| Lol, that show sounds like fun to watch! And Kim, i remember you posted videos by them before. One of them was this funny stunt they pulled, posing as officials to penetrate some government thing and they make it all the way past several security check points and then they decided to turn around... if i recall correctly.
How is everyone? What's everyone been up too?

| I feel like I have a hangover and I didn't even drink last night Not a lot going on in my world atm. Well, the hubby did spring up some news on me a few days ago. A job offer might arise come the end of the yr/beginning of next year but it'll require us to move to PA. I'm not exactly thrilled at this. The only good thing will be that the city is only about 2 hours from NYC. And no offense to anyone in PA, but thats not a place I've ever wanted to visit much less live. We went through this early 2010 over possibly moving to NY and when I finally got excited about that, it didn't happen. So I'm trying not to worry too much cause it's only a possibility atm. I've lived in FL for 11 yrs now and I know I complain about living here, but it's home. If we move I'll have no one. My mom has already stated she won't move with. So living that far from her will be a bit of an adjustment all on its own add leaving my 2 best friends into that and I already tear up. I know I'm such a baby lol OH Tasha, I finally asked my mom what kind of doctor they are sending her too. It's an Upper GI specialist. Idk exactly what they do, but she has to go get a chest x-ray a few days before her appointment. | |

| Wilda, thats the gastroenterologist doctor... my dad has one.. but for lower... for the colon cancer and for the problem he had with retaining water in his tummy. It's basically the digestive tract and partially respiratory stuff they focus on...the heart not really unless it's having problems from something in the digestive but then they would send you to a cardiologists. SO its mostly the digestive track GI's focus on. SO an upper GI focus on esophagus and stomach. ... and chest xrays so that may include the lungs.
And I hope you dont have to leave home. I dont know what i would do without family and their help... i know how important that is and you dont realize how much you need that help until you dont have it, or something like with me ( dad sick, hubby;s cancer) happens. Its something you have to decide whats best for your family you know? IF you do end up moving I live in NYC , and i'll be your friend! LOL

| Wilda, I hope you feel better. Moving is rough. I hope you won't have to move so you can still be near family. Hey, has anyone heard from Jedi lately? I've sent her a PM but she hasn't responded... The spam abuse has gotten SO BAD in the past few days. Ugh. Wish there was something we could do about it. | |

| Ash, I've sent Jedi a PM a few days ago too. I just left Chris ( Ivashkov) a message on FB... i think she is an Admin as well... but i asked her if she is or if she knows anyone and told her about the spammers. Hopefully someone gets back to us soon. I feel bad for any new members or ppl looking to be new members. The spam is quite easy for me to avoid cause i know what the active topics are etc. But a new member can easily click on one and I hope they dont get put off or viruses for it. | |

| Family isn't an issue if we move. My mom is pretty much the only family I talk to and care to be around. I don't see my friends that often cause I live an hour away and we all have our own families and all but at least it's only an hour away. PA is way too far to travel to see them for a few hours : / And Tasha, living closer to you would be one of the few perks I've thought about I haven't seen any admins on in a while. I think they should choose someone whose more active to help out. I rarely go into other topics b/c of the spamming. | |

| Had a full on week with work and uni. Really want to have a chilled out weekend watching dvds and reading already.
I'm so sick of the Spam. The creators of the board should've handed over the reins to someone else if they weren't going to visit the site anymore. Its really annoying not having any mods.

| L.: My laptop and my mom's old laptop got viruses from the spam topics and we're still trying to fix them!
Going to the Tiki Party that my parents friends hold every year tonight and hopefully I won't get a headache this time!

| Wikipedia has just made me more intelligent...or at least more informed on the differences in culture. I was trying to explain to Ash in a PM what a Doona was and I could only think of some other words for it: duvet, blanket, quilt...but I didn't think they were the most common US names for it. Wikipedia tells me it's also known as a Comforter. I don't think I knew that. I mean, I've head the term used before, but I never held onto the info. I'll probably forget it again in a couple of days, but at least I feel like I've achieved something for today Hope everyone is well. | |

| So pissed off right now. Book delivery screw-up, got sent some random book instead of the one I've been waiting MONTHS for. Now I have to wait for book depository to email me back and find out what to do with this one and how to get the one I wanted.
Hope everyone else is having a better day.

| I had a bad experience with the book depo last week. Ordered a book that was a day away from release. They charged my credit card before they got their supply. When I emailed about why they weren't shipping they said they didn't get their shipment. They gave me a refund but I made a loss cause the pounds lost quite a bit of value in 2 wks. My local doesn't charge until shippment time. Think i'll buy local. | |

| Ugh, that sucks. I knew they charged instantly, but since I've never had any problems with them before it didn't really bother me. I'll still keep using them, especially since they're cheap, free shipping and most of the books I buy from them I can't get here anyway (at least not without spending heaps of money having them ordered in) so it works out for the best. I just want them to reply to my email so I can work out what's happening next. | |

| Nope, no reply. If they don't reply by midday tomorrow I'll email them again and tweet bookdepository (because they seem to reply more often there) | |

| I finally figured out it's pms. Instead of cramping, I'm getting headaches. But I took some Excedrin pms and it eased off for a little while but it's starting to come back again. Looks like next week is gonna be a rough one. Being a female really sucks sometimes : / | |
