So Jill...this reminds me of that scene in Sky High, from where Will Stronghold is trying to live up to his family's reputation, when he had to fight a guy who was struggling to live down his father's past, Warren Peace, his name was.

The shocking thing about the scene, is that Will Stronghold and his family reminded me of exactly what the Percy Jackson And The Olympians fans are doing everything in their power to live up to, when it comes to Fantasy, while if twilight is Baron-Battle-like armies, that the Vampire Academy Fanbase in general reminded me of Warren Peace, and how he struggled to live down a negative Legacy, just as Vampire Academy fans need help, doing right!

I completely agree. I LOVE both series and I hate it when ppl seem to think you have to choose between them. They are both great books. If it weren't for Twilight though I would have never read VA. I hated anything vampire related and then i watched twilight the movie. I loved it so I read the books. After reading Twilight the book I disliked the movie though. However the NM movie was amazing I will say that. anyways I'm torn between wanting VA turned into a movie and not wanting it turned into a movie. I don't want VA to turn into the same thing Twilight has become with all the screaming fans. But it would be awesome to see it come to life but without all the screaming girls...blah back to my point. Twilight and VA are two completely different series and should be kept that way and not compared...

Apparently, reactions-wise, i had the opposite reaction when it comes to the earlier Potter-World movies, as i felt that the movies started out strong, but went weaker, as they go along, which is the opposite of the novels, as book 01 was weak[but less weak than Vampire Academy Book 01, though!]but they grew significantly stronger by each novel.

As for Percy Jackson And The Olympians, needless to say, this is the literary series that started out strong, and stayed strong, right to the end of the Second Titanomachy[in modern terms, The Titanomachy means The Titan War, and yes, the Titans at their prime would easily make mincemeat out of Valentine's and Voldemort's lot with 2 hands tied behind their backs, without really trying, even!and the Moroi must be thinking the Titan War's stupid...well, its less idiotic a mess than what the Moroi's ancestors unleashed in the Strigoi, because at least the 1st Titan War Ended, but the Moroi are still stuck, being worse off than the Olympian Gods, even, in their mess!Although its somewhat justified, i almost wish the Titans were at their Prime, so they'd wipe out the Strigoi without really trying, because in the 2nd Titan War, most of them weren't even at their Prime!]

The development of the Demigods and Badass normals felt more organic than the Potter-World's overall cast[except for the Black Brothers, The Weasleys, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Harry Potter at Book 07, and even Hermione and Neville, plus Snape and Lupin, for that matter!]not to mention their own Prophecy was even better-explored than the Potter-World's[all the more reason why i don't want it butchered, if it must be changed, as its 5-dimensional, too!]And overally speaking, the Battles of P.J.A.T.O were even better than most of the Potter-World battles, as well, in more ways than one.

They even managed to Apply Capture The Flag in an epic fashion, although its not Quidditch, it beats Vampire Baseball, by far, though.

sorry everybody im back. my wireless modem went up in a blaze of glory over xmas. I just got my new one put in this week. Now tonight my kindle decided to freeze up on me and since its new years eve I can't contact tech support. I was 10 pages away from finishing this book I spent all day reading. right as it was getting good to. urg!! me and electronics are not getting along good right now first xmas was ruined now NYE. I want to cry, if it doesnt get resolved tomarrow I'm going to have to go buy the book. My whole night is ruined, I had a new one i planned on starting tonight.

thank god Avatar is leaving new moon in the dust. Avatar is a savior to the movie world right now. finally a movie that earned and rightfully deserves praises. I have been so sick about hearing the advertisements for new moon, i have never seen the movie and couldn't stand all the stupid press it was getting. Now it is left in the dust thank goodness. I guess that's something, along with the fact you'd get to learn more about Rose's parents, as well[her parents are a much-needed boon for Rose and company on making the series readable, for me, really!]
