| Yeah, I'm hoping to work it out soon too. Still no email from them, but it hasn't been 24 hours yet. | |

| Kim, i'm anxious for you lol. Do they have a phone number? If so try giving them a call. It's so much faster and then nerve wrecking just to get a hold of an actual human , for me , in these situations. | |

| I think they do, but since they're a UK based organisation I'm not game to call England and wait for someone to talk to me. It'd cost more than rebuying the $10 book. I'm waiting another hour and a half for them to reply (because then it would be 24 hours...or close to it) then I'm going to tweet them and send another email via their "help" email account and not just the "contact us" form. My mum says not to worry too much, that they'll get back to me. But I want a solution now, not in a few days time when I could be trying to get the book again. I'm not going to rebuy it yet though...I want to try and solve this problem before I cave and do that. | |

| It took 7 days and 3 emails for me to get a refund. Don't worry they'll get back to you. My lecture was cancelled this morning so I didn't have to go in. Had a chilled out morning | |

| Well at least that's a time frame I can work off. Thanks Libby EDIT: Got all excited a second ago because I got a new email...but it was from my football club, not book depository. *sigh* I'm pathetic right now, glued to my inbox. EDIT #2: Got onto book depository via Twitter. They're sorting out my problem, reordering/sending the book and I get to keep the one they sent me by mistake. Feeling happier right now. | |

| YAY Kim! I'm glad they got it worked out and you get to keep the one they sent So, yesterday I sprained my left ankle. It freakin sucks. I have 2 little kids to take care of and here I am couch bound and on crutches. My mom is here and helping but I hate having to depend on others to help me. When i want something, I want to be able to get up and get it. Not have to ask someone to get it for me. This is the 4th time I've sprained this ankle. The 3rd time I actually chipped a bone that connected my toes to my foot so I'm lucky a sprain is all it is. | |

| Kim- awesome. Glad it worked out and you get a free book out of it. Is the free book any good?
Wilda- hope your ankle gets better fast. It sucks once you have an injury , its sooo easy to get hurt again. I've sprained my left ankle like 5 times. Well atleast i think it was sprained never went to the docs for it. lol. Which is why my clumsy butt is extra careful. I injure that foot so easily. I dont wish injuries on myself, but for a while i contemplated the welcoming of one, as an excuse for some time off, but then i realized i'll just have to do my care-taking AND be injured so that thought went out the window lol.

| Wilda: Oh No! I'm so sorry about your ankle. Is it really bad or are the crutches just an extra helping-hand thing? I hope you heal soon.
Tasha: It's some pattern book...I'm not really sure. It's hardback and covered in plastic wrap so I haven't opened it yet. I probably won't open it until I get my book again in case what I sorted out yesterday doesn't actually solve the problem.

| Take care of that ankle, Wilda. Hope it heals soon.
Kim, did they never reply to your email? I wouldn't worry since I'm sure the people on Twitter know what they're doing, otherwise they wouldn't correspond with customers through it and would instead direct you to the help on the website.

| Nope, no email reply. Yeah, you're probably right. I'm 99% sure everything will be fine this time around...but I won't really be happy until I have my book. | |

| The crutches were just to help me around the house. I'm able to walk without them now as long as I don't move too fast or put too much pressure on it. The swelling is gone but theres still a nasty bruise on the side of my foot. But it's healing quickly.
I hope you get your book soon, Kim. Have you gotten Forbidden yet?

| Wilda: Forbidden was the book they screwed up. So nope, haven't got it yet. If I'm super lucky I might have it by the end of this week (if they sent it out straight away and if the postman is being friendly. I've got a messed up postcode/zip code system in my area, so there's a good chance it'll take a couple of extra days to get to me) But I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I don't want to go shopping and accidentally run into the book in store, even though the Aussie released date was changed back to Spet 1, so it *should* be in store, but there's a good chance if shipments get in early the chain stores (like kmart and target) will just put them on the shelves. I'm glad you're walking a bit better Wilda and that you apparently have fast healing, jealous! Tasha: Sounds like a fabulous idea tasha, I love spending time with friends, it's always fun I've got my editing graduation tomorrow night. I didn't think we were going to have one, but blow-me-down, yes we are My best editing friend and I are going to swaps some books there too. We're always lending each other things to read, it's awesome. And totally fitting for the editing class to see us swap books again. We pretty much did it every Friday during the course Hope everyone is well | |

| Ohhh Kim, thats so exciting! Happy Graduation! Hope you have a good time and swamp some awesome books with your friend!
So my friends stopped by today. One of them went to an ivy league school for a year for a special pre-med school thing, to help take the MCATS ( i think thats what its called anyway). So, she was so anti-school spirit meanwhile were all like "bring us back stuff that says Harvard on it so we can pretend we went there!" Well she did. So i got a Harvard shirt! I'm totally going to wear it and if anyone stops me and says " you went to Harvard!" i'll smile and go mhmmmm. Lmao.

| I GOT STUCK IN THE LIFT AT GRADUATION...for like 2 minutes. (A lift is an elevator, by the way)
We arrived and instantly went to the lifts, clicked the button for level 1 and it took us to level 8 and then stopped. After clicking level 1 about 5 times trying to make it move we eventually clicked the ground floor again and it took us down. Then we got into another lift and clicked level 1 again, and it took us up. We would have been going all the way to level 8 again though if some maintenance guy wasn't trying to get into the lift on level 1.
The graduation ceremony itself was so relaxed. There was only like 20 people there (well, 20 graduates) so it was over within 20 minutes and then we mingled for a while. And I did swap some good books/get some of my books back. So it was a pretty good night. currently waiting for dinner to be cooked, mum bought frozen pizzas because we weren't sure when we'd get home and she didn't want to cook.

| Congrats on graduation Kim! Sorry you got stuck in the lift. I would have freaked out. I'm not a big fan of elevators. I hoep you get Forbidden in soon. I still have 3 weeks until it releases here LOL Tasha! I'd do the same thing | |

| Wilda: My sister, mum and I panicked. We were instantly like "OH NO! Click to help button!" And my dad calmly went "No, we'll just see if it does something first." He can apparently keep a cool head in a crisis The rest of us were screwed. Yeah, I know the majority of Demon Trappers fans don't have the book yet, and not having it yet doesn't piss me off so much as not knowing if/when they sent the replacement out. I have no record of the replacement being sent again, so I can't go check it out on my book depo account. I just have to wait and hope it turns up in the mail. | |

| Kim- sorry you got stuck in the lift. But, i'm glad you had a nice time at graduation! Sorry you dont have tracking for your replacement. I would be angry/freaking out too. Reading about your incident being stuck in the elevator reminds me of a time a few months ago when my dad was in the hospital...i bumped into our family primary care doctor in the elevator on the first floor and we were on the way up to see my dad when the elevator stops a few floors before his floor... and its my dad in a stretcher just finishing up from testing. So everyone besides the doc gets out the elevator to let my dad on.. u know patient transport first.... and the doors close and they get stuck right there. It was so funny because my dad was like " i'll just take a nap , already in bed and all" and meanwhile my doctor was freaking the hell out he was like "OMG, what are we gunna do! Press the help button! press the help" ....They simply pressed the door open button and since the elevator was leveled out they just got out and took a different one. But my doctor had a walk of shame. My dad was like "Really, big fancy doctor can't keep his cool?" lol

| LOL! A doctor is the sort of person who REALLY shouldn't panic in lifts. I mean, they're supposed to be super intelligent AND they work under pressure all the time. At least it probably gave your dad something to laugh about | |

| Libby: Well, I never got an email from them. But their twitter page rep. said they were sending the book out again for me. But no book yet...it's only been a week since they said they were sending it though, and it usually takes between 8-10 days to get to me. So fingers crossed I'm lucky and the book turns up tomorrow. If not, I'm waiting for Monday. | |

| Ugh, so I just found out the cold that my sister has passed onto the rest of my family (one I've been fighting for almost 2 weeks now) wasn't picked up from the kids she's teaching atm, but from her boyfriend. Not that it matters where it came from exactly, except that her boyfriend was here today hanging out with her (despite the fact she's heaps sick) and was all cocky because he was immune to all the sickness now that he passed it along. I want to strangle him sometimes...lucky for him I'm a fairly patient and peaceful person | |
