Kim, I'm glad your first day went well. It sounds like a great class. I'm going to have to look into those classes. Sounds like something I would really be interested in doing.

Kim- thats an AWESOME hw assignment. Though I'm picturing myself coming home from school and proclaiming to my bf and family i have to go to a bookstore to do homework.....no one will believe me. Lol. Hope u have fun doing your homework! BTW the only book section i avoid is the romance. lol. I would never pick one of those up and read it. Though I was tempted to buy a whole series last winter when I was visiting the in-laws-to-be. They took me to a indoor flea market and there was this used book store. They were selling each book for .25 cents. I wanted to buy the entire series just cause it was so cheap.lol.

Im actually quite happy today. it's all dark and dreary outside, raining. I woke up stupid early for no reason. But i'm going extra slow today. So it's evening out to my normal wake up schedule. But i plan on doing laundry today in between my reading. And staying in bed. I was so furious yesterday cause i wanted to go to my college and pick up my diploma and then come home and do nothing. But of course, my mom had other plans for me. I had to run and do errands and go to the supermarket to pick up a few items. then run to the bank to get money. Then come home and wait for the plumber. After the plumber left i went back out to buy some cleaning supplies and house hold items and then my bf wanted Popeyes so i had to go back out and get that. needless to say, i didn't get my peaceful day yesterday and I'm hoping that day can be today.

Sorry you didn't get your peaceful day yesterday Tasha. I hope you get to just kick back and relax today. You deserve at least one day of relaxation-way more than 1 day imo.

Tasha: My mum just laughed when I told her I'd have to go to a bookstore. My friend and I were sitting in class laughing, because we'd just been to a bookstore yesterday morning...so we were quite happy to go again

I sorta had a peaceful day yesterday. I didnt go outside to do errands at all. I just had to tend to the house and look after the hubby and my dad and do laundry. But not running around outside saves alot of energy . I ended up reading most of late afternoon. Then watching a movie with the hubby. Then i fell asleep so hardcore. The alarm was going off.. the phone was in my hand on vibrate and on sound. I didnt feel it or hear it. My hubby watched me snore through it for ten minutes before he woke me up. Lol.

But im annoyed I got a text message at 830 in the morning that woke me up. Then i said i'll just get up and have my quite time. My parents started fighting- woke my brother up, woke my bf up( and gave him more head pains) and pissed me off.

I haven't been on in forever and I feel so out of touch. How is everyone? I'm doing okay, I'm dating Travis and now my hair is sorta short. If any of you are on Becca's topic in the Introductions/ Leavings, I explain alil more on there. I'm so bored and have no phone. So what about everyone else?

Kilts are Scottish and the type we see today weren't invented until the 17 and 18 hundreds but the original kilt was called the "Greater Plaid" and you don't say it plad you say it playd and My last name in Scottish is Maclaughclan (i think that's how you spell it cause i'm not to sure)

OK...as I am Welsh and know quite a bit about Britain lol...a Kilt is a skirt which men wear (Scotland) without any underwear...(i did not know that women wore them as well)...anyway, they have long hockey socks, black shoes (i think) and a cock-bag (yes, that's what it's called)...every kilt has a different pattern to it...each for every family.

Hello ladies! Hope everyone had a great weekend! My hubby was home all weekend for once. It was nice

Awe thats great Wilda, that ur husband was home for a weekend. Hope ya'll had some family time.

I stood up late reading Awakened. I haven't finished it yet but I'm almost done with the book. But i'm so paying from the affects of staying up late reading. I slept til almost 10am. I can't remember the last time i slept in so late. Plus its all thunder storm-y outside and dark. So that helped. I honestly could crawl back in bed and sleep more but since its nasty outside taht cuts the things i have to do today in half. So i'm hoping to get everything done and out the way and just read for the better part of the day. Hope it works out that way :-D

Glad you had a good weekend Wilda. My best friend from uni is staying with me at the moment. the house she was renting a room in previously was sold from underneath her, so she's desperately looking for a new place to stay, so for the short term she's living with mer (we're not a equiped for a full-time live-in.)

haha Tasha I used to stay up real late reading. But now I'm so used to being on a schedule that I will fall asleep reading if I stay up reading too late. But sometime syou just can't help it.

Kim, that's nice of you to let your friend stay with you for a bit And let me know how I Am Number Four is. I am dying to see it but I haven't read the book yet. If I see the movie first though, I doubt I'll read the book. Then again I hear theres a sequel so who knows...

Yeah, I'd already read the book and loved it, so I've been super excited for the movie ever since.

Wilda: The movie was fantastic. A little different from the book, but mainly because it left out a few scenes...nothing major being left out or anything. I was worried I'd worked myself up over the movie because I loved the book so much, but no the excitement was worth it, I definitely wasn't disappointed. It was so good. I saw it with my sister and friend, both of which haven't read the book, and they enjoyed it too...it wasn't like some movies-based-on-books were you miss things if you haven't read the book, but I do think I was more excited because I knew what was going to happen next. I loved it more because there were a couple of aussies in it and one got to keep her aussie accent, so I had a good giggle about that one
