ooooohhhh I think I might read Shades of Grey when it gets to Pa.................................LOL I just rhymed that entire sentence................I'm a poet and I didn't know it..............guess it's cause of my namesake the Celtic goddess Rhiannon who is the goddess of poetic incantations

Both Wither and Between Shades of Grey are on my tbr list. I have soooo many books to read but only 1 me. It's hard to choose what to read next -_-

Well, I'm now sort of reading two books at once.
I started 'The Iron Daughter' last night because I ran out of Morganville books and I wasn't going to the shops until today...and then I found Enticed at the store...So now I'm stopping Iron Daughter to read Enticed, because I've been obsessing about it the last couple of days.

I'll probably restart The Iron Daughter when I get up to it so I haven't forgotten what happened.

This is why I should always wait until mid-morning to start a new book *sigh*

never read The Forest of Hands and Teeth before you go to bed or else you'll get nightmares *shivers*

Is it a good book though? because I've been considering finding it

personally it creeps me out enough when the sun's up so I wouldn't recomend it but if you want to read it you can, but right now I'm currently reading The Secret Hour

It's sad time for me. This month will be the first in years I won't finish a book.
Never been so busy.
Had to return Matched when it got interesting. I'll get it back this week hopefully.
Reading the Goblet of Fire its been my secondary book for ages.

Ugh, sucks that you have to return matched. The end really is more interesting that the rest of it.

Just finished 'Enticed' by Jessica Shirvington. Oh, My God! Such a fantastic book! I loved it even more than the first one, which is hard to do because Embrace was a fabulous book. Enticed was emotionally draining, but that just made me love it more. You can't help but get sucked into the plot and you end up giving the characters everything you've got. It's insane, but SO good. I can't believe I have to wait until October for the next one. Matched? Entice? never heard of them

Matched is by Ally Condie. It's a dystopia and it's pretty good. I love the cover for it too, and it's sequel Crossed has a gorgeous cover.
Enticed is the second book in the Violet Eden Chapters, it's by Jessica Shirvington (and Australian author)...so far the seriesis only out in Australia and NZ (as far as I know) but I've seen a German cover for book 1 (Embrace) that's being released soon and the US is getting Embraced sometime at the end of the year. I adore the series.


Currently reading Defiance, Strange Angels #4. I'm only 8 chapters in and loving it...but I've heard the ending is getting shaky.

I couldn't get into Matched. Bah. I wanted to like it. I just didn't. Probably because it focuses too damn much on the love triangles. Bleh.

No wonder why I haven't heard of those books you've been reading Kim!! lol I tried looking them up but couldn't find anything. What's the series about? I might have to check them out when they release in the US.

Gah. Kim, I hear you talk about Strange Angels and all I can think is how much I wanted to like it. I liked Graves sooo much but Dru really frustrated me. I don't know if I could get into it if I tried again.

I finished Between Shades of Gray early this morning after running out to the bookstore the other day. It was really really wonderful and achingly sad. I'd hoped for a little more from the epilogue, but I guess I got just enough. Enough to make me think. I'm still thinking about Lina and her family.

I don't spoil books for others as a matter of principle. I've had it done to me and I don't intend to do it to anyone else.

Ash: It's a fallen angels series. There are 2 types of Fallen Angels (or exiles): Angels of light and Angels of dark. Then there are the hlaf-angels, the Grigori, who have the power to return (essentially kill) the exiles. Violet finds out she's one of these half-angels and she's has to make the decision to either join the Grigori or ignore them. It is a love triangel series, there's two guys...and usually you like one guy over the other, but it's really hard not to love both guys. They're just awesome. I have picked the guy I like the most, but it doesn't mean I hate the other guy. I won't tell you who they are, but anyway, it's a really good series. I'll see if I can find the first chapter for you later.

I'm still loving strange angels. I love it for Chris and Ash (the werwulf), but I'm hearing bad things about this current book. I think Australia got Defiance earlier than everyone else...we actually weren't supposed to get it until tomorrow, but the stores started releasing it early, and I'm not going to complain about an early release

I really liked Matched. Well the 3/5 of it I read. I'm not that into the love triangle as I am in the social constructs in it.

Thrown Embrace on my to read list. Won't get to it for a while. Its like no 18.
Then again I don't read stuff from it in order.

Did pick up Strange angles a while ago but it seemed bleh.

Between Shades of Gray is by Ruta Sepetys. It's a really beautiful story. But you should prepare yourself for some very heartbreaking moments. I mean, it's pretty much expected with this sort of content. It's about a seventeen year old Lithuanian girl during the time of the Soviet deportations in the 1940s. The original soundtrack that was composed for the novel is definitely worth listening to. You can find a link to it in the "Bonus Materials" section of Sepetys's website.

Finished Defiance this morning...it ends oddly, but that only makes me want the next one more.

I have no idea what I'll read next, probably The Iron Daughter since I started it before and didn't finish it...but I don't think i'll do any reading right now. Not in the mood.

lmao J.R. Ward posted a short teaser for the release of Lover Unleashed and towards the end of the clip talked about how she didn't know which character's story she would tell next when she submitted the manuscript for Unleashed. It was "disconcerting" because she always knew who would come next. She discussed the problem with her editor and then went on to say (and here was where I got all excited), "I can exclusively tell people it's going to be---" and that's where the video ended. I was like "AUGH!! You have GOT to be kidding me!!!".

It's hilariously frustrating how she toys with us. lol

This sounds like Fallen? We're talking about that now?? I'm really confused.... I've only read Fallen, not Torment or any of the others. How many are there, by the by?

It's an Australian series called The Violet Eden Chapters. All fallen angel books sound similar...I've read a few recently and their back covers are all the same "Fallen Angels, mysterious guys, life changing decisions" ... but I LOVE the Violet Eden Chapters so much more than the other Angel books I've read. They're just fun

I brought 4 books with me on vacation and I have yet to open one. I think I'm going to start Firelight tomorrow. Hopefully. *Sigh*

I keep trying to find out a release date for the US, but I just can't seem to find one anywhere.

Finally got my hands on another copy of Matched so I can finish it.
