress to wear. I've narrowed it down to 2, but it'll all come down to which one hides my sun burn best, because I missed a few spots on my chest when I was putting sunblock on the other day for the Races and it's not a pretty sight I know at least one dress covers the burns, it's winning so far. Wilda, did your replacement books ever turn up so you could keep the less-battered copies? Tasha, How is your hubby and how did the lawyer talks go? Hope everyone is well. | |

| Kim-Yeah, they arrived two days after the other ones. I've gotta get the other ones shipped off today or tomorrow. I hope you have a fabulous time at the Ball! I've always wanted to go to something like that but the closest thing thats ever come here is the Twilight conventions Which there is one this coming weekend. *Makes note to stay clear of that particular area* Anyways...It doesn't make sense that the books that shipped a week later have arrived and the others haven't. Hopefully it's just a minor delay and they show up soon. | |
