| It's really hard to NOT pop bubble wrap. I've had times where some package has turned up and there's a HEAP of bubble wrap, the first thought is to pop it all, leaving no survivers! But then I start thinking that it could be reused...the problem is, once you start thinking about popping it, you can't stop. It's impossible. | |

| haha That's awesome that you bought your Mom bubble wrap Ash I went to a used book store today. I bought 2 books Raised By Wolves and On The Prowl which is Adult-very adult from my understanding. They are in good condition but a lot fo the other books I wanted the spines were bent. And being a fav series, I will just buy them new instead. I'd rather spend the extra money and have them in perfect condition than save money and them be bent. I'll have to go back when I have more money and buy some series I like that aren't favs. They had a crapload of the Sookie Stackhouse books and I'd lvoe to read those. While out my friend texted me telling me something about the US is at war again. I'm confused as hell. All I've gotten is that France has struck Libya and we are backing France up. I'm gonna go watch the news in hopes to find out wtf is going on... | |

So... this is what I know (what my brother who pays attention to the news tells me). Middle Easterners in Libya, Egypt, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia (possibly other Middle Eastern countries) are protesting the monarchies and trying to overthrow the governments. What's happening in Libya now and the reason we are involved is that there is a civil war going on between the civilians and the government led by Gadhafi and we are coming to the aid of the civilians. In Bahrain, the Saudi Arabian military is now aiding the monarchy against the civilians in order to protect the old ways... I have no idea what's going on in Egypt at the moment. I'm most worried about what's going on in Bahrain. It is utter chaos there. My sister's friend (a British expatriate family) has had to leave Bahrain and go back to England because things are not safe. I've lived in the Middle East and used to love going to Bahrain during breaks from school and to see the places I used to visit completely destroyed is very sad. Basically the reason we are "at war" is because we are bombing Gadhafi's troops to save the lives of Libyans who are trying to overthrow their oppressive leader.

| ahh I see. Thanks for explaining that Ash. The news didn't explain it enough for me to understand (didn't help that I caught the end of it). Looks like World War 3 is on the horizon *sigh*

| Rhia, read through Ashley's reply (next to last on previous page).
I hear it's US, Britain, France, Canada, and Italy VS Libya, Islam and Arab nations, Asia, and Afria now. This is getting insane and scary as hell. Looks like I'm going to have to watch the news regularly to keep up with everything...

I'm too liberal to think like that. Military action is UN security council approved anyway. Gaddafi will fall. He just needs pushing unlike Mubarak.

| I can't get a handle on what's going on with the world, the middle east and the us and everything. I honestly would not have known anything but Sat night i came on SB and saw these posts. my hubby who was lying next to me reading over my shoulder got curious and so Sunday morning when were getting ready for a party, he put on the news. But we already missed so much, it didn't help much. I still have no idea whats going.

| sorry for the double post but seeing wilda explain what tbh meant reminded me of something i've been trying to figure out, another internet lingo word... lml ... i've been seeing that ALOT. For the life of me I can't figure out what it means. From contexts, i've seen people using it like they would use "lol" but lml? I just dont know what it means... | |

Well, according to urbandictionary.com, "lml" can mean either "love my life" or "laughing mad loud". So I guess with the context you've been seeing it, they are using it similarly to how one uses "lol". I use urbandictionary.com for all the slang/txt words I don't know because I'm an old person and can't keep track.

| haha I'm going to have to keep that website in mind cause I'm the same way. These kids are making me feel old with their new words and spellings lol
I think the love my life sounds way better than laugh mad loud...Think I will stick with 'lol' on that one.

| i dont mind these text words so much. Its annoying when new ones pop up and their like flavors of the week. When i finally figure out what it means, they stop using them. So now i just ignore them until the phase passes lol. Its the spellings that drive me crazy. Especially the spelling with " ii " and stuff like that. The main reason i switched over from myspace to facebook two years ago was to get away from the people that typed with alternating caps ( LiKe ThIs) <<<drives me crazy . lol | |

| I ignore internet lingo I can't get straight away. If I can't work it out on my own it's not important. | |

| So, its getting close to the wire now. My dad starts chemotherapy tomorrow. My hubby starts sunday. My dad goes to a facility once a week for his treatment. The hubby will go every mon-fri for radiation @ the hospital and take chemo pills at home everyday. Its all approaching so fast. SO much to do and so little time. yesterday i spent all day call bills, and at the pharmacy making sure both of them had all their medication and stuff. I'm anxious for my new debit card to come in the mail, i want to order medical supplies online for the hubby. And later today I'm going to do some light food shopping, make sure the house is a little stocked. | |

| Tasha, I admire you. You have been soooo strong through everything with your Dad and now with your hubby and you are still going strong. You are such an incredible daughter and wife. You have dropped everything to take care of those you love. Not many people would put their life on hold like you have especially those as young as you are. I saw your hubby's comment on fb about your friends not being there for you. If I lived closer, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Just know everyone her eon SB are here for you even if we can only lend our love and support through the internet. Know we are thinking about you and that we love you! HUGS! | |

| Awe you guys, i got all teary eyed reading this. I heart you all and appreciate you all so very much :-)
Today my dad was a little energizing bunny. we walked to radioshack and bought a cable he needed to hook up his blu ray player so he can go online and use netflix. Then we walked over to the supermarket. I bought some diet food stuff ( finally) and then came home and spent the day teaching my dad how to search netflix and use the netflix app on the blu ray player. He was all excited it was so cute. He was looking up all his old shows and stuff.
We all just tried to have a peaceful relaxing day. My mom barely said one word all night. I even got to read a lil bit. I've been reading the same book for like 2 weeks if not longer. I finally finished it. I want to go to sleep early cause I have to wake up early but i'm so restless. I think i'll read a bit more to calm my nerves.
Oh and does any1 know how to send videos? My email ( hotmail) says the file is too big to send and it sends files online using sky dive and its too big for the email too so i dont know how to send videos any other way. i took videos of Uncle Majic, the magician at my cousins birthday party and now my whole family wants to see the videos lol

| could you upload it to youtube as a hidden video (so you can't just randomly search for it) and then just send the link to your family members. Then only the people with links will be able to access it. | |
