What's everyone up to?

Tasha: It was really fun, but my bloody sister ruined the plans again! I was all set to go with my parents, and she sends me a text saying she's convinced her boyfriend to go with us and wanted to know what time we were leaving. So my parents instantly went "oh, well go with them of course." I think I would have preferred to go with my parents. The boyfriend complained the whole time, mostly because we were in the sun a lot and apparently he burns easily. Well he didn't bring sunblock and "doesn't wear hats" so that was his own fault (Ok, being fair, the sun was pretty fierce yesterday and I wish I'd had sunblock or a hat too, but you know what? I DIDN'T COMPLAIN!) But we got to go on a couple of rides, and I saw the ducks in their FABULOUS little outfits. If I ever get around to bluetoothing the photos to my computer I'll show them to you all. And then we went on the dodgem cars. As a kid I HATED the dodgem cars, but I was in a car by myself and did alright...had a bit of trouble turning the wheel a couple of times. They had 3 of the workers overseeing the ride. One in a box controlling music, one on the side and one in a care driving around with us. The car guy annoyed me the most because he decided to hit me side on and spin me around to face the wrong way. I looked up and he just grinned making me have to try and turn around...again! My sister and her boyfriend were in the same car and forunately because I'd had turning trouble earlier it meant I wasn't near them for most of the ride.

I would hit my sisters boyfriend if he ever complained to me about burning easily because my skin looks like the stomach of a fish I'm that pale, all it takes for me to get a sunburn is an hour in the sun!

lmao Those dodgem cars sound like fun. I've never ridden in one though. I'd so love to go to an amusement park. I've been dying to actually, but the closest one we have around here is about 3+ hours away in San Antonio. We're actually going there this weekend, but the parks would probably all be really busy due to the holiday weekend and all.

It sucks that your sister's boyfriend decided to ruin all the fun, though I'm sure he got what was coming to him. I mean, he really should have been prepared to be out in the sun, especially when he KNEW he was going to burn. I wouldn't have complained either, but then again, I don't burn all that easily, and I'm not so stupid to spend a day in the sun without wearing some sunblock. lol Just ditch your sister next time if she's going to be dragging her lame boyfriend along to everything. I mean, that's not quality sister time anyway.

Yeah, it would have been better if he hadn't come. But I still had an alright day. I just wish my sister had told me earlier that she'd convinced him to go, and hadn't waiting until 2 hours before we were leaving. I bet my mum would have enjoyed the show heaps. But oh well.

Ash, I used to cry so much when we went on dodgem cars. I could never get the car to work and my parents kept trying and trying to make me have fun on them. But then it got to be too expensive everytime you went somewhere to buy tickets for them. It was a lot of fun yesterday, except for the guy turning my car around the wrong way (I mean, seriously, he works for them and is one of the people who kepts saying you have to go in the one direction...so he really wasn't helping bumping me the wrong way)

Kim, if I were you them I probably would have bumbed into the guy who did that to you so he was facing the wrong way.

I was a little confused reading about "dodgem cars". I never heard that term before. But reading through your post and reading the context i figured it out...lol. I think cause in my part of the woods, we call it bumper cars. Lol. I love that we all are from different parts of the world. I love seeing the culture diversity.

And it sucks the sister's boyfriend is annoying and I'm glad you were able to salvage some fun out of the day.

Oh I thought that those were bumper cars but I wasn't sure, that makes sense now.

Rhia: I tried to hit him, I did get him once, but not as bad as he got me...he rides the cars for a living, so he's considerably better at it than I am. Oh well.

Tasha: Lol, we sort of call them both. At all the carnival places they're pretty much labelled "Dodgem Cars", but they're also known as bumper cars. Sorry, would have used both if I knew it wasn't a universal name.


HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! Hope the easter bunny was good to you.

Mum hates buying chocolates at easter (not because she dislikes chocolate, but because we never end up eating it all so it just goes to waste) so I woke up this morning expecting nothing, but she tricked us, and bought a couple of little malteser chocolate eggs and bunnies. I just about died. It's not much, like 5 tinny egss and 2 little bunnies, but they're the best eggs/chocolate EVER and always what I look forward to at easter, so I was pretty impressed. Mum's got a few spare eggs/bunnies too (incase we get random visitors during the day) I'm hoping there aren't visitors so I can get a few extra eggs!

Kim: That's to bad, when I'm in a bumper car and someone hits me on purpose and I get angry I get even worse at driving the car

Hope everyones having a nice easter.
I got some decent chocolates. Got little but the good swiss\belgian stuff.

Rhia: I don't get angry, I just sort of laugh it off. That's the whole point of the ride I guess, to hit people. I just didn't like the attendant making me spin the wrong way...it was pointless. If he really wanted to hit me he could have just come up behind me. But oh well.

At first I only suspected what "dodgem" cars are, so I googled it. I figured I knew what you were talking about Kim. lol I was just too lazy to specify that we call them bumper cars here in the US. And man, that would annoy me. I mean, he does it for a living, you'd think he'd know not to spin you the wrong way.

I hope everyone is having a good holiday!! Tomorrow I head out to San Antonio to visit relatives. Should be interesting. And I get to see my grandpa!! lol He is so old. The man was born in 1924!! We're bringing him some chocolate because he's a chocoholic.

Meh...I feel slightly better...after what happened with Travis, well...let's just say my last defense crumbled to dust, and now I'm lonely, the only thing I could think to do was talk to Shea (I know you all will get upset with me, but can you blame me? Other than Taco and, well...not really Travis anymore...I can only trust Shea, my sister and my mom [sort of, she still doesn't know I had sex with Travis] but yeah). So...any more advice for me?...

Tania - Ok, I'm going to be honest. You need to decide where you stand with both Shea and Travis. Because Shea said that you can't be together or you can't be friends, so I don't thi nk it's working there? Travis has apparently fessed up to cheating on you, and he says he's not good enough for you - you went through that with Shea, so just believe him. I think you should take a break from relationships altogether, they aren't doing much good for you atm. Focus on friends and studying and find a hobby, whether thats art, music, sport or whatev, but something that can keep you occupied.

Tania- I agree with Chloe.

Happy Easter everyone! Hope u all enjoy ur sweets. I , for one, will not be part taking in chocolates and cakes today. My dad bought 3 cakes cause its Easter and my niece's birthday. -_- But i have to salvage some aspect of my diet. lol.

Rhia: We are done in a relationship wise criteria. But I do trust him, and he's one out of four people I trust, so I sought him out for help and comfort.

Leela and Tasha: I understand, and like I said in the other topic, I told him I was done with relationships for a while. Yeah, Shea hurt me quite a lot, but what Travis did to me scarred me more than Shea ever did. Shea wasn't in for committment, but Travis was, so it took a toll on me when I found out all I did yesterday.

Tasha - That is so good of you to do that, loads of people make exceptions when on diets I have a stomach bug so I'm starving it away, so unfortunately i can't eat my Easter chocolate And whoaaa! 3 cakes, what type?
