| Finished Matched. It was pretty good. A bit on the slow side. Looking forward to the sequel. Anyone have the date for its release?
Going to start on the last Saint tonight sequel to the dark divine.

| Crossed (Matched's sequel) is supposed to come out on 1st November. I don't know if that's the same release date for Aus/NZ, but I suspect it is. Penguin is pretty good at getting the same release dates.
Started and finished City of Fallen Angels on Thursday. Really good book...it's a shame we have to wait a year for the next one *sigh* Currently reading Morganville #8

| Finished reading Chime by Franny Billingsley today. There are no words for how much I loved it. I was almost tempted to flip it back over and start it again, but I had other things I had to do. lol | |

| You're doing pretty well yourself My biggest problem with the series isn't so much about the books themselves, but about how Australia got them. We only got the rights in December and by mid-February we had all 9 books (I know they were doing that because Rachel Caine is coming to Australia in may and they wanted to be up-to-date with the book releases etc....but it's annoying having so many books released at once) I think #6 is my fave so far (Carpe Corpus). | |

| yup I'm sure of the fact that I'm on book #7 because the last one I read was Carpe Corpus. but right now I'm hoping above all things for no Mercury in retrograde cause that would suck even more for me then it would for everyone else. | |

(I can probably think of more, but those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head)

I've got some books to recommend too!! Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder *Outside In Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder *Magic Study *Fire Study Basically anything by Maria V. Snyder is good in my opinion. She's one of my favorite authors. I really love her Study series the best, but I'm very fond of Inside Out because it was the first I'd ever read of her work. Also because Riley is too freaking adorable. Chime by Franny Billingsley It's like a fairy tale!! My favorite book this year so far. Ah, I loved it so much. Eldric was a cutie. And you can't help but feel for Briony. Poor girl. Nevermore by Kelly Creagh If you're a Poe fan you might be interested in this one. There's a lot of imagination here. I can't wait for Enshadowed next January!! Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins Unearthly by Cynthia Hand Wither by Lauren DeStefano The Dark Divine by Bree Despain Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys The Iron Witch by Karen Mahoney The Vespertine by Saundra Mitchell

On top of The Mortal Instruments, Nightshade, The Hunger Games, Wicked Lovely, Demon Trappers Daughter, Matched, The Dark Divine, and Beautiful Creatures, (haven't read the others listed) I recommend: Darkness Becomes Her by Kelly Keaton 13 To Life by Shannon Delaney Glimmerglass (Faeriewalker 1) by Jenna Black The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa Clockwork Angel (Infernal Devices 1) by Cassandra Clare *note: you do not have to read The Mortal Instruments first, but imo its better if you do. Soul Screamer Series by Rachel Vincent I have tons more I can list

I loved Anna and the French Kiss! It was such a good book! Also, Ash, have you read Wither and is it good? I've got a twitter friend who won an ARC of it and she said it was amazing, but it hasn't been released over here yet. So, thoughts?

I actually haven't read it yet (just the first chapter) so I can't really say anything, but I've only heard good things about it. I'm really looking forward to reading it.

She's told me about this part early on where Etienne is all "You better feed that thing. Unless..." lmao I'm definitely looking forward to reading that one too.

| I read it in early february, so I don't actually remember that line...but Etienne is just awesome. It's the sort of book I'd categorise with Melina Marchetta/Sarah Dessen novels: real life, self-discovery, fun! So yeah, I think you really would love it. | |
